All three options were tied to Destruction Energy. Han Wu could feel how deeply Gu Feng yearned for destruction. Even his Sacrifice rewards reeked of it!

Han Wu wanted all three, but unfortunately, he could only choose one. As such, he carefully analyzed each option.

Option one would grant him the Destruction Clan’s bloodline and heighten his affinity for Destruction Energy. If he chose it, he was confident that he could comprehend the Destruction Jurisdiction with enough resources. That was indisputably the strongest Jurisdiction in the Divine Civilization. Possessing it would make him invincible as the Destruction God King. The temptation was enormous.

Option two offered a powerful Subcosm life form with a Destruction Jurisdiction embryo. Han Wu wasn’t desperate for Subcosm fighters for now. He could always cultivate more Mythic Titans through Life Infusion.

The Umbral Destroyer’s real value lay in its Jurisdiction embryo. Han Wu could kill it afterward and extract the embryo, but doing so carried a huge risk. The embryo could shatter during the extraction, and a shattered embryo would lose most of its value. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

Developing it further would also be a headache because Han Wu could only load complete Jurisdictions onto his own abilities. He would have to give the embryo to another life form to develop, and once it reached completion, there was no guarantee he could take it back. Option two looked convenient but was riddled with pitfalls.

He then considered option three. The Microcosm Divine Weapon Annihilation Blade was infused with Destruction Energy and had a ten percent chance of inflicting the Deathblow debuff with each strike. He found it a good reward since it was ready to use immediately, with no comprehension or additional resources required.

It was also very powerful. Han Wu’s vault held mountains of Divine Weapons, but only one had reached the Microcosm rank: the Peerless White Blade. Adding the Annihilation Blade would give him two.

The combined boost from wielding two Microcosm weapons alongside the True Holy Dragon Transformation would theoretically push him past the Death God King as the Divine Civilization’s strongest fighter.

Of course, that was only theoretical. If the Death God King went all out with the Proclamation of Death, Han Wu still wouldn’t survive unless he fully developed the Life Jurisdiction and secured the Resurrection effect.

After going back and forth, Han Wu finally made his choice: the first option, the Destruction Clan’s pure bloodline. It wouldn’t boost his immediate combat power by much, but it held the greatest long-term potential.

The moment he selected it, a violent storm erupted inside his body as the Destruction Clan’s bloodline started merging with his own.

The fusion process leaked trace amounts of Destruction Energy that ravaged his body. He cycled through destruction and reconstruction repeatedly. By the time the process was over, it felt like he had died around eighty times.

When the bloodline finally settled, he felt his Destruction Aspect stir with excitement. The Skull Guillotine, the Divine Skill attached to his Destruction Aspect, received a significant boost from the bloodline’s affinity, and its Deathblow chance jumped from twenty-five percent to thirty-five percent.

Ten percent sounded small, but for anyone caught in the Skull Guillotine’s crosshairs, it could mean the difference between life and death.

That wasn’t all. The Destruction Aspect’s upgrade also elevated his Divine Authority. Destruction Energy merged into the Divine Authority Greatsword and granted it a five percent Deathblow chance.

Han Wu let out a low whistle. The Annihilation Blade had a ten percent kill chance, and that already qualified as a Microcosm weapon. By that logic, his Divine Authority Greatsword, with its five percent chance, was roughly half a Microcosm weapon.

He had a feeling that once he developed the Destruction Jurisdiction, the kill chance on the greatsword would climb even higher. That, however, would take time and resources.

After that, Han Wu turned to his other spoils.

He fed the portions of the Beast Tamer Civilization’s Will into the Golden Tree inside his divine realm. The Golden Tree absorbed them and established contract links between Han Wu and his units, similar to the bonds between Summoned Beasts and their tamers. In places where divine realms couldn’t be opened, Han Wu could now summon his units through summoning arts instead.

Han Wu’s greatest prize of all, however, was the Dark Jurisdiction. There was currently no Dark God King in the Divine Civilization, and Han Wu had a strong affinity for darkness. He considered absorbing it and becoming the Dark God King, but he hesitated. Although the Dark Jurisdiction was powerful, it couldn’t satisfy all his ambitions.

“Maybe I’ll hold off a little longer,” he murmured.

Coincidentally, an urgent notification chimed in his mind. The Manifestation he’d been cultivating before leaving for the Beast Tamer Civilization was complete.

His first Manifestation, Everchange, materialized inside his divine realm.
