Mother Mara had never been in such a situation in her entire life. For the first time in her life, she had been entirely isolated from the East Genoran Flora Network as a whole, leaving her entirely cut off from the rest of the continent and nature as a whole. In all the centuries and millennia that she had lived, she had never once been subject to such a horrifying and humiliating experience.

As a Mother of Nature, she was constantly connected to nature. Thus, for it to be robbed of her was an almost traumatic experience, leaving her in a frantic desperation.

’Just die already, you filthy demon!’ she cursed as she unleashed an onslaught of attacks against Rui within the domain of death, unleashing a destructive onslaught of attacks upon Rui.

And yet, without the power of the Resonance of Nature and without the power of the flora network protecting her, she simply didn’t stand a chance against at his very strongest.

“Void of Water.”

Rui reactivated the technique, unleashing the full weight of his mind against her as he focused all his information-concentration on her.

’ARRRGHHH!!!’ she screamed in pain as an extraordinary surge of information eroded away at her mind, burdening her consciousness with a truly unparalleled amount of information flux.

The powerful burden bore on her so heavily that it took every ounce of her attention just to simply withstand Rui’s Martial Embodiment honed in on her, taking her attention away from the attacks that she had launched against him.

Without active guidance, the attacks collapsed.

Rui’s eyes flared with a fierce determination as he surged forward, unleashing an extraordinarily destructive attack on her main body.

With the sheer power of Gigabrain, he spontaneously deduced the resonant frequency of the bark that served as armor for the Mother of Nature, before activating Yin-Yang Spear and the Convergence of Casimir, empowering his attacks with quantum forces.

It allowed him to unleash an attack of extraordinary power, laden with invintium.

The Mother of Nature felt a sharp pang of pain across her entire body as his impact permeated deeper into the more vulnerable parts of her body, ravaging the internal botanical biotechnology that comprised her body.

Blow after blow, Rui ravaged her body, unleashing immense destruction across the entirety of her titanic trunk. Each blow shook the world with the sheer energy that he put into it, even as he unfurled an extraordinary offensive onslaught against her entire body.

’Stop!’ the Mother of Nature cried as she reeled from the information flux that Rui had unleashed against her. ’STOP! Halt your assault, you filthy demon. I am a sovereign of nature, to harm to such an extent is the highest of sins—!’

The attack sent cracks across half of her body, causing her to suffer much damage.

And yet, his attacks never stopped.

Each blow inflicted more and more damage to Mother Mara despite her extraordinary constitution. Mothers of Nature were truly difficult to kill on their own turf, and it reflected in just how many attacks it took to even bring her close to death.

As far as Rui was aware, she was as strong as a peak Sage when it came to defense and longevity.

Perhaps even stronger.

If not for him adaptively evolving to her durability by bypassing her invintium-laden armor, he would have had an even harder time inflicting damage across her entire body. At her scale, she completely broke the paradigms of defense that Rui was accustomed to.

It wasn’t just that her body was tough to harm, however.

She was tough, and she could regenerate damaged tissue the same way that he had done so.

Through nature.

Each time he inflicted an attack on her, she managed to absorb nutrients and energy from the ground and other flora to heal her wounds and restore the damaged tissue, undoing much of the progress that Rui had made with her.

And yet, he remained patient, unleashing a barrage of destruction on her with each blow. Although her regeneration was remarkably fast, it wasn’t fast enough to fix all the damage that he inflicted on her.

And that alone was enough.

He was completely satisfied with a constant amount of progress against an enemy that had him beat in the stamina department and would have him beat in a lot more without the Gu Domain.

Blow after blow, attack after attack, Rui began blasting away at pieces of her from the inside out, ravaging the vast biotechnological systems comprising the titanic tree. Mother Mara continued begging for her life, pleadingwith him to stop as the pain grew more and more intense, exceeding anything she had experienced in the past thousand years.

And yet, her words fell on deaf ears.

He never once responded to her.

He never once addressed her.

He simply continued his destructive onslaught, ravaging her internals with each blow.

RUMBLE!!!

’ARRGHHHH!!!’

The world shook as a final blow of great destruction unleashed a hole in her body, blasting open the other side.

’You… you… demon…!’ She managed to squeeze out. ’How… dare you…? How dare you harm me!’

Her speech slurred with pain and disorientation even as Rui continued incapacitating her with his Void of Water. He simply gazed at her with blood-red Suns shining with blinding brightness in his eyes as he snapped his fingers.

RUMBLE!

The world shook as the domain of death shifted.

It began moving in.

It began converging on her.

It began encircling her.

Pure terror emerged in the Mother of Nature as she understood what he planned to do.
