234. Visit to Judgement 177 Branch Office and Preparation to Stop Accelerator.

After being caught by Kuroko, Kaito and Ravel decide to follow her to the Judgment 177 Branch Office for interrogation. While they have no intention to cause trouble here, both of them are also interested in seeing the famous branch, where the whole cast of To Aru Kagaku no Railgun usually works.

Unlike the Tendo Civil Security office, the Judgment 177 Branch Office is a much more prosperous office, as it looks much more comfortable and cleaner. It also has many boxes addressed to the office, along with other miscellaneous items, making it look crowded. However, the office can comfortably accommodate multiple people at once, featuring a small kitchen and waiting area for guests, which is where Ravel and Kaito brought them in.

In fact, it has been shown that there's a conference room here for branch members to conduct their meetings.

"I am sorry for Kuroko's behavior, senpai!" Uiharu bowed her head at Kaito with an apologetic tone.

"Raise your head, Ui-san." Kaito shook his head, "It's okay, Shirai-san doesn't hit us or anything. It's just a misunderstanding after all."

Along the way, while getting dragged by Kuroko, Kaito already informed Misaka about their situation from the chat group. Naturally, Misaka immediately called Uiharu to clear up the suspicion about them. Needless to say, instead of interrogation, it's now become just a friendly visit. The moment Kuroko learned that Kaito and Ravel were her Onee-sama's good friends, her attitude toward them quickly changed 180 degrees, and she treated both of them with utmost respect.

As for why there's no hostility toward Kaito, Kuroko isn't that dumb to not notice the situation between Kaito and Ravel. Since both of them are a couple, Kuroko naturally concluded that Kaito shouldn't be a threat to her relationship with Misaka.

She even wanted to ask for some advice from him on how to conquer her beloved sisters!

"Indeed!" Kuroko also quickly apologized, "I am sorry, but I didn't know Onee-chan had friends from abroad!"

"It's okay. At least the misunderstandings were solved." (Kaito)

"Um. No one got hurt from it anyway." (Ravel)

"But I was rude to you back then..." (Kuroko)

"You're just doing your job, and there's no way we would blame you all. In fact, I argue you did a good job there." (Kaito)

 Hearing praise out of nowhere, Kuroko blushed a little bit and muttered, "Eh... thank you."

"It's okay~" Kaito's mouth curled up, as he came up with an idea to tease Misaka, "So... I was right, your name is Shirai Kuroko-san, right? I know I was right."

"Eh? Onee-sama speaks about me?!" Kuroko exclaimed with excitement.

"Misaka-san did speak about you and even showed your photo to us." Kaito lied easily and then added, "That's why I was able to recognize you the first time I saw you."

Kuroko now became extremely curious, continued asking, "Eh? What did Onee-chan say about me?! Onee-sama actually has my photo too?!"

"She said that she has a cute junior who happens to be her roommate, but Misaka-san also said that she's very helpful and admirable."

"Really?!" Kuroko became extremely excited, her eyes literally lit up in fire, "I didn't know that Onee-sama was secretly thinking that highly of me! She even calls me cute, huehehehe!!"

"Does it mean Onee-sama already accepts my feelings? I can't wait to ask for it!" Kuroko screams excitedly.

"The answer is no, KUROKO!"

"Onee-sama?!"

However, at that exact moment, Misaka happened to have arrived in front door of the judgement office and heard Kuroko excitedly yell from outside. She quickly went furious, and then the moment she opened the door, Misaka went straight to Kuroko's head and slammed her kouhai's head against the floor.

"Onee-sama, believe in this Kuroko, my love for you is--"

"Shut up!"

"Gyaaaaaaaaaaaa!!"

After that, Misaka continued by electrocuting her a little bit on the spot, adding more suffering to her ungrateful junior. It was comical to the point that at some moment, Kaito swore he could see through Kuroko's bones like in the cartoon!

Although Kuroko seems to be suffering under Misaka's beating, both Uihara, Kaito, and Ravel could see that Kuroko was enjoying it. Having watched the memory herself, Misaka also knows the trait of her roommate and truly feels hopeless about it.

Watching the iconic scene where Misaka beat her roommate, Kaito, and Ravel, they admitted they were very entertained despite the misunderstanding.

Meanwhile, Uiharu was also used to the scene and could only walk away for fear of being electrocuted. Thankfully, this waiting room is far enough from any electronic device, and Misaka can perfectly control the amount of electricity she releases.

After Misaka beat the crap out of her junior until she passed out temporarily, Uiharu sighed at her and complained. "Misaka-san, you broke the floor... the floor cracked..."

"Ah, I am sorry, Uiharu. I will pay for the repair later!" Realizing her mistake, Misaka quickly apologized to Uiharu before turning around at Kaito with a frown, "And you two! How did you two manage to get into trouble?!"

"It can't be helped. You already know my luck, Misaka."

"Ugh."

"And there's no way we could ignore it, even if it's obviously a trap," Kaito added, reminding Misaka.

"We are so sorry, Misaka-san." Ravel followed, genuinely feeling guilty about this development."..."

"Your luck and this city..." Misaka suddenly feels her head hurts, "I swear I almost forgot it since this city looks very safe."

Misaka Mikoto has learned the details of what happened in the chat group, and everyone agrees it was clearly a trap or manipulation from Aleister due to the numerous coincidences. It is obvious Aleister is aware of them and even her situation, too. Considering his nanobots were everywhere, like how Kayaba discovered their chat group, Aleister should have discovered some hint about it too.

After all, Aleister is definitely much smarter than Kayaba Akihiko and can be called as ultimate mastermind about everything that happens in this city.

But there's nothing she can't do about it; to save Misaka's sister, they probably need to confront Aleister soon or later. That's literally the main reason why Misaka decided to bring Kaito here. In the worst-case scenario, Kaito should have a trump card to handle it, whether using a lot of chat group points or dangerous props that no one knows yet.

"Onee-sama... I feel like your love has become much stronger than before..."

Despite getting beaten, Kuroko seems to have come to consciousness and literally hugs Misaka tightly with a perverted expression, "As expected, you must be really in love with me!"

This time, accompanied by a flash of thunder, Misaka decides to put a lethal dose of electrocity into her junior, and it's so effective! Shirai Kuroko's body quickly toasted with smoke coming out of her, putting her into unconscious again.

"...Is Kuroko-san going to be okay? Misaka is much stronger now, right?" Ravel asked with concern, "What if she killed her?"

"It should be, right?" Kaito answered hesitantly, "At worst, we can call Aqua to revive her."

After getting irritated enough by her junior, Misaka asked Kaito and Ravel to leave with her and requested Uiharu to take care of her junior.

Uiharu naturally agrees, though she complained that their work this noon is probably going to be scrapped since Kuroko is now completely unconscious and thus can't patrol in the city.

Misaka can only apologize and promise she will treat them a lunch later for compensation.

On the other side, watching everything that happened in the 177 Judgement branch, Aleister, the said mastermind of the city, and a man sealed in a jar, chuckled... as he was certainly entertained by what Misaka and Kaito's group does had shown so far.

"They didn't even try to hide their identity, interesting." Aleister commented, "They know it's a trap, yet they still walked to it. My bet was right, because knowing Misaka's character, there's no way she would bring an evil person to this city."

'They are indeed a good people." Aiwass followed with a nod, "But they have also been shown to be aware to be very aware of your existence, they probably are also aware of me too."

"Do you want to meet them now? You aren't afraid they will mess up with your plan?" Aiwass asked with a curious tone.

"Not yet... Their capability has not convinced me yet." Aleister answered calmly, "But let's do it after they are done disrupting with Lv. 6 Absolute Plan and defeating Accelerator. I am curious what kind of power Misaka has gained in the other world."

"Besides, they must have expected to meet me soon. Let's invite them after they stop the plan." Aleister added.

Aleister was kinda excited to see what Misaka could do, or what any chat group members could do. Each of them has shown a very interesting ability that he has never seen before, using a completely different type of magic and method that Aleister can't analyze properly, like the existence of haki and devil magic.

This gives him a great hope about another world, and Aleister, being a natural researcher himself naturally very curious about it. As long as their group doesn't disrupt his plan, Aleister is willing to make concessions with them and cooperate with each other.

After leaving the branch of the Judgement office, Misaka quickly brought them to a cafe where Est and Sakuya were already waiting for them. Already knowing that the next Level 6 shift experiment would start in one hour, Misaka decided to let her friends stay and relax in the cafe while talking about the follow-up plan.

Sakuya quickly shifted his seat to give Kaito a seat, while Est immediately sat on her master's lap without anyone complaining.

"Heya, you three," Kaito greeted them back casually and commented, "It's rare to see you without wearing a maid uniform, Sakuya."

Sakuya is currently wearing a casual white t-shirt and black jeans, giving her a civil servant vibe or capable adult modern woman, which Kaito admits is very interesting to see.

"Unfortunately, wearing a maid would attract attention, and that would possibly hinder our mission in this world." Sakuya explained helplessly, "Instead, are you okay after getting detained by Kuroko-san, master?"

"Okay, in fact, I found it was interesting. Too bad I don't see Saten Ruiko." Kaito said while sipping on his booba tea, glancing at Ravel, "Isn't that right, Ravel-sama?"

Ravel nods while enjoying her booba tea, "Umm! Kuroko-san is interesting, but also very scary..."

"I admit, Kuroko is probably the strongest yuri I have ever seen." 

"Indeed."

"Can you guys stop talking about that?" Misaka rolled her eyes, "Let's talk about the plan to stop Accelerator!"

"Hmm, so what's the plan?" Kaito asked while shrugging, really not taking this seriously, "You just need to go defeat Accelerator by yourself, Misaka-san. Shouldn't be that hard, right?"

"...Uh, yeah."

With Misaka's current strength, Kaito really didn't think there was a way for Accelerator to defeat her. With Thunder Fruit, Misaka has much superior control over electromagnetic power. Kaito doubts that Accelearator could calculate Misaka's electromagnetic power, which is a combination of 3 different types of power systems (magic, devil fruit, and esper). After all, in the original, it has been revealed that Accelerator couldn't deflect things that he couldn't understand.

Even in the worst-case scenario where Accelerator grows his dark wing out of nowhere (using his true power), Misaka should be able to use her points to get out of trouble or even simply travel out to the base world.

"Now I wonder if it's a mistake to ask your help and coming here," Misaka said with a depressed tone, "I really feel like I can beat him alone without trouble."

"Pffft." Kaito laughed even more, "You just realized that?"

"Grrrr...!!!"

"Master, isn't that enough to make fun of Misaka?" Sakuya reminded.

"Master, you are so mean to Misaka's sister." Est pointed out.

"I think that's enough, Kaito-san," Ravel added.

"Eh, I am sorry, everyone. "I just can't help it." Kaito quickly gave in after getting pointed out by his own people and patted his sister's head,  "Anyway... I doubt Aleister will intervene and stop you from ruining the level 6 shift plan."

"But he may be curious about your ability and couldn't help to pay attention to you."

"Then, that's the part where we can help you, since I doubt you can negotiate and handle Aleister."

"That's true..." Misaka nodded in agreement, "But are you sure you can handle it, Kaito?"

"Who knows? But I can at least try. I do have a plan to force him to cooperate for sure."

Even right now, he wasn't 100% sure whether Aleister wanted to cooperate with them, even with all of his preparation, and he could only hope for the best. Their presence is undoubtedly the biggest factor that could ruin Aleister's biggest plan, since they were intended to kidnap all the Misaka sisters back to the base world.
