The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 2361: Nathalie Finally Found What She Was Looking For

  • Next Chapter

Nathalie Quinlan initially couldn’t find any clues related to Lynette Kingsley until she flipped through a laboratory notebook and found a record sheet of an experimental project that Lynette had left in a layered page.

Nathalie pulled out that page from the notebook, held it up in the air, and scrutinized it through the incandescent light in the file room.

This experimental record sheet was very similar to the page Nicholas Fuller had shown her, except the recorded time was different.

When looking at the two sheets of paper separately, they seemed like ordinary, useless pre-experiment application records.

Nathalie squinted her eyes slightly against the light for a long time and finally realized where the place she found odd from the first glance was!

The seemingly ordinary numbers and characters on the form combined to form - Morse Code!

And she had seen this style of Morse Code once before.

It was exactly the same as the Morse Code Lynette Kingsley had left in the airplane’s black box that Amadeus Yancey retrieved for her once.

... This was a clue intentionally left by Lynette Kingsley.

She probably knew long before that someone would clean up all traces she left in The First Research Institute, so she deliberately hid this seemingly inconspicuous daily experimental record sheet in the notebook in the file room, waiting for the day it would be discovered.

Because the content on this was encrypted, ordinary people couldn’t understand it at all.

Lynette Kingsley wasn’t afraid of being discovered.

Ordinary people who found this sheet would only think it was an overlooked experimental application form from someone else.

Realizing this, Nathalie immediately furrowed the corners of her eyes, carefully placed this folded page containing the experimental application form inside, and gravely put it in her bag, also pulling up the black single shoulder bag’s zipper along with it.

At this moment, Amadeus Yancey’s phone call came in.

Nathalie caught sight of the phone screen lighting up on the table and neatly organized the information on the desk beside her, then picked up the phone to answer: "Hello."

"Still busy?" The man’s voice was alluring.

Nathalie distractedly picked up the bag: "Hmm, I’m almost done."

Amadeus Yancey seemed to ponder for a moment, then asked her: "Shania Yancey wants to invite you to dinner. Will you go?"

Shania... Who is she?

Nathalie’s mind was full of thoughts about the Morse Code that Lynette Kingsley left behind. Hearing him mention a name suddenly, she thought for a while before remembering who he was talking about. She replied in a disinterested tone: "She wants to invite me to dinner?"

Amadeus Yancey seemed to see the impatience lingering in the girl’s brows through the phone, cold and irritated, yet she still asked him a question with patience.

His lips involuntarily curled up into a lazy smile: "Yes. The old man personally spoke up for her, guessing that she lost too much face last time and wants to smooth things over with you to improve relations."

"Hmm." Nathalie replied absent-mindedly, not really processing much, her mind thinking about other things.

"By the way, the cooperation between the Yancey Family and the Chamber of Commerce has been settled. The old man is quite happy about it, and he mentioned several times to thank you." He teased in a low, indirect tone: "Nathalie the Goddess, it seems everyone sees me as steadily supporting your glory..."

Nathalie finally lifted her eyelids and heard what he said, glancing at the sky outside, preparing to head out. After a pause, she responded: "Tell them if you reveal your identity no one will think you’re living off me."

She referred to Amadeus Yancey’s identity as the leader of the Yandor Sect in Inderia.
