"I-I..." Liliana answered with a stammer as she felt the pressure from the Emperor before her.

"This Crown Prince is the last one," Leonhardt answered.

"Are you sure?" he asked in the same tone as before, but everyone could feel the overwhelming pressure.

Everyone in the room immediately wiped away the cold sweat that had appeared on their faces. Although those in the room also possessed imperial blood, the difference in the purity of their blood compared to the Emperor’s was immense.

"This Crown Prince is certain," Leonhardt replied calmly, without feeling the pressure in the slightest.

The Emperor turned to look at Liliana, observing her from head to toe. "Call your wolf out," he ordered.

Liliana gripped Leonhardt’s fingers beside her. She still could not control her power, and she was not wearing Viktor’s protective earrings at the moment. Although she now felt that Silver was vastly different from before, she was not sure she could reveal it in front of the Emperor.

Her wolf was different. She knew this could bring great trouble, both for herself and for Pack Draven.

Leonhardt noticed Liliana’s panic. He said nothing and merely nodded in response.

Liliana finally nodded back after seeing the golden eyes of Leonhardt, the man she had only met a few days ago.

Liliana closed her eyes for a moment, trying to call Silver’s form out.

Within seconds, Silver’s form emerged and stood beside Liliana.

It was not the large and powerful size of the wolf belonging to the Empress, the imperial princesses, or even the alpha families of the Morovela Empire.

It was the size of an ordinary female wolf. A weak and fragile Omega wolf, one that did not even possess the strength to protect itself.

The Emperor frowned. His sharp eyes stared at the very ordinary silver wolf, clearly different from what he had sensed when he felt her presence in this imperial palace. He turned and looked at Leonhardt beside him, as though assessing something invisible.

After several silent and tense moments, the Emperor spoke again. "Return to your palace. I will have my subordinates arrange your leave for the next few days."

Leonhardt bowed respectfully, followed by Liliana. Then they turned and left the palace hall with calm steps.

Leonhardt said nothing until they arrived at his own palace. As soon as they arrived, he waved his hand, dismissing the servants who were there.

Liliana looked at him with a complicated expression. "You covered it up?"

Leonhardt smiled faintly and looked back at Liliana.

Liliana knew that was his answer. "Why?"

"What do you think?" he asked.

Liliana shook her head. "I don’t know what your true intentions are, but thank you. I will definitely repay this debt."

Leonhardt still said nothing, leaving Liliana completely unable to understand what this man actually intended to do.

"Do not leave this palace without my permission. I will handle this matter from now on," Leonhardt finally said. "Now, rest. I will give you one of my guards to stay by your side. I will try to find a way for us to return to the academy as soon as possible."

Liliana nodded and obediently followed the subordinate Leonhardt called for her.

Leonhardt watched Liliana’s back as she walked farther away before turning around and disappearing with his power.

Everything went peacefully that afternoon. No one disturbed her at all. Until night came, and one of the Emperor’s subordinates brought her an invitation to dinner.

"Miss," Leonhardt’s subordinate called calmly. "Set aside your nervousness. The Emperor is not someone you can deceive or please with nothing more than your appearance and words. The Crown Prince already anticipated this. He will be back shortly."

Liliana looked at the subordinate and nodded. "I will listen to you."

She prepared with the help of the palace servants before entering the Emperor’s palace again.

"Only Miss Liliana is permitted to enter," the guard at the door said.

Leonhardt’s subordinate obediently nodded. "I will wait outside."

In the Imperial Palace, as long as a girl with a mate mark had not been acknowledged by the Emperor himself as the mate of someone possessing imperial blood, no one dared to address her by her new identity. This was different from the ordinary Alphas and pack members outside, who would submit to whatever the will of those possessing imperial blood demanded.

Liliana entered and stood straight before the Emperor. She immediately bowed respectfully. "I-I, Liliana Draven, stands before His Majesty, the Emperor of the Morovela Empire."

The Emperor did not look up or greet her. His eyes remained fixed on several reports on his desk. His hand moved several times, crossing out the papers before him.

Seconds passed into minutes and then hours. Yet the Emperor did not respond to Liliana at all, as though Liliana truly did not exist.

Meanwhile, Liliana remained in her position, her body slightly bowed as before. Sweat began to trickle down her pale face. The Emperor’s pressure grew heavier and heavier, making Liliana dare not move at all.

After some time, the Emperor finally closed the last report before him. "Stand up and sit down calmly. Accompany this Emperor for dinner. You are hungry too, aren’t you?"

The Emperor waved his hand, allowing the servants to begin arranging the table for the two of them to eat.

Liliana obediently sat at the table that had been prepared, with the same food that was placed before the Emperor.

"Eat," the Emperor ordered in a flat voice without looking at Liliana.

"Liliana... there is something in your food. The Emperor wants to test my abilities," Silver said inside her mind.

Liliana’s hand, which was holding the chopsticks, stiffened. She swallowed heavily.

"Did you not hear my order?" he asked.

"I-I..."

The Emperor finally smiled coldly and looked at Liliana. "Finish everything. Don’t you want to return soon?" he asked.

Liliana stared at the food before her for a moment. "Don’t do anything to me," Liliana finally said to Silver.

Liliana did not know what Leonhardt had done to her that allowed him to help conceal her wolf’s abilities even in front of the Emperor himself. But she clearly knew that if the Emperor discovered her wolf’s abilities, it would not be a good thing. And sooner or later, Pack Draven would inevitably be dragged into it and soon become nothing more than tender meat ready for the Emperor to butcher in the future.

Liliana moved the chopsticks in her hand and slowly began putting the food into her mouth.

However, after the third bite, her body stiffened.
