"Lucien, the first class is already over. Let me go. The academy teacher will surely punish me if I skip his class again this time."

"Liliana... Xavier’s scent still clings to your body. How could I just let you go like that?" Lucien asked with a sneer.

"I’ll help you explain it to the academy teacher. You don’t need to worry," he added.

Liliana could no longer remember how many times Lucien had done this. She had stopped counting after the fifth time.

As the sun began to lean toward the west, Liliana finally collapsed onto the bed and closed her eyes tightly. Lucien embraced her with both arms.

He rested his face in the crook of Liliana’s neck.

"You have my scent now, Liliana. And my scent is clearly stronger than Xavier’s," he said with a satisfied smile.

Their bed was already soaked with sweat and the remnants of their intimacy.

Lucien sat up slowly and gazed at Liliana’s body. Every inch of her body bore his marks and carried the scent of his wolf.

Carefully, he lifted Liliana’s body and carried her to the bathroom inside his dorm room.

Liliana’s eyes remained tightly shut. She did not know what Lucien was doing to her body inside the bathroom.

After a while, he came back out of the bathroom carrying Liliana.

One of his arms supported Liliana’s body, while the other changed the bedsheets that still held the traces of what they had just done.

Once finished, Lucien laid Liliana’s naked body down. He walked to his wardrobe and put on his own clothes.

He turned to look at Liliana and her clothes scattered on the floor in a ruined state. His hand reached for a box inside the wardrobe and took out a female academy uniform.

Lucien carefully helped Liliana put on the clothes, afraid of waking the girl who still kept her eyes closed.

"Truly weak. How could you become my Luna?" he asked in a low voice.

He took the blanket and covered Liliana’s body.

Lucien looked at his room, which was now in complete disarray. He shook his head slowly, then stood up intending to clean up all the mess.

But before he could tidy it up, a knocking sound came from outside the door. Lucien’s brow immediately furrowed.

He snorted in annoyance and hurried over. He dispelled the protective magic effect on the room, then opened the door slightly in front of him.

But before he could ask who dared to disturb him, a punch flew toward his face.

Thud!

Lucien’s body tilted to the side because he was unprepared. He stared at the man who was so bold as to punch his face.

In this academy, there was only one person who had that kind of courage. But now there was someone who, heaven knows how much cow’s heart he had eaten, dared to punch him.

"Cassian!!!" Lucien shouted.

Cassian ignored him. He pushed Lucien until the man stumbled back several steps.

"You kidnapped my sister? Where are you hiding her? She didn’t attend class today, and the cashier servant on the first floor said he saw you chasing her this morning."

Cassian stared at him sharply.

"Where did you take Liliana? Huh?" he asked again.

Lucien looked up. His hand moved to wipe the blood from the corner of his lips.

"Heh!" A low smile appeared on his lips.

"So, you’re looking for Liliana?"

Cassian’s eyes narrowed. He yanked Lucien’s collar.

"What did you do to my sister?" he asked.

Lucien’s smile grew wider.

"Brother-in-law," he said.

"What do you mean?" Cassian asked with a furrowed brow.

Lucien pushed the door to his room wide open so that Cassian could see his bedroom.

"Liliana is asleep. She’s exhausted after serving me and letting me mark her."

Cassian’s gaze shifted to Lucien’s bed, which was so messy. With the academy uniforms scattered about, his eyes fell back on Liliana’s face, who was now lying with her eyes closed.

Another punch flew toward Lucien, but Lucien blocked it quickly.

"Liliana is my fated mate from the Moon Goddess. She is my Luna. Stop acting stupid. I only marked her."

Cassian frowned, but Lucien quickly lowered the collar of his neck.

The mate mark appeared there. Cassian could also smell Liliana’s scent on his body. His fingers clenched until they made a cracking sound.

"Lucien, I’ll deal with you later. Don’t you dare approach Liliana again," he said sharply, full of warning.

He hurried toward Liliana who was lying down, but Lucien’s hand held his shoulder.

"I’ll take Liliana home to my Pack Valmont during this semester break. She has already become my Luna, the Luna of Pack Valmont. So I think you’re the one who should start keeping your distance from Liliana, Cassian," Lucien said with eyes full of warning.

Cassian stared back at him and then sneered.

"I’m her brother. We’re already bound by a blood pact. So I’m not the one who has to step away from her side."

"Cassian, you’re not the only one connected to Liliana now. She will become the Luna of Pack Valmont in the future. And maybe... she’ll be carrying my offspring soon," he said with a mocking smile.

Cassian stared at Lucien before pushing him away.

He hurried to Liliana’s side, then lifted her and carried her out of Lucien’s room.

Lucien said nothing. He stood leaning against the wall by the exit of his room while watching Cassian.

Cassian stopped in front of the door, right beside Lucien. He did not look at him, only glanced at him from the corner of his eye.

"Lucien, don’t be so confident. You already know, don’t you, that Xavier has also marked her as his Luna?"

Lucien’s eyebrow arched.

"Liliana has already asked for my help to cancel her mate mark. I think Liliana will beg me again when she wakes up," he said in a mocking tone. "She’ll beg me to erase your mate mark from her body," he added.

Cassian continued walking out of Lucien’s room without looking back again.

Behind him, Lucien frowned. His eyes flashed sharply, and he clenched his fingers tightly.

"Cassian..." he said in a low voice.

Cassian carried Liliana back to Liliana’s room, then laid her down carefully.

The striped tiger immediately stepped toward her and climbed onto the bed, then rubbed its head against Liliana’s feet.

Cassian said nothing. He opened the drawer in Liliana’s room, took paper and a pen. After he finished writing, he opened Liliana’s window.

"Cuitt..."

A whistle came from Cassian’s mouth.

A black crow flew closer and perched on the window.

Cassian folded the letter and tied it to the crow’s leg.

"Go. Deliver this letter to Pack Draven. Don’t return until you receive a reply from the Alpha."

The crow looked at Cassian as if it understood, then flew back toward the twilight sky that was beginning to darken.

Cassian watched the crow flying farther away. He only hoped his father could give an answer soon before everything was too late.
