With that, Bofunova hung up.

Sean asked, "Are you sure he'll come over after that?"

"He will," Bofunova said. "Knowing him, he'll definitely come."

"I don't know what history you two have, but he's an incredibly petty man who can't stand to lose even the slightest advantage. He also has this terrible habit of acting like some kind of domineering CEO, thinking he's entitled to anything and anyone he sets his eyes on."

"That's a spot-on description."

Sopea walked over and nodded at Sean, confirming that Bofunova wasn't lying.

"Alright, then we'll just wait for him to arrive," Sean said.

Elise shot Bofunova a look and asked, "Master, what about this woman…"

She didn't even need to finish the sentence. Bofunova knew the girl was asking what to do with her. She immediately flashed a fawning smile at Sean. "Mr. Sean, you see how obedient I am? I'll do anything you say. A well-behaved woman like me is a rare find. So how about it? Why don't you spare me and let me stay by your side to serve you?"

"I can play the bagpipes, the violin, the piano, and I can sing…"

"I promise to give you a new and delightful experience every single day. Just spare me this once, please? Pretty please, Master~"

Sean: "..."

The Eleanor Sisters: "?"

"What did you just call our Master?"

Elise's gaze turned dangerous. "I dare you to say that again."

'Where did this wench come from? Who does she think she is, using the same title for Mr. Blake as my sister and I?'

In truth, with Bofunova's personality, the word "Master" would never have passed her lips; she was the one others called Master. But when you're under someone else's roof, you have to bow your head. And when you're standing before Sean, you have to know your place... Bofunova couldn't bear to lose her eyes, and she certainly didn't want to die. As long as she was alive, there was still a chance.

'These two girls are bona fide Grand Mages, but the Farm World doesn't have the resources for a Wizard to break through to this Tier. That means Eleanor and Elise can only be from the New World, and they most likely snuck over illegally.'

'Because they're on the opposite side of the Witch Hunter Families and the Church Court.'

'And the passage between the two worlds is controlled by the Church Court itself. Who could possibly deceive the Church Court and secretly send two Grand Mages to the Farm World?'

The more Bofunova thought about it, the more terrifying it seemed.

The more she considered it, the more she realized that this situation was far more complex than it appeared on the surface.

'There was very likely a major mole high up within the Church Court.'

'So, if I can just get this information back, I won't even have to worry about getting revenge for today's humiliation. The Church Court will personally send people to purge the Farm World and investigate this to the very bottom.'

'But to get back to the New World, I have to survive first.'

'As long as Sean doesn't kill me, I'll do anything.'

'Even if he shoves something huge in my mouth.'

For the sake of returning home, Bofunova was prepared to endure any and all humiliation.

But who was Sean?

An old monster who had lived for hundreds of years, there was no one he hadn't seen. How could he fail to see through her petty schemes?

But he didn't expose her.

They would need Bofunova to make the "introductions" when Carlos arrived.

He also hadn't asked about the Gate of Hell yet.

Besides—it was better to give her a little hope first, and then let her fall into despair.

This woman deserved that special kind of treatment.

"Let's keep her around for now. We'll see how she behaves," Sean said.

"Then what about these guys?" Elise asked, looking at the Wizards still kneeling on the ground, unable to rise.

The moment her gaze fell upon them, the crowd's faces filled with terror. "Spare our lives, Lady Maid!" they begged.

"Spare our lives, Lord Sean!"

They knew that Miss Bofunova had been dealt with for the time being, and now it was their turn. Their own master had already bowed her head to Sean, so what point was there in resisting?

Staying alive was all that mattered!

Lemondaff was the loudest of them all, and he immediately broke down into tears.

"Lord Sean, I was wrong!"

"I never should have deceived you, and I certainly shouldn't have betrayed the Wizard class."

"It's just that the Kovloki Family is too powerful! We were forced to submit to them just to survive…"

"We see the error of our ways now! Please, Lord Sean, give us one more chance! We swear we'll turn over a new leaf and become new men. We'll remember our identities as Wizards and never act as accomplices for evil again! We will never conspire with any Witch Hunters! Please, Lord Sean, just trust us this one time!"

Lemondaff wailed, tears streaming down his face.

Admittedly, for a weathered, middle-aged man who was typically calm and composed to suddenly break down crying was surprisingly moving. Unfortunately for him, Sean remembered his earlier words—

"Weren't you the one who asked us how your acting was?"

Sean offered a fair assessment: "It's brilliant. A pity you're not an actor."

Lemondaff's expression froze for a moment, but then he continued to wail, "Lord Sean, I truly know I was wrong!"

Sean pressed his lips together, saying nothing.

Elvire folded her wings and walked over, staring at him coldly. "Do you know you were wrong?"

"You just know you're about to die."

She had seen far too many people like Lemondaff over the years.

She, too, had once been soft-hearted and spared a few Wizards who had seemingly seen the error of their ways. But experience had taught her that a dog will always return to its own vomit. Betrayal, like cheating, was a matter of either zero times or countless times. Sparing them was tantamount to harming other Wizards.

Sean deliberately asked the young woman, "What do you think we should do with them?"

Elvire's voice was like ice. "Kill them all."

"Alright. Whatever my wife says," Sean immediately nodded.

Elvire: "...?"

Having gotten his little joke in, Sean quickly looked away, avoiding the young woman's gaze. He turned to the Eleanor Sisters. "Did you hear that?"
