Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations
Chapter 1864: The Atmosphere Becomes a Bit Tense
Janelle knew well that asking this question was inappropriate; asking it would be disrespectful to Jocelyn, especially since she knew that they weren’t together.
But girls tend to be sensitive about exes, and often like to poke around even when there’s nothing, so it’s normal to ask uncontrollably.
Especially with Jocelyn, she had become family—someone she couldn’t avoid and couldn’t escape from.
However, she believed that Trevor loved her, because Janelle could feel it herself.
Leaning against his chest, listening to his heartbeat, smelling his faint scent, Janelle happily closed her eyes.
The two sat on a large rock in the royal gardens, the beautiful sunset shining on them, with a large artificial lake ahead, where the sun sparkled on the water’s surface.
Nearby, peace doves fluttered up and down... The scene was harmonious.
On their way back to the palace, Trevor and Janelle walked hand in hand, fingers interlocked, moving forward step by step.
People they met along the way would stop and greet them, saying, "Hello, Princess. Hello, Mr. Trevor."
"Hello!" Janelle Mills wrote her good mood on her face, smiling without a hint of pretense, becoming especially down-to-earth and congenial after her return.
This led to high praise from everyone in the royal family.
"Don’t you think Mr. Trevor is quite handsome?" After the maids walked far enough away, they couldn’t resist glancing back at the tall figure holding the princess’s hand.
"Those long legs, deep eyes, high nose, and sculpted features are really noble beyond our reach."
"Our princess truly has good fortune; I’m so envious."
"If I woke up every morning to such a handsome face, I’d have a good mood all day, making everything enjoyable."
"Just wondering... When will the princess and her consort get married?"
"It should be soon; they’ve been taking wedding photos recently and their relationship is especially stable."
"I’m really envious."

After dinner, Trevor and Janelle went upstairs. During this period, they hadn’t been sleeping together, but were staying in the same suite.
Their bedrooms were separated by just one wall, and they’d exchange goodnight and good morning every day. This kind of slightly distant life was rather delightful.
To like and to love doesn’t necessarily mean to possess.
A slower relationship might be more holistic.
Once upstairs, Janelle took out the booklet of 100 romantic things every couple should do, handed it to Trevor by the sofa, and then sat down beside him.
Trevor opened it and picked up a pen, jotting down the date for ’taking wedding photos.’
Janelle took out a lipstick, lightly smearing it on their finger pads, and then applied some on his as well.
They pressed their finger pads on the newly written date, forming heart-shaped fingerprints.
"What shall we do next?" Trevor asked her, "Your pick?"
Janelle, however, closed the booklet and handed the choice to him, "Okay, you first close your eyes and randomly point to one?"
"Sure!" Trevor nodded in agreement and then closed his eyes with a smile.
Janelle flipped open the booklet at random without looking, "Go ahead and pick!"
Trevor reached out, his finger moving lightly on the booklet and randomly stopping, "Alright, this one."
When he opened his eyes, the girl leaned closer, and their gazes fell on the four characters he pointed to; the atmosphere instantly became a bit tense.
The four characters were—take a bath together!
