Chapter 2463: If You Have Something to Say, Just Say It

Nicholas Fuller reluctantly turned his head: "Are you all leaving?"

Amadeus Yancey poured him water and placed it on the bedside table, with a gentle elegance: "I’ll come to see you another day."

Nicholas Fuller looked at him, then at the girl standing there, her fatigue hard to hide, and finally nodded: "Alright, you two go ahead."

"We’re leaving." Nathalie Quinlan, not good at emotional words, waved her hand and turned to leave.

Nicholas Fuller called out to her again: "Nathalie, wait a minute."

Nathalie stopped, patiently turned her head, her dark eyes watching him.

Seeing her demeanor, Nicholas Fuller couldn’t help but advise: "Don’t take what Mrs. Lordon said to heart. And regarding the research institute, if you don’t have time, let Orson Saban handle it for you. If he can’t make a decision, ask him to delay it until I’m out of the hospital."

"Don’t shoulder it all by yourself."

After all, Nathalie is just a 20-year-old.

At this age, he himself knew nothing, entirely reliant on others for support.

Nicholas Fuller looked at the resolute expression in the girl’s eyes, feeling a slight pang of emotion.

At just twenty, Nathalie endured so much...

Nathalie looked at him deeply, dropped her gaze and nodded slightly: "Got it."

Only then did Nicholas Fuller smile and waved at them: "Hurry, go."

Outside the hospital.

Nathalie had just left Nicholas Fuller’s room when Amadeus Yancey said to her: "Wait for me at the corner, I’ll go get the car."

"Okay." The girl had no objections.

So he took the car keys and went to the parking lot to get the car.

As soon as he left, a voice came from behind Nathalie: "Nathalie."

She turned around to see Mrs. Lordon, whom she had met in Nicholas Fuller’s room, waiting outside for some time.

Accompanying Mrs. Lordon was a familiar face, Marco Lordon.

Compared to the last time she saw him, Marco Lordon appeared much more dejected, his entire demeanor bleak, even his gaze became timid and shifty.

As Nathalie watched the two approaching her, her eyes grew cold. She forced down the irritation and spoke with politeness: "What do you need?"

Mrs. Lordon, just like last time, immediately invited: "There’s a place to sit over there, Nathalie, why don’t we go there, order some water and talk?"

She assumed Nathalie wouldn’t refuse an elder’s invitation.

Who knew the girl would refuse so abruptly: "My friend is about to drive over. If you have something to say, just say it."

Mrs. Lordon felt slapped in the face, her expression awkward, and she forced down her displeasure, her eyelid twitching, she squeezed out a slight smile, warmly saying: "Alright... I’ll be direct then. Nathalie, you’re close to Khendy Lordon, right? Marco went to find you last time and Khendy was very upset, he called and lectured Marco, and I’ve given him a good lesson these past few days as well..."

Nathalie felt impatient, barely suppressing the annoyance at the corners of her eyes, looked at her and spoke again: "Mrs. Lordon, just say what you have to say."

Mrs. Lordon’s face turned even more awkward, slightly flushed, and she tolerated it after some thought: "I hope you can talk to Khendy and tell him that Marco didn’t say anything when he found you, so Khendy won’t stay mad at the family."

Nathalie already knew Mrs. Lordon wouldn’t come to Nicholas Fuller for no reason, and sure enough, she heard the request.

She slightly raised her chin, revealing a striking face under the duckbill cap. Her eyes were slightly angled upwards, with long eye tails, so when she stared at someone, it always carried a sharpness and a sense of pressure!
