235. Misaka Beating Accelerator and Kaito Negotiate with Aleister.

One hour later, as the sky was about to get darker, Misaka and the Kaito group arrived at their destination, which was the next location for the level 6 shift project. They have arrived at an abandoned construction project in District 17. Ironically, it's also the district where the protagonist of this world defeated Accelerator.

Also, since the location is quite far from District 7, Kaito ended up revealing his other ability, teleportation, to Aleister. Not that it matters, since Kaito knows there's no use in hiding it anyway.

[The location has been cleared. Misaka No.9696, please be ready in your position.

Hearing the loudspeaker from the scientists observing the location, Kaito knew they had arrived just in time. They were also undetected by the scientists, as Misaka had used the point system to temporarily conceal their presence, allowing them to infiltrate the area safely... even from Aleister's observation.

"9600 sisters already died on his hand... if I didn't know better, I would already decimate this guy with Gungnir." Kaito cursed. Although they were much earlier than what happened in the plot (Misaka 10032), he still hates the fact that they can't do much better.

"Calm down, Master. If you do that, you will be directly offending Aleister. We know this man is part of his big plan." Sakuya explained.

"I know. We can't kill him." Kaito nods while frowning, "But it doesn't mean that we can't beat him."

"That's going to be your job, Misaka."

*crackle* *crackle*

"I plan to do so." Misaka released her electricity in anger, agreeing with Kaito's opinion, "I know from the memory he wasn't an irredeemable bad guy, but it's undeniable he's killing my sisters."

"Be careful, Misaka-san." Sakuya warned, "Never underestimate your enemy, even if you are now much stronger than he is. We will be here to help if anything unexpected happens."

"Yeah."

Misaka nodded before quickly jumping out to the experimental area. Although she feels that it should be easy to defeat Accelerator, Misaka took this fight seriously because her sisters were on the line.

In the experimental area, Misaka no.9696 has been prepared to fight to the death with Accelerator, like many clones before her. Meanwhile, Accelerator himself looked bored, finding this completely uninteresting after doing the same thing over 9,000 times. The pale-skinned, moppy white-haired, and red-eyed man simply stood there, now wondering what method he would use to kill the sister this time.

"Let's get over this. I still have more than 5 clones I need to defeat after you." Accelerator begins to activate his computing power, and the wind around him begins to make a mini cyclone.

"Roger that." Misaka no.9696 answered, but there's a clear fear in her eyes. Although she knows that she's just a clone, like any living being, they naturally has a will to live and is afraid of death.

[Start the Experiment!] 

Unfortunately, Accelerator right now has seen too many of that expression, and he simply doesn't care. Accelerator then releases the cyclone toward her, intending to kill her by sending her into the air and shredder her off.

However, as the wind was about to reach her, suddenly, a massive bolt of lightning intercepted the cyclone and shattered it, saving Misaka 9696 from a deadly attack. The lightning also blinded everyone who was currently watching, sending them into a panic as no one could see this development.

*BOOM*

Seeing what had happened, everyone present, including Accelerator, Misaka 6969, and the scientists watching, was shocked, except for Kaito's group, who were watching from a distance.

"Misaka nee-san, so cool." (Est)

"Flashy entrance, Misaka." (Kaito)

When the lightning dissipated a few seconds later, Misaka Mikoto emerged from it in front of Accelerator, glaring at him. Around her, a mini electric current was dancing consistently in the shape of a tornado, making her look very intimidating in appearance.

"Stop this experiment right away!" Misaka yelled out in anger.

[That... You are the real Railgun?!]

Seeing the real Misaka appear in the area, the scientists were at a loss for what to do for a moment. Meanwhile, Accelerator, who had previously looked bored, now immediately became interested.

"Oh? Are you the real number 3?" Accelerator asked curiously.

"Yeah!" Misaka nodded and stated, "Stop this experiment, and I will spare your life, Accelerator!"

"From what?" Accelerator sneered, wasn't afraid of Misaka's threat in the slightest, "From you, Number 3?"

"Yeah." Misaka nods as the electromagnetic current around her becomes restless, "I will beat you to death!"

If it's possible, Misaka would rather solve this peacefully, but unfortunately, she's bound to get disappointed. After all, the current Accelerator is still the arrogant man who thinks himself unstoppable.

"HAHAHAHA! That's interesting!" Accelerator instead laughed and ridiculed her, "I don't care if you were the original or not, but you must be stupid to think you can defeat me!"

Accelerator then activates his Vector again; this time, the wind around literally makes a much larger cyclone, and it starts to rip everything small around it apart. This makes Accelerator look much more intimidating than the current Misaka, but Misaka naturally isn't afraid or even intimidated in the slightest. 

With her rich experience, Misaka has seen much more horror than this, especially back then when they fought the SAO final boss or the Enhanced Gastrea level 5.

"Don't regret it, Accelerator!"

"It's useless!"

Like usual, Accelerator immediately uses his superior computing power to calculate Misaka's trajectory and redirect her away using his vector control.

But then Accelerator was stunned, because he found that his vector ability was unable to calculate Misaka lightning at all... thus his Esper power became nighly ineffective against her!

'What is she? Why can't I stop her?!' Accelerator thought with horror.

Realizing this, for a moment, life flashes before Accelerator's eyes, his confident expression quickly changes into horror in a split second. Lightning is too fast for the human eye to follow, and it was instinctual for humans to be afraid of lightning. Before Accelerator was able to react properly, Misaka already arrived in front of her and blasted him to the ground.

*DUARR*

A tremendous explosion rang out from Misaka's attack, with Accelerator at the center. The attack was so powerful that it even electrocuted everything within 100 meters of its vicinity, with Accelerator at the center. With his weak physique, Accelerator was instantly defeated and knocked out by Misaka's single punch, which had already improved her physique to 4*.

Even then, Misaka still held back from him. Killing Accelerator wasn't her goal, and knowing Aleister's plan, Misaka was even afraid of angering the city's owner and consequently putting her friends in this city in danger.

Still, that punch is quite destructive and should put Accelerator in bed for a few days. The result was too shocking for all the researchers who were currently watching this live, and started doubting the credibility of this experiment.

"Ouch, that was anticlimactic." Kaito commented, "I guess Misaka will be the new number 1 now?"

"Misaka is much stronger now, after all," Sakuya added, "But I hope she's holding back; otherwise, it's difficult to clean up."

"Pffft... Yeah."

On the other hand, no one in the Kaito group was surprised by the result. The current Mikoto was simply too powerful, especially after eating the Devil Fruit and mastering her haki. Accelerator power works well only against Esper and, to some extent, magic-- but Misaka's main ability was unfortunately neither of them.

"Master, we got a guest," Sakuya warned, detecting there's someone had appeared behind them, "It seems the system has stopped hiding us after Misaka won."

"Oh, it's okay. I guess Aleister wants to meet us now."

Kaito quickly turned around and saw a young girl with long dark hair tied in a twintailed bow slightly at them, wearing a dark blue coat and a bandage over her chest. Everyone here naturally recognizes her, an important character whose job acts as a teleporter to the inside of a windowless building where Aleister resides.

"Right, Move Point Lv 4 Musujime Awaki-san?"

Hearing Kaito call out her identity, she's twitched in shame, feeling so nervous. Aleister himself has warned her not to offend this group of people, which Awaki assumes was really dangerous in Aleister's eyes.

"G-Good evening, Misaka Mikoto friends." Awaki nodded politely and then stated as she looked up at Kaito, "The chairman of this Academy City wanted to meet the leader of this group. I hope you are willing to follow, Kaito-san."

"Wow, Aleister already guessed I am the leader." Not surprised by the invitation at all, Kaito just gave a nod, "Led the way."

Hearing the confirmation, Awaki intended to grab and bring Kaito directly to the windowless building, but was surprised to find out that her power was not working.

"What happened?"

"Ah, don't bother to bring me." Kaito shrugged, forgetting about his hand ability, "My hand is capable of deleting supernatural ability, but I can also teleport to a windowless building anytime I want to."

"Lead the way, Miss. You do first, and I teleport after you."

"Umm."

Getting more convinced that Kaito is dangerous, Awaki nodded nervously before quickly teleporting inside the windowless building. Then, after ordering Sakuya with Ravel to clean up Misaka's mess, Kaito soon followed her into inside windowless building... the famous resident of the Chairman of Academy City.

Inside the windowless building, Kaito appeared beside Awaki directly, directly in front of a man, upside down and soaked by red liquid inside a glass cylinder upside down that connected with several cables acting as its life support. The whole quadrangular room appears to be chilly, despite the lack of ventilation, and there are a lot of tubes and pipes across the floor and walls of the room.

"Hello, Visitor from another world. You should already know my identity."

"Yeah. You are Aleister Crowley, the Chairman of Academy City and mastermind behind many events that happened here."

"Interesting answer."

However, with Kaito's spatial awareness, he also found out that the whole room was also placed inside another space-- connected with the ley lines of the planet. Interestingly enough, Kaito found out that his Imagine Breaker seemed to react violently here and passively wanted to break the whole space... but he managed to suppress it. It seems that the whole space itself, in fact, is a creation of supernatural ability; probably similar to that of reality marble.

Such a thing naturally can't escape Aleister's observation, and he found it interesting, "Your hand, is it really Imagine Breaker from another world... and you can control it?"

Knowing the cat already out of the bag, Kaito nodded and answered cautiously, "As expected, it seems you have been really paying attention to us since we came to this world."

"And you also don't deny that you already know me from the very beginning." Aleister's bubble suddenly burst. "Very interesting."

"We are aware that this city is under your constant observation, hence why we have been careful not to provoke you."

"...Tell me what you want to do in this world," Aleister continued and seriously asked, "Answer me honestly."

"We want Misaka sister," Kaito answered seriously, "All of Misaka sister."

"Rejected." Aleister directly refused, "Based on your action, I have discovered all of you must already be aware of my plan for them, so you know that the Misaka clone is indispensable in my plan."

Kaito was honestly surprised that Aleister was even able to see that far, but he quickly calmed down. Since asking politely or robbing them outright is not an option, Kaito can only negotiate with this man.

*Inhale*

Kaito took a deep breath and then said, "We do know your plan, to destroy the phase and eliminate magic in this world. We don't intend to ruin your plan." 

"How did you know that extent?"

Now, Aleister, who was really surprised in turn, didn't expect Kaito to know his main goal.

Immediately, the whole space was vibrating, and this made Kaito feel threatened. Realizing the situation was getting worse as he realized that he may have made a mistake, Kaito silently summoned Est out of his inventory, ready to fight if the conflict broke out. However, if Aiwass came out, Kaito was ready to consume some points to fight to the bitter end, to show Aleister they aren't a pushover either.

*Slink*

Escape was not an option, as Kaito would never want his family (Misaka) friend to suffer in this world because of Aleister took actions.

"Interesting, your sword is really powerful. Is this the source of your confidence to confront me?"

Fortunately, the space quickly calmed down a few seconds later, and instead, Aleister became interested in Est, the sword he just summoned. That's because with Aleister's perception, he can see a glimpse of Est's true form (the guardian of the world) and realize that if the conflict broke up, he wouldn't necessarily come out as the winner. (Aleister didn't know Est wasn't sealed on purpose.)

"You have successfully made me very interested in you. But your request is simply a bit too much for me to agree with." Aleister answered.

"Then, how about this? We want all Misaka sisters, but only after your plan is completed." Kaito said calmly, "On the other hand, we will take all the dead Misaka sisters back to our world as we want to resurrect them."

"..."

Considering the dead Misaka sisters were never part of his plan, Kaito bet that Aleister would allow them to do that. On the other hand, this also incites interest from Aleister, since at the end of the day, the reason why he wanted to destroy magic is because of his daughter's death... which now it's body has now been used by Corazon.

In fact, Kaito was right. Aleister is genuinely interested in a magic that could resurrect the dead from another world, and it could act as a fail-safe to most of part of his main plan. 

After a long pause, Aleister opened his eyes and answered, "I agree. But you must swear an oath that you won't disturb my plan and are willing to share some of your knowledge about another world. " 

"Deal." Kaito easily agreed and stated his true purpose, "But I also want the knowledge of all of the technology achievements and esper in this city."

"No deal." Aleister refused, "The offer isn't equal in value."

"I never said our world is only one; there are multiple worlds out there connected to our world." Kaito explained calmly, "If the deal is successful, I am even thinking of continuing to work with you and letting you come to our world in the future."

"..."

Although bringing the mastermind of To Aru to the base world sounds like a very bad idea, Kaito wasn't afraid of him at all. After all, Kaito and the chat group members have full authority in that world, so he wasn't afraid that Aleister would mess up with the base world whatsoever.

In the end, Aleister agreed to the deal, provided Kaito fulfilled his promise to bring him to another world later, and was willing to help Aleister as long as he remained in this world. The deal was even written using a system contract, which, to Kaito's amusement, also piqued Aleister's interest, as expected of a natural scientist.

Later on, Kaito will regret his decision at this moment, as the next da,y Aleister literally announces his identity to the public.
