The People's God: Sacrificing Trillions to Ascend

Chapter 1056 - Power of the Void Jurisdiction

Quite a few lecturers were keeping an eye on Han Wu’s channel. They watched as thousands of powerful creatures poured into his territory, unable to help but worry for him.

“Good lord, just how many tricks has Han Wu been hiding? He’s breeding units faster than every other student in his year combined!” one of them exclaimed.

Saliya was also watching Han Wu’s channel. As she marveled at his overwhelming strength, she noticed the Wandering Sorcerers lurking in the zone and asked, “Are there supposed to be creatures this powerful among the scheduled invaders?”

The surrounding lecturers followed her gaze and spotted the Wandering Sorcerers activating Spatial Lockdown. Multiple Wandering Sorcerers cast the skill in unison and sealed Han Wu’s territory. The portals could still send creatures in endlessly, but nothing inside the Spatial Lockdown could escape.

“Those are absolutely not the creatures that the college arranged!” one lecturer shouted after pulling up the Wandering Sorcerers’ full stats.

Realizing something was amiss, Saliya hastily used her authority to recall Han Wu. However, no matter her commands, the civilization’s Will didn’t respond. She couldn’t bring him back.

With no choice but to change tactics, she instead tried to warn Han Wu so he could prepare. She still didn’t know the Wandering Sorcerers’ intentions, but their unexpected appearance was undoubtedly bad news.

Saliya picked up the broadcasting device, only to discover it had been blocked outside the sealed space. The signal couldn’t reach Han Wu at all.

This all but confirmed that this was someone’s plot. Their goal was to harm Han Wu during the final exam—perhaps even kill him.

“Hurry, go find the Wisdom God King!” Saliya yelled.

Meanwhile, Han Wu was still fighting off the invading creatures. His Energy Points, treasures, and Sacrifice rewards only grew as the kills piled up.

He extracted all the Sacrifice rewards and merged them to form even more powerful units. As for the treasures, Han Wu similarly screened and merged them before feeding them to suitable units to boost their attack power.

With his powerful units holding the line, Han Wu gradually stabilized his position in Infinite Mode.

That was when he noticed a special invader. It was a spirit made entirely of flame. Flame Spirits were pure elementals and immune to 99% of physical damage. This allowed it to slip past the frontline of Microcosm locusts with ease.

Luckily, the defenses near Han Wu himself weren’t just Microcosm locusts. He had plenty of core race units specializing in elemental attacks. The Nuclear Locusts’ Self Detonation, the War Angels’ light magic, the Umbral Demonesses’ dark magic, and even the Heavenly Dogs’ Moon Eater could all deal massive damage to pure elemental entities.

Strangely enough, killing the Flame Spirit didn’t net Han Wu a Sacrifice reward. There was also no treasure or Energy Points either.

He naturally grew suspicious.

No Sacrifice reward meant the Flame Spirit wasn’t a life form but a construct of pure elements. That was understandable. Even the lack of treasure could be attributed to bad drop rates.

But no Energy Points? That made no sense. The rules clearly stated that killing invaders would yield Energy Points. It felt wrong to kill such a distinctive enemy and get nothing.

One invader giving no Energy Points seemed like a minor issue, but to Han Wu, it felt like a warning. It left him uneasy.

I need to create more and stronger units as fast as possible! Han Wu pushed himself harder.

He rapidly spent every Energy Point on drawing units while extracting every Sacrifice reward available, merging the results to create stronger units.

With the support of his growing army, the first Mythic Titan was born through Merge.

[Mythic Titan: Subcosm life form. Attack method: Physical Blows (area damage). Range: 10,000. Damage: 200,000. Attack interval: 5 seconds.]

[Skill: Power of the Void Jurisdiction. It can release Void Energy that absorbs surrounding energy to deal massive anti-energy damage.]

The moment Han Wu read the Mythic Titan’s stats, he understood that he had cultivated a Mythic Titan carrying the embryo of a Void Jurisdiction.

He had a rough grasp of Void as a concept. If elemental energy, qi, demonic energy, and similar forces were considered as positive energy, then Void Energy was negative energy. Void Energy could absorb positive energy to achieve a state of equilibrium. The impact generated during that process was damaging.

With this in mind, Han Wu ordered the Mythic Titan to unleash its Void Jurisdiction power against the enemies ahead. The Mythic Titan obediently coated its fist in Void Energy and threw a devastating punch downward.

Its fist didn’t actually reach the ground, stopping some distance above, but the Void Jurisdiction’s power rode the shockwave down onto the creatures below.

The invaders’ flesh and energy were consumed as positive energy, feeding the negative energy of the Void Jurisdiction until a state of equilibrium was achieved.

That single punch wiped out ninety percent of the creatures in the blast zone. The surviving ten percent barely clung to life. Some had their limbs partially devoured by the Void.

Han Wu couldn’t help but gasp in approval. “Incredible!”

This power far exceeded the Jurisdictions any of the previous Mythic Titans had wielded.

Once this Mythic Titan mastered the combat transformation abilities that other Titans possessed, its Void Jurisdiction would become even more devastating. At that point, it could potentially become a Mesocosm fighter.

Although Han Wu had several Subcosm fighters, only he had Mesocosm combat power. He very much wanted this Void Jurisdiction Mythic Titan to become his first Mesocosm unit.

As he was basking in this delight, Han Wu suddenly detected his Microcosm locusts near the portals taking damage.

That’s not right. The civilization’s Will said that invaders prioritize attacking the host. Why are they attacking my units? Han Wu wondered, sending his consciousness flying toward the portals.

A crowd of Elemental Spirits had gathered near the portals. There were even powerful Subcosm Chaos Spirits among them.

His Microcosm locusts were being picked off one by one under their assault. The sight brought an amused smile to Han Wu’s face.

Looks like someone’s set me up. That’s fine. Let’s see what you've got to kill me with!
