Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations
Chapter 1876: What Caused the Breakup?
This is exactly the information Justin Kingston needed. He looked earnestly at the girl sitting opposite him, hoping she would continue speaking.
And Tess Tate also felt it; this was the information CEO Kingston needed.
So, she began to recall carefully, and then explained to him in an orderly manner, "I don’t know the boy’s name."
As she spoke, she leaned forward, searching for something in the pile of photos on the table.
Finally, she found a full-body photo taken in the summer. She picked it up with both hands and handed it to CEO Kingston, "But I know the boy’s name has the character ’Mo’ in it. Look at her ankle."
This was an important piece of information.
Justin Kingston took the yellowed old photo with both hands and saw the character ’Mo’ clearly tattooed on the girl’s right ankle.
"Abby especially loved him, so much so that even when she got hurt and cried loudly in my arms, she never said a bad word about him."
So, what was the reason for the breakup?
Was it because Anton Miller abandoned Abby Sawyer?
Justin couldn’t help but wonder, but if that were the case, why couldn’t Anton Miller move on?
His thoughts unknowingly drifted back to that hot summer, to the sunlit classroom. What exactly happened in their senior year?
"Do you know who initiated the breakup?" Justin asked her, "Why didn’t they get back together?"
"Abby initiated the breakup, and they never reconciled," Tess told him confidently, "But I don’t know the reason for the breakup; Abby didn’t want to say, and as a good friend, I didn’t press further."
Justin nodded thoughtfully, something must have happened.
He picked up the photos one by one, his gaze fixed on Abby’s face, "Can you lend these to me for a while? I’ll make copies and return them to you."
"Sure." Tess nodded.
Standing from a manager’s perspective, Justin asked with a hint of concern, "Isn’t today a workday? Why are you at home?"
The girl pressed her lips together and answered truthfully, "I took three days off." As for the reason, she didn’t report it, and Justin didn’t ask further.
"Alright, thank you for today." Justin’s time was also precious. He stood up with the photos and said to her, "Come to my office next Monday to pick up the original photos."
"Okay." Tess also quickly stood up.
"Goodbye." Justin’s voice was low and magnetic, he withdrew his gentlemanly, gentle gaze from the girl, "I’ll be off, then." He then walked out.
The girl escorted the CEO to the door, watching as that tall, slender figure left.
On the way back, Justin drove, with images of the girl from the photo appearing in his mind.
Then came images of Anton Miller’s former girlfriends, each remarkably resembling Abby Sawyer!
So, what exactly happened between them back then? Could it have such a profound impact on a person?
Someone hurt by love began to let themselves go, forcibly becoming a non-believer in marriage, and another disappeared without a trace.
How much resentment could there be in events from seventeen or eighteen years ago?
They must have both been left wounded.
Justin deduced that there must be some unresolved misunderstanding between Anton Ford and this girl, which led to neither emotionally invested person living well.
Whether or not they can get back together in the future, they both need to completely let go, or they’ll live unhappily for the rest of their lives.
Right now, it’s crucial to find this girl named Abby Sawyer as soon as possible. Justin planned to send more people and intensify the search.
