His reply astonished the three of them.

“You have root from this universe? How could that be? We never found any sign that you had root from this universe,” the Grand Elder asked in a surprised voice.

Inside one of the rooms of a luxurious inn, Pei Lang looked at the situation outside with a trembling gaze. He could see the resistance group taking over the city.

As he watched the commotion outside, a knock suddenly came from the door of his room.

He quickly opened the door, thinking it was one of the inn’s staff members.

However, the moment he opened the door, he saw two figures, a man and a woman. The man was handsome, while the woman was exceptionally beautiful and charming in her elegant dress.

He had never seen either of them before, which made him confused.

The man and the woman raised their eyebrows when they saw him. Then the man smiled at him.
