The Plant Master Becomes A Mute Sub-Beast: Farming And Laying Eggs
Chapter 234: Each With a Different Color
Kaelen spent a night reorganizing the related documents, finally concluding:
Rylan was definitely related to that Evil God, it was highly likely he had become the next servant of the Evil God.
And the goal of Rylan and the Head Divine Attendant was exactly the people with Divine Energy.
He carried his panda eyes to find the two Sages, asking straightforwardly as soon as he saw them:
"Living for so many years, have you ever heard of Divine Energy? Do you know if currently, besides outsiders like us, there are any other Divine Energy users on the Eastern continent?"
Solomon immediately answered: "We naturally know. People without Martial power who often have strange phenomena appearing around them, we call them ’Mandate Bearers’. However, the number of such people is not many, moreover from the past until now none of us knew how to help them develop themselves, therefore they were all short-lived."
Valmot continued: "Our tribe two hundred years ago also had a child who could transform his horns into an extremely hard substance, able to ram through half a mountain cliff without a single scratch. However, because there was no suitable cultivation technique, his lifespan only stopped at two hundred years."
Kaelen pursed his lips, turned his head and told Sane: "You tell Aaron to immediately withdraw his people, we cannot provoke that group of people. I will write a letter, you give the Martial God Shrine’s Guest Elder token to him, tell him to personally hand this letter to the Inspector Envoy."
He quickly ran back to the tent to urgently write a letter, accompanied by his analysis of the Temple’s and the God of Decay’s conspiracies. After finishing writing, he immediately gave it to Sane, then buried his head in researching the teleportation array.
Sane handed the letter and token to Aaron, instructing him to be extremely careful. Aaron nodded solemnly, anxiety flashing in his eyes: "Chief, will the Martial God Shrine turn into a second Temple?"
Sane spoke in a deep voice: "I don’t know, that is why I told you to be extremely careful. Edward said this Evil God used mental energy to manipulate people’s psychology, if you see anything wrong immediately find a way to escape."
It had been ten days, he was afraid someone among the people in the Martial God Shrine had been hit by the charm technique. This time Aaron going to deliver the news had up to six parts danger, if possible, he truly did not want Aaron to go there.
Aaron gripped the letter tightly in his hand, speaking resolutely: "Chief, I will use a clone to scout first, I will not personally go in."
Clones helped Aaron achieve triple the cultivation benefits, but in return, every time a clone was smashed he would also receive a similar backlash. Therefore, unless it was a desperate situation, Aaron always restricted using his Divine Energy.
Sane patted his shoulder, emphasizing: "Prioritize your own safety first, we wait for you to return."
Aaron pounded his fist on his chest, nodding forcefully.
Sane watched Aaron and Evan’s figures leave, until he could no longer see their figures, he then returned to the forbidden area.
The following days they began a state of frantic research, even the two Sages only slept four hours a day. On the fifteenth day after Aaron left, they finally successfully recreated the first anchor line.
By the thirtieth day, they had successfully recreated all three lines, also reinforcing an additional array layer overwritten on it, using magic stones and a portion of Sane’s and Kaelen’s soul power to act as the anchor at this side’s array.
The array transformed from one-way to two-way, limiting teleportation to thirty round trips and a number of one thousand people for each trip.
Sane was still fine, but Kaelen’s complexion was pale white, he felt his lower abdomen transmitting waves of sharp pain. Initially, it was just mild pain like wanting to defecate, but later on it became more painful.
"How are you? I will take you back to find Draven." Sane supported Kaelen heartbrokenly, letting him lean into his embrace.
Kaelen was in so much pain his face turned pale white, unable to speak a word.
Ryder, who had woken up ten days ago, twitched his nose sniffing the air, then used his two hands to cover his nose. He stared intently at his two fathers, then pointed at Kaelen’s feet, shouting:
"Papa, Papa is a grown-up yet still wets his pants!"
Everyone was immediately stunned. Old Sage Solomon was sharp-eyed and looked down at the liquid gradually pooling on the ground, his mouth slightly opening. Immediately after, he shouted loudly:
"Your mother, pregnant yet you didn’t know?! What wetting pants, that is amniotic fluid! He is about to give birth!!!"
Sane’s whole body staggered slightly, his hand supporting Kaelen trembling slightly. His body reacted even before his brain. He immediately transformed into his beast form, grabbed his mate in his mouth, and dashed wildly towards the center of the tribe.
Everyone only saw a dark purple streak and a sound of tearing wind sweeping past, the person had disappeared on the spot.
Ryder leaned close to Finnick’s ear:
"Hey, it seems Daddy grew wings, right?"
Finnick was still dazedly gaping, slowly shaking his head: "I don’t know." How could the boy still have the mind to notice whether Daddy had grown wings or not, his soul was still hanging in the sky because he was about to have another younger brother...
Oh wait, it might not be just one, right?
The truth was Finnick guessed right...
Sane crashed and ruined four newly built brick houses, knocking over at least twenty people tumbling headfirst before reaching the medical room. Just placing his mate down on the bed, Sane already roared:
"Draven! Draven! Hurry up hurry up! About to give birth!!!"
Draven was interrupted right at the most important moment, the furnace exploded with a boom, smoking him into a pitch-black Rabbit. He staggered crawling out from the rubble, running fast to the medical room, because he recognized this tragic roar like a slaughtered pig belonged to his family’s Chief.
Just arriving at the door, he was wrapped by a giant snake tail and dragged inside.
Looking at Kaelen hugging his belly in pain until his face turned pale on the bed, then looking at the mess under his feet, Draven immediately understood who was about to give birth. He immediately shouted loudly:
"Everyone, prepare to deliver the baby quickly!!! Chief, you quickly pull all the magic stones and magic cores out here, call all the Divine Energy Warriors to come support if necessary!"
Draven still hadn’t forgotten the Lord Priest’s terrifying first time giving birth.
The healers in the Golden Bull tribe and the White Elephant tribe immediately scattered, some boiling water, some cutting cloth, some mixing medicine. The atmosphere instantly became extremely tense.
When Finnick and Ryder along with the two old men returned to the place, they already felt a massive amount of spiritual energy from all eight directions surging and flowing towards this place. Solomon looked up at the sky, the wind blowing his beard flying. He reached out a hand to press it down, blinking his eyes and saying:
"When you brats were born it was also like this huh?"
Finnick stroked his chin: "I heard the people in the tribe say, when Papa gave birth to us three brothers he had a premature birth, almost resulting in four deaths. The magic cores at that time were all used up, the Divine Energy Warrior uncles even supported by transmitting Magical Energy to Papa, after that Papa then safely gave birth to us."
What Finnick didn’t know was that the reason the three of them needed so much Magical Energy from adults was because the spiritual energy around the tribe was too thin, leading to a dangerous situation for both the adult and the fetuses. But the spiritual energy in the Eastern continent was several times denser than the Southern continent, moreover there was a large amount of magic stones from Ryder’s space, this time Kaelen giving birth went extremely smoothly.
Looking at the two eggs, one bright red, one bright yellow lying neatly in the nest, the whole family fell into deep thought. Finnick scratched his head:
"Why does our family have each person a different color like this? These two later on will be one yellow one red? Leopards or snakes? Or a Sub-Beast like Oliver?"
Edward had found a method to temporarily parasitize on a spiritual herb, swaying the leaf showing he had the same question as Finnick. Ryder’s one blue one yellow eyes swept over the two eggs, then he tilted his head:
"I think it is not the outside color. My shell was bright green but I am still a leopard with normal fur color. I think it is related to everyone’s spiritual body color."
Finnick and Edward fell into deep thought slightly, a moment later exclaiming in admiration: "Ryder is truly smart, even able to think of that!"
Sane had just received a ’baptism’ barrage from Draven, when carrying the recovery potion returning to the delivery room door he met Siley hovering outside as if hesitating. He stepped forward and asked:
"What’s wrong?"
Siley seeing Sane immediately rejoiced, stepping forward lifting the cloth bag in his hand up. Sane looked down, immediately meeting a pair of round purple eyes.
"Ya ya..."
The baby in the bag stretched out chubby fists like lotus roots waving around, his mouth babbling calling his Daddy. Sane’s heart softened, his eye sockets stinging, taking the cloth sling from Siley’s embrace. He stretched out one finger poking the baby’s cheek, Oliver immediately used two hands to grip it tightly, ya ya non-stop.
Sane smiled asking Siley: "When did the boy break out of the shell?"
Siley scratched his head: "Since Priest Kaelen started giving birth. At that time I was still wearing the egg on my chest, didn’t know when the boy broke out of the shell. Only when I heard crunching chewing sounds, looking down I already saw the boy gnawing his own eggshell."
At that time Siley was scared his face turned ashen, hurriedly covering the bag opening and slipping away from the crowd. Oliver breaking out of the shell always remained in the Half-Snake state, if letting everyone see it would truly not be very good. Sane nodded giving Siley a compliment for his sharpness.
"Thank you. I’ll take the boy in to meet Papa and his brothers."
Siley nodded, saying you’re welcome then bidding farewell to Sane, going to do his own work.
"Ya ya..."
Baby Oliver in his Daddy’s embrace felt Siley leaving, slightly tilting his tender neck wanting to turn out to look. Unfortunately the boy just broke out of the shell, his neck bones were still weak so he couldn’t lift his head up.
"Hmph!" Sane snorted coldly, glaring and scolding: "You boy crazy for boys, see if you’ll sell yourself again sometime!"
Baby Oliver immediately grabbed his Daddy’s hand, grinning widely. Towards his precious son, Sane could not be angry for more than a minute. He helplessly sighed, scolding affectionately once, then hugged the boy into the delivery room.
This birth was full-term, the spiritual energy was abundant plus there was good medicine, Kaelen’s complexion was much rosier compared to the first birth. He saw Sane carrying the cloth sling stepping in, smiled and said:
"Got scolded by Draven again?"
Sane nodded, saying guiltily: "I should have thought of the possibility that you were pregnant when seeing your body change rather than thinking you had gained weight."
Kaelen shook his head: "It’s not your fault, even I myself didn’t know I was pregnant... Ah?"
Kaelen hadn’t finished speaking, Sane had brought the cloth sling beside him. The beautiful baby inside immediately grinned widely at Kaelen, his mouth even ya ya twice. Finnick and Ryder along with Edward heard the noise, immediately ran closer, saying in surprise:
"Ah. Oliver broke out of the shell!"
