She was in love, but didn’t dare to love without reservation.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Evan Fairchild asked softly.

"Mr. Fairchild, you’re so handsome. I can’t seem to look at you enough."

"Then take your time. If a minute isn’t enough, take an hour. If an hour isn’t enough, take a day. If a day isn’t enough, take a year. And if a year isn’t enough, then you can look at me for a lifetime."

Melody Monroe slowly drew closer to him.

The tips of their noses touched.

This was the first time she had ever been so bold.

"Bunny! I told you not to run off!"

Hearing Ian Monroe’s voice, Melody Monroe snapped out of her daze. She quickly let go of Evan Fairchild, putting some distance between them. She looked down, as if she’d been caught doing something wrong.

Evan Fairchild frowned as he watched Ian Monroe walk toward them, clutching the pig.

’Just as things were getting good, it all came to a screeching halt!’

"Mom, I think we should get a leash for Bunny, you know, like the kind for dogs. That way, I can grab it right away if it tries to run off."

"Okay, I’ll have Talia buy one."

"Ian Monroe, it’s getting late. You should go to sleep."

"No! You two aren’t asleep, so I’m not sleeping either. I don’t have lessons tomorrow. Mr. Fairchild, you said that if I passed your test, I could take a ten-day break. The next phase of my lessons doesn’t start until after that."

Evan Fairchild was speechless. He had, in fact, said that.

He had packed Ian Monroe’s schedule with lessons and had no intention of letting him attend a normal school like other children; that would just be a waste of time.

Ian Monroe’s ability to learn had far exceeded his expectations.

"Let Ian play a little longer. He can sleep in tomorrow."

"Then let him and the pig play out here. We can go back to our room."

Melody Monroe was left speechless.

She immediately clung to Evan Fairchild’s arm. "Mr. Fairchild, I haven’t had enough fun yet either." Her eyes seemed to hold the most brilliant stars, twinkling with a captivating light.

"Alright, we’ll play a little longer."

...

The production team’s adjustments left some people feeling indecisive.

Whether to stay or leave became a dilemma.

After all, none of this season’s guests were major stars; they were all fighting desperately for every single opportunity.

The show had only been on the air for a few short days, but many of the participants had already gained some popularity from it.

Their reputations had grown significantly compared to before.

Several of them had already been offered commercial gigs.

As a result, some began to waver.

The nature of the show had changed, and no one knew how it would be received once it aired.

The main draw of the show was its live format. Now that it was being changed to a pre-recorded broadcast, it had completely lost its appeal.

Forget about becoming a massive hit—it might not even get any viewers when it aired.

’It would be better to cash in on the little bit of buzz they had now and look for other opportunities.’

Of everyone, Shannon Paxton was the most torn about whether to renew her contract.

She had received a call from a production team for an audition. It was for a show with Aya Winters as the female lead, and it even featured some veteran actors!

If she could land the role, it would be a huge boost for her career.

But she also had a feeling the show wouldn’t flop as badly as everyone feared. If it weren’t for the incident with Eileen Scott, the show would have definitely been a massive hit.

The timing, however, was tight. If she stayed to continue filming, she might miss her chance at that role.

Seeing how conflicted Shannon Paxton was, her agent offered a suggestion. "Shannon, how about we just terminate the contract and call it quits? We won’t film anymore."
