The Lingshan Project was initiated by several Bodhisattvas who currently hold authority in the Buddhism School, and their idea originated from the Heavenly Court, or more precisely, from the Longevity Taoist Monarch Pei Xuanjing.

If someone were to ask, who was the biggest winner in the War of Sealing Gods back then?

Some might say it was the human race, some might say the Heavenly Court, some might say it belonged to the many Gods, some might say it belonged to several Imperial Honors, and some might say to the many Taoist Monarchs.

But in the eyes of many Taoist Monarchs, even though they gained immense benefits from the War of Sealing Gods back then, there is no doubt that the biggest winner, the one who gained the most benefits, was the Longevity Taoist Monarch Pei Xuanjing.

Ordinary cultivators can’t understand, but these Taoist Monarchs watched with their own eyes how this Longevity Taoist Monarch gradually acquired the authority of the Divine Land World, grasping numerous authorities in his own hands.

Why is the Longevity Taoist Monarch considered the strongest among Taoist Monarchs? It’s not because of creating the five immortal paths of Heaven, Earth, Man, God, and Ghost, nor as a Pioneer of future paths, but because he intimidated all the Taoist Monarchs with his powerful combat capabilities.

Especially when the Nether Yin Department was being established, it seemed like people from the Witch Deity Teaching initiated this matter, and that Longevity Taoist Monarch made sacrifices, merging his painstakingly developed Longevity World into the Divine Land World, opening the reincarnation for all living beings.

Yet, with this Nether Yin Department merging into the Divine Land World, it allowed the Divine Land World to take a massive step forward on the path of ascension, but more so allowed him to gain numerous Heavenly Authority in the Divine Land World, establishing his invincible position.

To create a world, and in that world to be revered as ancestor, is almost like being the incarnation of the Great Tao, with every move being the heavenly will, everything follows one’s desires; this is something an Earth Immortal True Immortal can achieve on the Earth Immortal Path.

However, even if an Earth Immortal expert opens up a Cave Heaven Blessed Land and gradually promotes it to a Small Thousand World to become a True Immortal, in the Chaotic Void Heavens and Seas, this Small Thousand World is extremely fragile and can’t resist significant risks.

And following this, wanting to escalate the Small Thousand World step by step, perhaps ascending to a Medium Thousand World is relatively easy, but ascending to a Great Thousand World, especially a powerful one, is incredibly difficult.

Even today, the Divine Land World has absorbed the essence of countless worlds, yet it remains at the peak of the Medium Thousand World, unable to ascend to a Great Thousand World.

Indeed, this is partly because of how vast the Divine Land World encompasses, with a multitude of Great Taos and profound foundation, but from another aspect, it proves the challenges of ascending to a Great Thousand World.

Especially for some Earth Immortal Path experts whose path to True Immortal involved opportunistic shortcuts, their Small Thousand Worlds did not ascend through their inherent foundations but by merging the Spirit Realm Cave Heaven and discovered Small Thousand Worlds, seizing Small Thousand World authority to ascend.

Many Taoist Monarchs believe Pei Xuanjing’s strength’s qualitative change wasn’t during the War of Sealing Gods, but there were two significant nodes: one was after he led the construction of the Heavenly Court’s structure post the Conferred God War; the other, was when he merged his own Small Thousand World into the Divine Land World, opening the Nether Yin Department, thus establishing his invincibility.

The most compelling evidence is that before and after the War of Sealing Gods, everyone was a True Immortal, and even if there were differences, they were not insurmountable. Even as the main handler of the War of Sealing Gods, Pei Xuanjing held just as much Heavenly Authority as other Taoist Monarchs.

Only after the War of Sealing Gods, in shaping the Heavenly Court’s structure, dividing the Nine Heavens, and opening the Nether Yin Department, did he gain more authority, which can be compared to those Earth Immortals who achieved True Immortal by merging Spirit Realm Cave Heaven into the Small Thousand World; thus, the Divine Land World seemed like his creation, allowing him to gain so much authority.

For these Taoist Monarchs, they believe that in terms of talent and perception, they are no less than Pei Xuanjing. Since he could achieve this step, they too could emulate.

For those who have already achieved True Immortal, if they purely want to create a Small Thousand World to achieve the Earth Immortal Path, it’s not difficult. After all, resources that are extremely challenging for ordinary cultivators are nothing for a True Immortal.

Similarly, for these Taoist Monarchs, creating a Small Thousand World, or even promoting it to a Medium Thousand World is not a big deal, but the key is how to gain recognition from the Divine Land World and obtain more Heavenly Authority.

This isn’t just about merging one’s own Small Thousand World into the Divine Land World; at least some Taoist Monarchs have proven that it doesn’t have much significance. Even if it results in obtaining some Heavenly Authority, it is a far cry from their expectations.

These Taoist Monarchs understand that what Pei Xuanjing did was to seize the initiative; after all, he merged not only a Small Thousand World but also the Long-Life World, opening the Nether Yin Department and perfecting the heavenly structure, which is most important.

So how can they continue to perfect the heavenly structure?

There are almost only two paths before them: One is to continue adding increments to the current structure of the Divine Land World, making the Divine Land World stronger, even making the Divine Land World transform in nature due to the worlds they integrate, thus gaining recognition from the will of heaven and earth.

The other is simple: to alter the current heavenly structure, at least to replace part of the foundational structure of the present, a trick of substitution.
