241. Shokohou Misaki Request For Help and Aleister Scheme.

After Shokohou Misaki compromised and made everyone stop paying attention to them, she then joined their table and sat beside Ravel with a happy smile. Meanwhile, Ravel also now realizes she was misunderstanding about Kaito's situation and quickly apologized to him for the baseless accusation.

"I am sorry, Kaito-san! Because I don't trust you enough!"  Ravel bowed her head slightly.

"It's okay, Ravel-san." Kaito just shrugged it off before glancing at the woman who sat beside her, "After all, this girl is the one who makes trouble."

"Eh, I am sorry?" Shokohou Misaki just smiled and tilted her head cutely, "Did I disturb your date?"

"Yes, you do." Kaito rolled his eyes. "So what do you want to talk about? Miss Esper Mental Out?"

At this point, Kaito was experienced enough to deal with a troublesome, cunning woman like her (Aika and Manaka literally the one). He knew how he should handle such a cunning woman and knew that he should never give them the attention they wanted. (although the girls also know how to handle him).

"Can I say that I'm just interested in you?" Misaki asked back playfully, "After all, you are my type, Kaito-kun."

"Woman... stop making trouble and start talking." Kaito shook his head and glared at her, "Do you really think that I won't dare to beat you up here now? You made our mood worse, you know?"

Shoukohou Misaki's smile quickly became stiff, and then she made a snarky comment, "Oh? Ravel-san, it seems your boyfriend is a violent man who would beat a woman without hesitation~." 

"Well... I think you should answer Kaito-san honestly, Misaki-san." Ravel also smiled at her, but her eyes were really cold and intimidating, "After all, you did try ruining our date~."

"Ugh."

Unfortunately for her, Ravel already knew her personality from memory and wouldn't play along with her either. Heck, she was also genuinely angry at her for ruining her single date with Kaito. Looking at Ravel's reaction, also made Kaito secretly happy, at least Ravel isn't as guillable as she used to be.

On the other hand, Misaki realized that these two couples are really people whom she couldn't take advantage of (since they know her character anyway). She really can't get the upper hand against them, and as a psychological expert, she can tell that Kaito really wanted to beat her up for her.

"Not really." Kaito just shrugged and then added, "I can handle that. Isn't that right, Ravel-san?"

"Um. Kaito should be okay." Ravel nods in agreement, "I trust Kaito-san."

It was clear to every chat group member that nothing should be able to endanger Kaito besides Aleister, Angel, those Magic(Demon) gods, and if he wanted to push more, it would be awakened Accelerator. Even so, Kaito wasn't that afraid; the richest among everyone should have enough points to ask the system or just escape to the base world if he wanted to.

"I mean, I know you are the new number 1, but aren't you too overconfident?"

Hearing Kaito and Ravel's response, Shoukohou Misaki feels stumped and more frustrated. Misaki didn't know what Kaito was capable of, but she admitted that the fact that he was able to replace Accelerator's position makes him at least super strong, and Misaki is willing to believe that. This is also one of the main reason why Misaka decide to contact him, since the stronger Kaito is, the better it is for her.

"Alright, I will give you some more information."

Since her first bait doesn't work, Misaki sighed and put another piece of information on the table, "I also heard all Skill-Out planned to attack you and your friend soon, alongside many dark group factions inside the city. Though I am not sure when they decide to attack you."

"I also heard that Accelerator is joining; he's planning on taking revenge on you."

"Oh?"

"There's also a hundred million yen bounty attached to you by people, some of it coming from the Board of Directors directly."

Hearing all the information, both Ravel and Kaito were surprised. None of them expected the situation quickly become this big and realized that they may need to take it seriously, "Bounty... really? Did you know which board director gave me trouble?"

"I know~" Knowing her bait this time works, Misaki's mouth curled up, "I can give you all the information you want related all forces that want to capture you, but I want you to help me."

"Sure thing." Kaito nods, curious what she wanted to ask for help to even dare facing him head on, "State your offer, Misaki."

Hearing Kaito say, Misaka nods and then activates her remote control (ability) to make sure no one pays attention to them even further. Kaito quickly followed suit, putting out the anti-noise barrier (the one he used in the Sekirei world) to make sure no voice could be heard from their table.

"I want you to help me save Dolly, the first Misaka sister." Shoukohou Misaki looked at him seriously and then continued to say, "Since there's a deal with Chairman that you and Misaka wanted to save all the Misaka sisters, you're also willing to save the first sister, right?"

Hearing a shocking answer from Misaki, this time, both Ravel and Kaito opened their eyes wide in shock. The fact that Misaki even knows the secret deal, which should be only known by him, Aleister, and the chat group members, made them wondering whats going on.

"I am sorry, but where did you know that?" Kaito asked seriously, wondering how the information had leaked.

"Last night, I got information from the Chairman of Academy City directly about your deal with him." Shokohou Misaki answered calmly, "And he tells me the location of Dolly, whom the Kihara Clan people are holding in his laboratory."

"Wait, wait, wait, Chairman... Aleister contacted you?" Kaito asked with a hint of shock.

"Alesiter?" Misaki tilted her head.

"The name of the owner of this city." Ravel explained, realizing how serious the situation is, "We are curious, how and why did he contact you, Misaki-san?"

"Ah... It was in my email," Misaki explained, and then proceeded to show the email she got last night to them.

Seeing her phone screen, Kaito and Ravel quickly read the content, and it basically contained all the 'information' that Misaki had just received. From his deal with Aleister (to stop sisters' plan in return for his existence to get into public) to the location of Dolly and who's hiding her in the first place.

Neither Kaito nor Ravel was stupid enough not to realize the implications. Aleister clearly wanted them to 'save' Dolly by themselves with Shokohou Misaki and show what they are capable of, which means this is a trap... a very convoluted trap to let force show their ability.

Kaito knows that Shokohou Misaki is also a person that with actual past with Dolly, making it hard for him to refuse his request for help... as he probably already figured out his personality.

He does not doubt that the Kihara clan even cooperated in this 'testing' operation... but the worst part is that Kaito knows there's no way to escape the situation.

*Sigh*

"Alright... but Misaki, you didn't doubt this information?" Kaito curiously asked.

"I have checked the credibility of the information myself by reading the memory of that specific lab employee last night." Misaki explained, "But unfortunately, I know there's no way I can save her alone on my own."

"By the way, I have memorized the layout of the building where she was hidden, including all personnel guarding it." Misaki added, "I will tell you the information after you agree to help me."

"So you came up with the idea to contact me after learning the deal between Aleister and us." Kaito concluded, "Well done. Aleister really wants us to make a move, huh?"

Shokohou Misaki just nodded and explained her conjecture, "I don't know why the famous chairman contacted me for this, but I am grateful for the information he provided. The fact he told me about your deal with him means you should be willing to cooperate with me."

"Am I right?" 

"..."

Ravel, who also realizes how serious the situation is, reminded Kaito by tugging his clothes, "Kaito-san, should we discuss with everyone first? At least we need to inform Misaka, too."

"No need." Kaito shook his head and directly answered Misaki, "We agree to cooperate."

"Eh?" Ravel was stunned at Kaito's answer.

"That's good news." Misaki smiled brightly, "When do you want to act?"

"Don't forget, retrieving Misaka's sister is our main goal in this city." Kaito reminded her.

"I see." Ravel nods, now understands Kaito's choice, and indeed, there's no way to avoid it.

Meanwhile, Shokohou Misaki naturally doesn't know what they were talking about, but she realizes that this number 1 is more mysterious than she thought.

"Give me your contact so I can contact you later about the plan. Is that fine with you?" Kaito suggested.

"Sure. But I suggest we do as soon as possible." Misaka suggested, "I'm just afraid whats happen to her if we take too long to respond.

"I will keep that in mind." Kaito nodded in agreement, knowing from the original that Dolly wasn't in good health, and he even prepared to use points to address her issue.

But most importantly, Kaito wonders what kind of stage Aleister prepared to test him. Although he's confident that he can face anything in this city, the lesson he got from the Fate world made Kaito vigilant, and he would never underestimate the situation.

After all, Aleister is a much scarier mastermind compared to Manaka Saijyou... the guy who literally hid so deeply to overthrow the strongest being in this verse.

Fortunately, this time, Kaito knew he wasn't alone, so after the meeting with Shokohou Misaki, he quickly went back to the apartment to report what was happening in the chat group.

Occasionally, Aleister could hear something that he couldn't understand, like 'system', 'chat group', 'base world', which really intrigued him the most. He has the gist of the idea of what's going on, as it should be something like a cheat that all those "isekai" novel main characters have... but to confirm it, Aleister needs further testing.

Aleister can tell that when Frenda reached him last night, Kaito must already have known her spy identity, yet he still befriended her. The only logical reason for such behavior is that he really knows her well and feels sympathy toward her, as proven when Kaito leaves a suggestion to call him when she needs his help.

This is also the reason why he decided to contact Shokohou Misaki, another girl with a tragic past and some other similar factor, to contact him. If Kaito is willing to work with her, then Kaito's character is what he thought.

And naturally, Aleister won the bet and confirmed Kaito's righteous character... which can be taken advantage of easily.

"From his action, he probably gets our information from a source we didn't know, but it should be only general information," Aleister added.

Aiwass, who was also watching beside him with interest and always guarding him, also commented, "Indeed. Otherwise, there's no way that boy would be falling into your obvious trap."

"Besides that, I am also indirectly doing a favor for him."

"A favor?"

Aleister explained, "It was easy to guess their goal here to help Misaka live well in our Academy City. I just allowed them to clean all the trouble in one go to make Misaka and her friends' lives better."

For Aleister, if Kaito manages to clear the 'big stage' he prepared for him, there's no doubt that at least 2/3 of the dark side of Academy City would get destroyed, and most of the Board Directors would even get removed. On the other hand, if Kaito loses, it would be even better; they would have obtained the right studies from a human from another world while also nullifying the deal between them, since Kaito was proven to be 'incapable' of fulfilling his part of the deal.

So, no matter what the outcome is, Aleister believes he's only getting benefits from this situation.

Unfortunately for him, with the chat group's help later on, Kaito would easily flip the board of his plan and would give Aleister a result that he never expected.
