Chapter 1872: Searching for Abby Sawyer 2

  • Next Chapter

The final year of high school is all about burying one’s head in a sea of questions, the last moment of striving for dreams, so it’s not surprising for a transfer student to go unnoticed.

But with his reminder, a girl’s figure suddenly flashed in the girl’s mind.

"You are...?" The girl looked at him intently, "How did you find this place?" Perhaps something happened to Abby Sawyer? Maybe it involved high school classmates?

Clearly, the girl still remembered Abby Sawyer.

This made Justin Kingston very happy, and also gave him a bit of hope, "Don’t worry about how I found it, I’m just here today to ask about her."

The attitude didn’t resemble that of police handling a case.

Justin’s voice was deep and pleasant, his whole demeanor friendly, and combined with his naturally handsome appearance, no one could refuse him.

"Come on in." The girl judged he wasn’t a bad person, even though she lived alone, she opened the door to let him in.

Justin was very gentlemanly, each detail reflecting his high courteousness, not allowing the girl any panic.

After entering, he didn’t close the door but left it wide open, giving the girl a sense of security.

"Do you still remember her?" Justin asked softly.

"Take a seat." The girl was also polite, pouring him tea while answering, "I remember her, she was a very quiet and kind girl, her grades were average, but her personality was good, especially that long hair, it always gave people a feeling of first love’s purity."

The girl thought for a moment and added, "Her hair was about waist-length, and it was black and smooth, she had the longest hair in our class, so I have some impression of her."

This reminded Justin of a detail, all of Anton Ford’s publicly known and unknown girlfriends had long, waist-length hair, black and smooth.

So Justin was more convinced of an inner suspicion—after all these years, Anton Ford had still not let go of this girl called Abby Sawyer.

If Abby Sawyer remained single, he would try to get them together again, to fill a regret in Anton’s heart.

But first, the reason for their separation had to be clarified.

"Do you have a photo of her?" Justin inquired.

The girl thought for a moment, "Only a graduation photo, but the graduation photos are gone, right after the college entrance exam, returning to the classroom, books and photos were taken by someone, probably sold as waste."

"That’s quite regretful." Justin pondered, "Did she have close friends in the class? How was your relationship?"

"We were just ordinary classmates, not very close, so I’m not very clear about her matters, I only know she was particularly romantic."

"Oh?" Justin asked, "How was she romantic?"

The girl sat down opposite him, recalling the senior year of high school—

"The desks in senior year were piled high with books, if you didn’t sit properly, your head would be blocked by the stacks, but despite the crowded desk, Abby Sawyer would always put a small glass jar with a fresh flower in it on her desk."

The girl said, her lips showing a hint of envious smile, "Sometimes it was a rose, sometimes a lily, sometimes a daisy, the classmates sitting around her could all smell the faint fragrance."

The girl said, "Later, we found out her family ran a flower shop, she said a flower could bring her good mood, helping her study more seriously and focus more."

"She... she’s so special." Justin probed, "Did any boys pursue her in senior year?"
