"The boss is right. This is the Origin Secret Realm, so we don’t need to worry about retaliation," the Armored Mage chimed in, once again swinging his Light Blade Giant Axe in a wide arc toward Xi Yueyao.

The other two Mages no longer hesitated, loosing a volley of Secret Techniques and arrows at Xi Yueyao.

"Hmph, I’m not that easy to mess with." Xi Yueyao sneered, her whip a blur of motion. Under her [Rampant Lash], all the incoming Secret Techniques and arrows were torn to shreds.

Of course, the four-person team wasn’t to be trifled with either. Each member had a role, and they coordinated with practiced, seamless teamwork.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

In the basin suffused with golden light, Xi Yueyao was like an agile bird, weaving between arrows and blasts of energy, effortlessly fending off the four-person siege.

After a few exchanges, the four-person team was utterly shocked by Xi Yueyao’s strength.

The Armored Mage and the Bow and Arrow Mage also acted without hesitation. The Light Blade Giant Axe slammed down on the stone prison, and a dense rain of arrows hammered down from above.

Xi Yueyao, however, just watched them with a playful expression, her beautiful eyes filled with disdain. "You dare to act so arrogant in front of me with just this little bit of skill?"

"Cut the crap and take this!" the captain snorted. A black sword shadow condensed from Dark Force whistled toward her. "Let me show you what a real Dark Force Mage can do—!"

"Tch, your Dark Force is a far cry from my family’s medicine seller," Xi Yueyao scoffed, sweeping her whip horizontally. A wave of dark red energy, like a roiling flame, rushed toward the captain.

"Ridiculous. No matter how high your Dark Force damage is, you can’t block materialized Dark Force."

As he spoke, three black longswords materialized behind him and shot forward like flying swords.

The energy from her whip collapsed and dissipated the moment it collided with them. Fortunately, Xi Yueyao’s Secret Technique also contained strength-based damage, so the blast wasn’t completely overwhelmed, though its power was diminished.

But the black flying swords continued onward, seemingly unstoppable, aiming for three of Xi Yueyao’s vital points.

Although Xi Yueyao’s footwork was excellent, she couldn’t evade the pincer attack of all three flying swords and could only manage to dodge two of them.
