Chapter 336: Chapter 170: Officially Adopting the Canary

"Dance for me later."

Chen Mo nodded in appreciation and gave her a meaningful look.

Shen Qingying’s features and aura were rather classical, a fact only enhanced by the traditional Chinese-style skirt she wore.

It brought out her best features perfectly.

’Imagine that, paired with her graceful dancing, and then the "playing with Qingying" session afterward.’

’The visual feast, the dual satisfaction of mind and body...’

At the thought, a look of deep anticipation flashed in his eyes.

"Yes, darling~"

Hearing this, Shen Qingying readily agreed.

Dancing was her specialty. As long as Chen Mo wanted to watch, she could perform any dance for him.

After all, she had trained in even the most difficult classical dances to an incredibly high level.

With other styles of dance, she only needed a little practice to perform them exceptionally well.

While the two of them were chatting, the ever-perceptive Old Liu had already gone to prepare the vehicle handover paperwork.

When Chen Mo and Shen Qingying finished their conversation and walked back into the dealership, he immediately hurried over.

"Mr. Chen, shall I take you two to inspect the car now?"

Old Liu was officially starting the handover process.

"OK."

Chen Mo nodded and followed Old Liu toward the parked car.

Shen Qingying’s beautiful eyes were filled with anticipation as she linked her arm through Chen Mo’s. ’Am I finally going to see the real car?’

Soon, Old Liu led them to the vehicle delivery area.

The car was already decorated with colorful ribbons, and props for the handover ceremony like balloons and confetti cannons were laid out beside it.

There was also a sign that read: "Congratulations to Mr. Chen Mo on becoming a valued Porsche owner."

"Mr. Chen, this is the Panamera you ordered."

Old Liu gestured with his right hand, indicating that this was the car Chen Mo had ordered and would be taking home today.

Chen Mo looked over the actual car. It was definitely much better-looking than in the photos.

Some of the optional exterior components were different from the Panamera he’d driven last time, but it was basically the same.

That one had been black, while this one was white.

White exterior, red interior—a classic combination.

Chen Mo did a quick walk-around. Everything looked fine.

All the options had been installed according to his build sheet.

Shen Qingying, however, was captivated by the car’s appearance.

Her eyes sparkled with delight; she thought the car was much more beautiful in person than in the photos.

’It’s even better looking than my senior’s boyfriend’s car,’ she thought. ’It must have some kind of exterior package.’

She couldn’t resist pulling out her phone and taking pictures of the car from every conceivable angle.

"Use this. Film a vlog of us picking up the car."

Chen Mo took the Pocket 3 he’d brought from his other car out of his pocket, switched it on, and handed it to her.

"Okay!"

Shen Qingying took the Pocket 3 and immediately started filming Chen Mo and the car.

When Old Liu saw the familiar action camera, he couldn’t help but shudder internally.

That was the same little gadget that had captured crystal-clear footage of him slamming on the brakes and yanking the handbrake last time.

He practically had PTSD from the sight of it now.

’Now Chen Mo’s filming a pickup vlog again,’ he worried. ’I just hope nothing goes wrong this time.’

Soon enough, Chen Mo finished his inspection. There were no issues.

"Mr. Chen, you mentioned you wanted to purchase this in your company’s name, correct? Did you bring a copy of the business license?"

"I brought the business license and the company seal. The invoice should also be issued in the company’s name."

Chen Mo nodded. They had already gone over these procedures, so he had come prepared with everything necessary.

"Excellent. Please have a seat and wait for a moment, I’ll go take care of the paperwork."

Old Liu showed Chen Mo and Shen Qingying to the lounge area before hurrying off to process the various documents.

Shen Qingying sat down next to Chen Mo, her soft, delicate body snuggling up against him. Her beautiful eyes kept flashing with a complex emotion as she looked at him.

’It’s not surprising that he’s buying the car under a company name,’ she mused. ’After all, there are limits on how many personal license plates one can own.’

’What’s surprising is that on top of all the assets I’ve already seen, he also runs a company.’

’This means that what I’ve seen so far is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his wealth.’

’Chen Mo is far more powerful than I ever imagined!’

"Like the car?"

Catching her complex gaze out of the corner of his eye, he turned to her with a smile.

"I love it. Thank you, darling~"

Shen Qingying leaned in, her pretty face drawing close, and pressed a kiss to Chen Mo’s lips.

She was ecstatic. ’So, when Chen Mo said he’d get me a Panamera, it wasn’t just an empty promise.’

’The order form wasn’t just for show. He actually brought me here to pick it up. This is really happening.’

’However...’

’I think I can taste something else on his lips.’

’Is this his girlfriend’s lipstick?’

’Of course it is. It’s much more high-end than mine.’

"After we get the car, we’ll sort out an agreement."

Chen Mo said, his arm around her slender waist, bringing up the agreement himself.

This was something she had mentioned in the profile she gave him when they first met.

"Okay."

A captivating smile spread across Shen Qingying’s pretty face as she nodded lightly.

’Is this day finally here?’

’From this day forward, I won’t be a wannabe socialite anymore. I’ll be the real deal!’

’The price, of course, is that I’ll become Chen Mo’s obedient, well-behaved Canary.’

’It’s a price I’m more than willing to pay.’

After a while, Old Liu returned, having completed most of the paperwork.

He had Chen Mo sign a few documents, after which Chen Mo made a call to his company’s finance department to wire the funds.

Once the dealership received the payment, they issued the invoice.

The invoice was made out to his company, listing its name and the code from the business license.

With that settled, Chen Mo went to choose a license plate number.

This time, however, his special ’constitution’ didn’t activate. His luck was just average, and all the available numbers were rather ordinary.
