Chapter 3476: Exciting Idea

Lord Vakratunda was clearly puzzled by Rui’s confidence regarding the matter of the exotic matter with negative energy in its state value. “Well… alright, I do not know what you intend to do with the amount of exotic matter that we have, for it is truly minute and was only produced in our powerful large hadron colliders that span ten thousand kilometers in diameter.”

That was an enormous hadron collider; however, it made sense that only such extreme conditions could possibly give birth to a new form of matter. However, if only such massive facilities could create even the smallest mote of exotic matter with negative energy, then Rui couldn’t help but wonder where all the esoteric matter of the Panama Continent came from.

The sheer amount of energy needed to create all the esoteric matter that human civilization had access to in their continent was likely something that not even a Type-Three civilization could possibly create. With that perspective in mind, it spoke to just how human civilization was under-utilizing the miraculous matter that it was blessed with.

Of course, with the immortal sages, the scientists and engineers of human civilization, and people like Julian working hard to integrate conventional physics with esoteric science and technology, it was only a matter of time before human civilization would grow astronomically more powerful than it currently was.

Regardless, Rui was glad that the Gajanan Clan had the resources that he was looking for.

His plan to use his primordial seed to ’copy’ the negative-energy exotic matter and then use it to strengthen his Worm Step technique to pierce the space-time anchors that protected the Dragon Emperor from wormhole ambushes was not easy.

For one, in order to use copied esoteric matter, he usually needed to condition his body against it, something that took a lot of time and something that he hadn’t really done because he was away from the Panama Continent. Because this was a time-consuming process and was especially difficult to do when traveling through the continents and around the world.

Additionally, he had no idea about how the esoteric science of how negative energy worked in the first place. That, too, was something that made his job extremely difficult. He needed to figure out how he was even going to leverage this powerful matter in his technique. It would take a human research team many, many years of research to develop such a technology.

In fact, he did know for a fact that the secret research team at the Kandrian Empire that worked on the project had been working on it for many years before it was finally used to save the Sekigahara Confederacy.

On top of that, he would also need to learn how to handle the matter without killing himself. From everything he understood about physics from his past life and as a Martial Sage with deep mastery in the principles of physics, negative matter was extremely dangerous and could erase normal matter and energy out of existence.

Thus, he needed to be very careful when handling it, lest he got himself killed. This wasn’t like the Gu, which he could condition his body to adaptively evolve by ingesting. It was much harder to survive, although even harder to produce and contain.

“I can arrange for you to go to the Gajanan Hadron Collider in our territory,” Lord Vakratunda clarified. “But be sure to remain discreet. Wormhole technology is the future, and it will be the difference between dominance and subservience. That is why all nations and states spend an immense amount of time spying on the progress of wormhole technologies, especially the dwarves, but also us therianthropes. You will need to maintain your stealth at all times. But whatever you plan to do, can you possibly do it in five days?”

“…It’s possible.”

Not even Rui could express certainty about it. Under normal circumstances, trying to manipulate an unknown, exotic, and powerful form of matter with properties perhaps unlike anything he had ever seen was too much. Tʜe sourc of ths content s novel⦿fire.net

However, he only needed its power temporarily to teleport to the Dragon Emperor and then teleport away. This meant that he could use the power of Soul Retcon to temporarily get him to the level of mastery that he needed against the Dragon Emperor before returning to normal.

He also had the Forge of Creation, which was powered by the Prophecy of the Void. In this case, he would need to create a predictive model for negative-energy exotic matter based on its quantum wave function while also using the Eye of Prophecy to create a new version of Worm Step that could utilize it efficiently.

It didn’t need to be anywhere near perfect.

It didn’t need to be mass viable.

It didn’t even need to be sustainable beyond a few seconds.

It just needed to help him bypass the space-time anchors.

“I do not know what your plan is, but you will need to be able to reach the Dragon Emperor in five days,” Lord Vakratunda remarked. “If you succeed, you will be able to achieve what nobody in the world has yet to achieve; it will be a breakthrough with wormhole technology, unlike anything we have ever seen.”

Rui was happy to hear that, of course. But that wasn’t why he was doing it. He was simply doing it to achieve his immediate goals and actions. He had no intention of actively partaking in the wormhole technology race. Everything he did was in the service of Project Water.

Rui nodded at Lord Vakratunda. “Then, allow me to visit this Hadron Collider immediately. I will need to get started as soon as possible to make it in time. I will also have to rest for when the time comes, too. Best to get started immediately.”

Rui knew what he was going to do over the next five days. He had hoped he would get the chance to spend time honing his mind, but alas, the circumstances demanded that he place his attention on other matters, so that he could achieve the goal that he sought.
