Chapter 1104: Reaffirming Resolve

Chapter 1104: Reaffirming Resolve

Of course, there was a huge difference between Vaan’s Heaven’s Swallowing Space and a Divine Cultivator’s Divine World.

The Divine World was like a planet governed by the five elemental laws. On the other hand, the Heaven-Swallowing Space was like an empty universe, governed by pure spatial law.

One could support life but not accommodate many things; the other could accommodate all things but not support life.

That said, Vaan didn’t feel like it was an impossible task to create habitable worlds within his Heaven-Swallowing Space. He already had some comprehension of space, time, fire, earth, water, wind, life, and death.

He believed that once he raised all these laws to a certain standard, he would be able to create a more complete life-accommodating world than the Divine World. Moreover, it wouldn’t be limited to one world but many worlds, mirroring a miniature universe.

Unfortunately, transforming his Heaven-Swallowing Space into a miniature universe required a tremendous amount of effort, time, and resources. At his current stage of development, it was not realistic to pursue such a distant goal.

’There’s another way,’ Vaan thought of a shortcut.

Considering his Heaven-Swallowing Space was called Heaven-Swallowing, there was no need for him to try and create a complete world from scratch.

Theoretically, he should be able to swallow existing worlds and their governing laws to provide the life-accommodating space for living beings in his Heaven-Swallowing Space.

Although Vaan’s Heaven’s Swallowing Space still had quite a distance from becoming large enough to accommodate stars and planets, he couldn’t see the limits of its growth. It was quite possible that it had the potential to expand to the size of a real universe, given enough time and development.

Upon thinking about this, Vaan couldn’t help but ponder the purpose of Heaven’s Swallowing Space’s existence.

If he could fulfill his destiny and unbecome an unrivaled powerhouse, someone who could change the status quo of Chaos, and bring the entirety of Chaos into his Heaven-Swallowing Space, it would never be threatened by the invasion of Outer Beings again.

Perhaps this was why it was called Heaven-Swallowing Space and not the Heaven-Devouring Space... It absorbs to encompass all instead of annihilating to grow stronger.

’Is this the Lord of Chaos’s wish or the will of a greater existence?’ Vaan wondered.

Either way, the expectation was certainly suffocatingly oppressive. It was still uncertain whether he had what it takes to fulfill his destiny and escape the endless cycle of reincarnation.

Furthermore, there was no point in worrying about distant goals at this current stage. Vaan wouldn’t be able to change anything anyway.

After all, with his current level of strength, it could only be a chess piece, not a chess player.

’Beyond True Divinity Realm...’ Vaan thought about the seemingly unreachable level of existence that transcended gods.

Such a level of existence was so difficult that only two beings had been known to reach it in the long history of Chaos: His little brother, the Lord of Chaos, and him, the Lord of the Boundless Seas and Skies.

However, Vaan believed there should be more Beyond True Divinity-level existences, who remained unknown to most denizens of Chaos or had been buried by the passage of time.

After all, there was almost no mention of the creator of Chaos, and any information he could find was only recorded in books. Of course, there was also the possibility that his level was too low to access more detailed information.

Still, that proved there was at least one other Beyond True Divinity-level existence.

However, Vaan had always found it strange that such an incredible figure had faded from the surface of Chaos. Considering the person’s achievement, they should have enjoyed endless glory and worship from all beings of Chaos.

Yet, the most common denizens of Chaos wouldn’t have the slightest clue about such an unfathomable being.

Why did such an incredible figure fade from the surface of Chaos?

Unknowingly, sadness began to fill Vaan’s heart. That person was likely the father of Albion and Varuna.

God knew how much he had suffered and sacrificed to open the path of everlasting life, giving everyone the hope of continuing life beyond the creation and destruction of the universe.

If such a person were still around, Chaos probably wouldn’t be threatened by Outer Beings.

Vaan’s heart burned with strong curiosity. He wanted to pursue the truth, discover the mysteries, and unveil the true events of the distant past.

’I’m still too weak! I need to grow faster and obtain more power! Only then will I have the qualifications to realize these wishes!’ Vaan reaffirmed his resolve. 𝘳ÅΝ𝘖ᛒĚš

A lot of problems would be resolved once he acquired the necessary strength. Once he had the necessary strength, he wouldn’t have to fear the heavens any longer.

If he were above the heavens, he wouldn’t have to stay away from his loved ones!

If he were above the heavens, keeping them close would give them the greatest protection, and not the greatest danger!

Vaan’s heart cooled after reaffirming his resolve and purpose.

People were waiting for his return. He couldn’t play around in the Myriad Sea God Palace. Even if he was a womanizer, and there were many beauties in the Holy Land, he couldn’t afford to be distracted and delay his progress.

Vaan somewhat regretted his choice to give up the special privileges of a Noble Being. He saw himself as a person of unparalleled intelligence, yet he still made a stupid choice.

Even if he had absolute confidence, sheer arrogance ran parallel.

Other geniuses might need the hard path to temper themselves after growing too fast, but he was not like other geniuses. He had a wealth of past-life memories and sufferings he could draw upon for self-tempering.

Nevertheless, since he had already chosen this path, he should walk it resolutely.

’They say that even the greatest of geniuses would take a thousand years to reach True Divinity. However, one thousand years is too long!’ Vaan thought.

Three years!

Vaan set himself an extreme goal of three years to achieve True Divinity!

As if the world itself were bearing witness to Vaan’s determination to ascend to the peak again, the seawater began to stir with ripples in response. It almost seemed like the world was expressing its joy and anticipation.

No matter the location in the Holy Land, every body of seawater rippled inexplicably. Seeing such an unprecedented phenomenon, even the True Divinities were alarmed.
