Aurelia Shaw’s mind conjured up the image of Alaric Wood again. The way Alaric looked at her was always so sorrowful, as if he had known her for a long time. But why was there no memory of him in her mind?

She could be sure her memory wasn’t faulty.

There was only one possibility.

This world was not her world.

This conjecture made Aurelia’s heart skip a beat. She covered her eyes with a hand and pressed hard on her temples.

Whenever she thought about such matters, her brain throbbed unbearably, so she forced herself to stop thinking about it.

That day was the recess time in the prison, and Aurelia deliberately kept her distance from Vespera Bennett.

"Alright." Aurelia sat on the table, her long white legs swinging back and forth. Her red lips curved into a light smile, with amusement glimmering in her eyes, oozing with sensuality, allure, boldness, yet harmless, like a siren.

Vespera looked meaningfully towards the mechanical room and said, "Better to let her understand what it’s like in there."

Oh, the boss wasn’t planning to have any sympathy for her.
