An assistant delivered their lunch.

“Little Nine, take a look at this script. It was tailored to your requirements. One of the main characters is an opera performer. You can discuss which opera scenes you want to perform with the director.”

Yun Xiaojiu took it, and Yun Jiao leaned over to take a look as well.

The script was a patriotic story about defending the nation. There were three male leads, and the opera performer was one of them.

The character embodied the three popular tropes: beautiful, strong, and tragic. He was well-written and ultimately died a brutal death for his country.

A role like this was perfect for evoking sympathy and a sense of loss from the audience. Plus, Yun Xiaojiu wouldn’t need a double for the opera parts, which was exactly what he was looking for.

After reading it, Yun Xiaojiu looked satisfied. “When does filming start?”

“In a month. The production team is mostly set. The role of Mu Ling was saved for you.”

Yun Xiaojiu nodded. “Okay.”

Yun Jiao asked, “Brother, can I visit you on set when you’re filming?”

Yun Xiaojiu replied, “Of course. You’re more than welcome.”

Su Huan had work to do, so Yun Xiaojiu spent the day showing Yun Jiao around the company. They watched a movie in the private screening room, complete with popcorn and other snacks, played instruments, and practiced dancing.
