Chapter 113: How Do You Wish To Be Repaid

’’No.’’

’’Not interested.’’

Azazel’s forest green gaze followed her movement as she stood up from the couch, walked past them with her shoulders raised high in defiance and entered the main bedroom.

His Master’s bedroom.

His hands balled into tight fists beside him as several elimination thoughts raced through his head.

Soon.

It won’t be long before I get you out of this place and out of our lives for good.

Grim smiled as she left.

As expected of his cold-hearted woman.

’’Lead the way,’’ Grim ordered and the king of shadows nodded right before using his magic to make both of them vanish completely from the room, plunging the large space into an eerie silence.

☆☆☆

It was already mid-afternoon yet the sun was clouded by grey clouds and the sky had an oppressive tint to it.

The air was rough and cold and the demons gathered at the top of the demon tower on earth swayed slightly at the growing force.

Lightning flashed briefly somewhere far in the east.

Demons dressed in monochrome colored suits actively engaged with each other. Some talked through the advanced devices with them as they spread about. Marking every corner and territory of the roof top.

A spot not too far from the center, a demon with iron-clad hands was currently setting up torture devices and deadly pills in a corner. His eyes pitch black and murderous.

A demon walked beside him to check the flesh binding spell currently placed on the two demons forced on their knees at the center of the chaos.

The tortured demons looked exhausted, their breaths and their hearts restless against their chests. The brutal binding spell against their bodies had them pinned to the hard concrete floor. Their flesh and muscles were slowly pinched and burned by the fire of the spell. Burnt marks were starting to appear on several parts of their body and face. And the pain of the demonic spell was indescribable and unbearable.

The demon doctor hadn’t stopped screaming and blaming everything on Yahza.

Yahza only looked determined to go through the pain. Hell, he was ready to face that bastard son of the devil.

That tyrant of a prince—and send him back to where he came from, if possible.

Yahza gritted his teeth. His eyes were cold and venomous as he thought about the most painful thing he could say to that snake. He hated him for turning his back on the very people that accepted him regardless of the shameful rumors he carried with him just because of a mortal woman.

Yahza spat out in disgust at the thought of that ill creature.

He should have killed her when he had the chance.

Then he would see if the bloody son of the devil would still have the guts to tie him down as if he was just any demon.

He struggled against the spell once more and failed.

The demon with the blackened gaze pulled out three ominous weapons. One was designed to pluck out the veins in one’s body and could be used to gouge out one’s eyeballs if needed.

’’Arrange them according to their size or difference. It’s messy when you put the ones with poison near the ones that cause physical pain,’’ one demon advised the executioner. The tall, bulky brute with metal fingers turned around and nodded.

The wind picked up sharply. Rain was already falling in tiny droplets.

The demon doctor groaned out in pain once more, grabbing the attention of a few other demons surrounding them.

’’I have...I have been the demon doctor of this place for several decades now. I have served the royal and other prestigious families in Hell for thousands of years!’’

’’Is this how you all repay my efforts?!’’

He yelled out like a madman.

The wind grew around them ominously. As if announcing the arrival of something far greater.

’’Ah...’’ The demon doctor slumped on his knees. Blood pooled from his mouth as he struggled to keep his eyes open and go through the pain.

Yahza gritted his teeth. His gaze pierced through the brats that betrayed him enough to give away his current hideout in Hell and have him arrested by the twelve disciples of Azazel.

’’How do you wish to be repaid for your efforts?’’

Dun.

A divine omen appeared among the growing dark clouds. A figure appeared in the sky, forcing every demon to their knees in awe at his presence.

The demon doctor stared up weakly. His eyes widening at the demon up in the clouds and standing in the chaos that brewed in the sky.

It was a heart–stopping sight. One that spelled his doom in bright, bold blood letters and for a moment it felt like he was staring right at the angel of death rather than the son of the devil.

The demon doctor let out a terrified breath. Every muscle in his body stiffened, fear shutting down every nerve and fiber in his body.

His eyes widened like the dark moon appearing before the divine being.

’’Your insubordination almost—no...’’

Ichorais felt it within his body.

The bloodthirst mixed with anger.

His ancient hunger for flesh and blood.

His desire for ruin and chaos.

He hovered in the sky, high above everyone and the world below him like a true divine phenomenon.

’’Killed my love.’’

Yahza stared up slowly and glared hard at the abomination.

If only he could get out of this binding spell..

His lips moved against each other in blood rage.

He didn’t mind making the entirety of Earth the beast’s burial ground.

’’It wounded and left her unprotected.’’

A calm and tense silence followed after he spelled out their sins. His fine, dark lips moved as he thought of the worst possible outcome of their disobedience.

’’A request can be left unanswered.’’

’’A favour ignored. A promise forgotten and a deal abandoned and broken.’’

Violent thunderclaps echoed his disappointment. The swirling, ominous clouds behind him represented his anger.

His eyes were dark gold with insidious red slits that burned like hell.

’’But a command is a command.’’

Ichorais continued as he prepared himself to strike. His eyes dripped with blood-red venom as he looked truly like the ancient forbidden fruit that once haunted the innocent and pure Garden of Eden eons ago.

’’My word is supreme and whole.’’

Yahza disagreed completely with the venomous look he gave the creature above.

Lucifer’s word is supreme and whole.

He wanted so badly to make this abomination understand that fact through pain and dismemberment.

’’It can’t be ignored or left unanswered.’’

’’And it leaves no room for disrespect.’’

The demon doctor let out a blood–curling scream as the forbidden fruit transformed into his glorious form.

The other demons, seeing the extent of his might, trembled and fell completely to the ground in fear and awe. Many pulled back and fled.

The serpent’s eyes stared at the word below. It looked so small compared to the havoc it could do.

Even Yahza paused to stare at its greatness. His entire body paralyzed in fear, his mouth wide apart and for a moment it felt like they were all staring at the face of their end.

The serpent’s eyes stared furiously below, as if searching for its prey. Its long, curly body balanced perfectly in the air. The dark clouds forming a cozy blanket around its apocalyptic figure.

This was just one of the few things he could do, and one of the least terrifying forms he could become.

To become a mortal’s nightmare, he only needed to be big enough to swallow a few buildings or skyscrapers.

But to become the nightmare of those who themselves were nightmares.

The serpent grinned as his gaze fell on the two he wanted to devour at once.

The demon doctor inhaled long enough as the enormous beast concealing its form in the dark raging sky locked eyes with him with a sinister intent and a hungry look.

’’H...HELP Me—’’

In one quick move, the demon doctor and Yahza were gone.

The wind blew heavily against the faces of all the demons on the rooftop. The torture weapons and pills disappeared. A few of the demons disintegrated completely underneath the intensity of the fearsome wind.

And in that chaotic storm, Azazel sprung out from the ground and stood tall and unmoving.

Ichoraisis, now in his human form, descended and lowered himself gently to the ground before Azazel.

His bare feet touched the ground and the wind stilled. Giving the demons on the rooftop a moment to breathe.

Most collapsed and threw up at the sight. While others trembled in fear and begged for mercy at his feet.

Ichor’s eyes remained that dark gold with red slits.

It has been a long time since he had a proper meal and those two demons just gave him a perfect excuse to indulge in what he liked best.

Ichor said nothing as their cries and pleas filled his ears.

There were still some terrible monsters out there he needed to deal with.

His Anais was awake and surviving.

It’s time for karma to move and the call for revenge rang.
