THE SUPREME NECROMANCER: SYSTEM FORCED DUAL CULTIVATION TO LEVEL UP
Chapter 120 The Necromancer’s Legion P1
Chapter 120: 120 The Necromancer’s Legion P1
120 The Necromancer’s Legion P1
The enormous bone dragon roared across the sky above the mountain range and slowly descended until it stopped exactly over the northern battlefield.
The dragon’s gigantic feet touched the ground in a thunderous landing, destroying the earth beneath its enormous bone feet and sending rocks, corpses, and dust scattering around.
The roar that came from its throat echoed throughout the entire mountain.
Its blue wings, covered in flames, remained partially spread, covering an enormous area while the bluish flames between its ribs illuminated the blood-covered battlefield.
This scene made everything stop.
The Medusas who were still fighting quickly lowered their weapons.
The Beastmen interrupted their attacks, and the Lizardmen stopped advancing.
Even the cultivators at the tenth level remained motionless, staring at the creature that had just appeared before them.
At the center of that scene stood Yun Che above his dragon, his white mask completely covering his face and his black clothes covering his body.
Beside him was Ariselle.
The Queen of the Medusas remained motionless atop the enormous bone dragon, her long green serpentine hair moving slowly with the wind, while the small snakes attached to her hair watched the battlefield with restless movements.
The dragon roared toward the sky one last time and revealed the body of a little girl, Andarna, the sixth Knight of the Apocalypse in her human form.
The little girl stood close to Yun Che, clinging to his clothes.
Now that they were on the ground beside Yun Che, Ariselle slowly closed her eyes, expanding her divine sense enhanced by her new cultivation realm.
She did not need to ask what was happening on the different battlefields. Her profound spiritual energy silently spread out.
The perception of a cultivator in the True Profound Realm was completely different from that of any cultivator in the Profound Nascence Realm.
The energy traveled through the mountains, passing through the destroyed formations, crossing the defensive positions, and reaching the north.
Then the south, the east, and finally the west.
Ariselle felt everything.
The smell of blood.
The profound spiritual energies of those who were still fighting.
She felt the bodies of those who no longer possessed any spiritual energy and the silence left behind by the deaths of her fellow Medusas.
Her eyes remained closed for only a moment.
On the northern battlefield, only approximately two hundred Medusas were still alive.
Thousands had fallen.
In the south, around five hundred were still alive, although many were injured and unable to continue fighting for much longer.
In the east, just over four hundred were still resisting.
As for the west, no one remained.
There was no presence of any living Medusa.
No known spiritual energy.
No warrior could be sensed there.
Only corpses and more corpses.
Ariselle slowly opened her eyes.
Her expression remained motionless for several seconds before her eyes found Vaelra.
The Elder was covered in blood. Her sword remained firmly in her hand, although her body clearly showed the price of the battle she had fought.
Beside her, Elyra was no longer there.
The young tenth-level cultivator was dead.
Only her lifeless corpse remained there.
In the south, Nysara had also fallen, and Kaelia, one of the three new cultivators who were supposed to represent the future of the Medusas, was also dead.
In the east, Lyssara remained alive.
Elder Thesira continued fighting.
But Mirevra...
Mirevra had also died.
In the west, no Medusa remained alive.
A true massacre had taken place on that battlefield.
Two of the four Elders had fallen, and two of the three new tenth-level cultivators had fallen.
Thousands of ordinary warriors had lost their lives.
Ariselle remained thoughtful.
The fierce light in her green eyes slowly faded as two silent tears appeared and ran down her beautiful cheeks.
They silently descended across the Queen’s face.
She did not cry loudly.
There was no scream of rage or fury.
Only two tears.
Yun Che looked at her, not knowing how to comfort her.
He simply remained present, making it clear that he was by her side, that whatever happened, he would always remain beside her.
He did not try to comfort her.
He did not try to say that it was over.
He did not try to stop her pain.
He simply remained beside her.
Ariselle lowered her head slightly.
The small snakes in her hair also remained almost motionless.
During that moment, she was not the Queen of the Medusas.
She was simply a woman who had just discovered that thousands of her people had died.
Yun Che remained silent beside her.
He knew that some pain did not need words.
The time that seemed frozen from the Queen’s perspective began to move again.
Finally, Ariselle raised one hand and slowly wiped the tears from her own face.
Her fingers remained against her skin for several seconds.
Only then did she raise her eyes, revealing her green pupils, which had changed.
The sadness was still there.
But now there was something else.
Anger.
A cold, deep, silent, and extremely murderous anger.
Everyone present looked at the three who had just arrived.
Gorvak was the first to speak.
The enormous bear-like Beastman slowly tightened his grip around the handle of his huge hammer.
A smile appeared on his bestial face.
"Hmph. The Queen of the Medusas has finally decided to show herself after hiding all this time."
He looked at Ariselle.
"I was beginning to think that the famous Queen of the Medusas had fled with her tail between her legs. How laughable."
Khoran let out a laugh.
"Perhaps she realized that she couldn’t protect her people and decided to save her own skin, but regret struck her, and she decided to return."
Zarek remained motionless, his heavy armor covered in blood and dust.
He turned his eyes toward Yun Che.
"Is that the necromancer? The one who single-handedly destroyed a logistics base and killed one of ours at the tenth level of the Profound Nascence Realm?"
Gorvak looked at him.
"Yes. His appearance matches the description from our intelligence. There’s no way we’re mistaken. It’s him."
Zarek smiled.
"So he really came. That’s good. This way, we won’t have to waste time searching for him later to take our revenge."
