Han Wu returned to his divine realm with the Rulebreaker Stone in hand and summoned every powerful unit under his command.

Steely, Dark Locust, the Pride Dark Tyrannosprite King, the Wrath War Tyrannosprite King, the five newly born Mythic Titans, the Origin of Mutation, V piloting the Supreme Power, and a host of Great Dragons arrived. These were his elite forces, the backbone of his divine realm.

When Han Wu couldn’t make a decision, they had every right to step forward and advise him. The question was simple: Who did they think was the best option to use the new Rulebreaker Stone and ascend as the next God King after Dark Locust?

Every powerful unit present showed interest. A Divine Jurisdiction was an incredibly potent force. Obtaining one meant a massive leap in strength. No living creature would refuse that kind of power.

However, there was only one Rulebreaker Stone. It had to go to whoever would benefit Han Wu the most.

The Pride Dark Tyrannosprite King was the first to voluntarily give up its chance.

Its reasoning was sound. As a dark attribute creature, the Jurisdiction best suited for it was naturally the Dark Jurisdiction. If it chose to ascend to a God King, the Divine Civilization’s Will would force it into a confrontation with the existing Dark God King, Dark Locust.

Under the Divine Civilization’s rules, only one God King could hold any given Jurisdiction. Dark Locust already held the title of Dark God King, which effectively blocked every other dark attribute unit in Han Wu’s divine realm from claiming it.

The Wrath War Tyrannosprite King also bowed out immediately after. Its reasoning was even more straightforward. Anything the Pride Dark Tyrannosprite King didn’t want, it didn’t want either. It insisted on staying even with its counterpart.

Han Wu understood them both. Neither was native to the Divine Civilization, so while ascending into a God King would be great, not ascending wouldn’t hurt them much either.

The Black Dragon King Alpheus withdrew next for the same reason. Dark Locust had blocked its path. Unless another route to a God King could be found for dark attribute units, Alpheus had no viable option.

Steely, Fire Dragon King Esquiem, Gold Dragon King Smog, and several others also withdrew one after another. While Dark Locust wasn’t an issue for them, the Jurisdictions they’d been developing already had corresponding God Kings in the Divine Civilization. Ascending would trigger a mandatory divine war.

Han Wu didn’t fear divine wars, but his plans to head to the Ancient Dragon Clan meant he didn’t have time for one, so they chose to postpone. Surprisingly, the Rulebreaker Stone was quickly becoming a hot potato that nobody wanted.

That was when Silver Dragon King Erebard stepped forward and volunteered.

Erebard had the most diverse attributes among Han Wu’s Great Dragons. It wielded water, fire, earth, and wind. Through those four elements, it had developed a Chaos Jurisdiction embryo. Erebard had studied the Chaos Jurisdiction extensively in its previous life, so mastering the embryo would be trivial.

Moreover, Erebard ascending into a God King would bring Han Wu multiple benefits.

First, Han Wu would gain a God King fighter. Second, he was about to visit the Ancient Dragon Clan. Bringing a God King Great Dragon would absolutely win him favor. Third, Erebard would claim the title of Chaos God King, which had once belonged to the ancestors of the Chaos Clan.

The Chaos Clan had since abandoned that title, preferring to combine multiple Elemental Jurisdictions into a stronger hybrid Chaos Energy, leaving the Chaos God King seat vacant. For Erebard to claim it would be a slap in the Chaos Clan’s face.

With all those advantages in mind, Han Wu did not hesitate to approve Erebard’s request.

Erebard didn’t disappoint. With the Rulebreaker Stone, it took only two months in the divine realm to develop its Chaos Jurisdiction embryo to 100% and ascend into the Chaos God King under the Divine Civilization’s Will.

The phenomenon blanketed Han Wu’s dormitory once again. Students and staff at Imperial College sensed the ascension of a God King and rushed over. They stood there dumbfounded.

“Hold on, is Han Wu ascending to God King again? Didn’t he just ascend recently?”

“You’re behind on the news. I have insider info. His unit became the Dark God King last time, not Han Wu.”

“Han Wu’s terrifying. His unit is already a God King while I’m still stuck as a Major God. My self-esteem can’t take this.”

“At least you’ve reached Major God. I’m still a God. I feel like trash compared to him.”

“What’s this aura? I think I sense Chaos Energy.”

“Chaos Energy? Does that mean Han Wu’s ascending to Chaos God King? Doesn’t the reclusive Chaos Clan hold that title?”

“Ahem. Colleagues, I didn’t sense anything or hear anything. Pretend I was never here,” one Major God lecturer announced before hastily departing.

The rest quickly caught on. The Chaos Clan were reclusive, but they’d been causing trouble lately and acting arrogant about it. Getting tangled up with them meant losing Divine Essence at best and dying at worst.

“Hello? What?” Another God lecturer pretended to be on their communicator. “My pet sow’s having a difficult birth back home. Wait for me, I’m going to cheer her on!”

“Mom, I suddenly miss my mama. Goodbye!” One student bolted.

Soon, the area outside Han Wu’s dormitory fell silent. Even the birds in the sky chose to fly around it.

Erebard’s understanding of Chaos Energy deepened after receiving the energy from the Divine Civilization’s Will. Its body grew more formidable, and its strength broke through to Subcosm rank.

The combination of the domineering Chaos Jurisdiction with its innate advantages of a Great Dragon allowed the Subcosm Erebard to hold its own against Mesocosm opponents for short periods of time.

Erebard had become the strongest unit in Han Wu’s roster. Han Wu felt far more confident about the upcoming visit to the Ancient Dragon Clan with a Great Dragon God King at his side.

“All Great Dragons, follow my lead. We’re visiting the Ancient Dragon Clan!” Han Wu ordered.

Gathering his Great Dragons, he opened a teleportation gate to the Ancient Dragon Clan's provided coordinates and stepped through.

Han Wu and his Great Dragons appeared outside the Ancient Dragon Clan’s hidden realm.
