Two months of secluded comprehension meant Imperial College’s winter break had ended by the time he emerged. It was now the second half of his third year.

The first thing Han Wu did was contact Xu Hai and the others to let them know he was safe. Qin Shuang, Jing Jing, Sun Qingnian, and Xiang Meng rushed over to celebrate his breakthrough.

During the gathering, Xiang Meng’s trio expressed interest in seeing the Void Jurisdiction’s power. Han Wu didn’t hide it and simply told the trio to attack him with everything they had.

They used their Three as One technique, combining their energy into a massive blast aimed at Han Wu. Han Wu simply tossed out a ball of Void Energy in response. It absorbed and neutralized the entire attack.

Everyone gained a deep appreciation for the Void Jurisdiction's power after witnessing the nature of its negative energy. It was the natural enemy of all positive energy, and it packed serious destructive force.

This was an undeniably powerful Jurisdiction. It made sense that even someone with Han Wu’s extraordinary talent and resources had needed an immense amount of time to comprehend it.

After the celebration, Xiang Meng’s trio departed. Han Wu asked Qin Shuang, Jing Jing, and Sun Qingnian to stay behind.

He had killed swathes of Elemental Spirits and Chaos Spirits during the exam and collected large quantities of Jurisdiction fragments as a result. Merge had allowed him to then reassemble said fragments into complete Jurisdictions.

There were twelve in total, and all were major, pure-elemental Jurisdictions.

Qin Shuang, Jing Jing, and Sun Qingniang were stunned when Han Wu revealed them.

“Han Wu, where did you get all these complete Jurisdictions?” Qin Shuang asked with some concern. While she trusted Han Wu, seeing this many Jurisdictions appear out of seemingly nowhere still made her nervous.

“From the enemies I killed,” Han Wu explained, “The Elemental Spirits and Chaos Spirits I killed during the final exam dropped lots of Jurisdiction fragments. I picked them all up, then used Merge to piece the fragments back together.”

Qin Shuang relaxed after hearing the explanation.

“A God does as a God pleases. No need to worry,” Jing Jing said, completely unconcerned. She picked up a water-attribute Jurisdiction from the twelve. “My God, I’d like this one. I’ll use it to deepen my understanding of the Soul Jurisdiction and gain something akin to the water attribute.”

“Take it,” Han Wu said generously.

A faint smile appeared on Jing Jing’s pale face.

Sun Qingnian approached to take a closer look. “Han Wu, since you’re offering, I won’t hold back.”

In the end, he picked a wood-attribute Jurisdiction from the remaining eleven. He already had a Jurisdiction embryo that he could develop at his own pace, so he technically didn’t need a wood-attribute Jurisdiction.

Han Wu guessed Sun Qingnian probably just wanted it for health and vitality purposes.

That left Qin Shuang. Her gaze had settled on a purple Lightning Jurisdiction. Although her existing Lightning Jurisdiction wasn’t fully developed yet, absorbing a second one once she finished developing the first would certainly accelerate her progress.

Noticing this, Han Wu picked up the Lightning Jurisdiction and pressed it into Qin Shuang’s hand. “Work hard. Ascend into a God King soon.”

“I will. I’ll become the Lightning God King as fast as I can.” Qin Shuang held up a small fist in determination and shot a challenging look at Jing Jing.

Jing Jing couldn’t be bothered to bicker with her. She turned and headed back to her divine realm to continue researching her lightning attribute skeletons.

Sun Qingnian and Qin Shuang returned to their own divine realms as well to continue developing their respective Jurisdictions.

Han Wu stared at the remaining nine complete Jurisdictions and distributed them among his units. As Han Wu himself had yet to ascend to God King, these units couldn’t either, even if they developed a Jurisdiction to 100%. He also had no more Rulebreaker Stones to get around this restriction.

Nevertheless, opportunity favored the prepared. Han Wu looked forward to the day he ascended to God King and several of his units became God Kings alongside him.

After distributing them, Han Wu received a call from Xu Hai, requesting Han Wu’s presence at his office. The Wisdom God King sensed the increasingly powerful aura around Han Wu and couldn’t help but feel like he was getting old.

Skipping the small talk, he got straight to the point. “Han Wu, do you know who tried to ambush you during the final exam?”

“I can’t think of anyone besides the Chaos Clan who would be capable of summoning that many Elemental Spirits and Chaos Spirits,” Han Wu said directly.

This was a question he had turned over repeatedly in his mind during his seclusion. He was certain of his answer, but he lacked proof. If not for that, he would’ve gone to Wealth God King Zhao Zihong long ago to make him honor his promise and deliver justice.

Xu Hai sighed. “Our investigation points to the Chaos Clan as well. They bribed one of the college’s lecturers to kill you while the Will of that civilization had your powers restricted. The bribed lecturer is already dead in his own divine realm. No concrete evidence was found at the civilization either. It’ll be nearly impossible to take down the Chaos Clan without hard evidence.”

“Sir, I understand,” Han Wu said seriously. “Until there’s solid proof that the Chaos Clan was behind the attempt on my life, I won’t act rashly.”

“Good.” Xu Hai sighed again. “This incident has prompted the college to exempt you from future activities for the remainder of your time here. We don’t want you to get into another situation like this.”

“Thank you, sir.” Han Wu knew that this was the Imperial College’s way of protecting him.

“So what are your plans going forward?”

“Sir, during the Wealth Faction’s auction, I received an invitation from the Ancient Dragon Clan. I’d like to go train with them,” Han Wu openly admitted.

Xu Hai nodded approvingly. “The Ancient Dragon Clan has powerful guardians. The Chaos Clan won’t dare to cause trouble there. You’ll be safer with them.”

With that settled, Xu Hai pulled a gift box from his desk and added, “You took first place in the final exam by an overwhelming margin. This is the college’s reward for your achievement. It also includes compensation for the incident during the exam.”

Han Wu opened the box. Inside was a Rulebreaker Stone! The Imperial College’s final exam couldn’t possibly award something this valuable. The compensation component clearly made up the bulk of it. This was exactly what Han Wu needed.

“Thank you, sir. I thank the college as well,” he said with heartfelt gratitude. With this Rulebreaker Stone, he could create another powerful God King from among his units.

Who should the next God King be?
