The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast
Chapter 1939: The Middle-Aged Mixed Blood Can’t Die Yet
The young man, who had always been an observer, finally spoke up, his voice eerily calm: "What other outcome could there be? It’s impossible for Pingan to let us go back; maybe we’ll end up buried at sea, feeding the fish."
"Ah!" One person couldn’t bear it and shouted, holding his head and weeping bitterly: "I’m afraid of death, I don’t want to die, what did I do wrong, why should I die, I was just involved in an experiment..."
The young man said gloomily, "What did we do wrong? Nothing but let those experimental subjects die on the operating table. I don’t know how many people died before I came here, but after I arrived, I counted every day, at least thirty people a day. Since I came here, over five hundred people have died."
"Shut up! Shut up!" The middle-aged mixed-blood angrily glared at the young man. He was starting to realize that the current situation was all because of this kid!
This kid is inciting us!
What is this kid’s motive?
"Shut up?" The young man laughed, his smile cold, his eyes icy: "I’m part of the new batch of people. If they need replacements, I would surely be the first choice, right? You sure can shut me up, can make many of us shut up."
Upon these words, some young people in white coats, or those who had just boarded the ship not long ago, became furious.
Someone rushed over and started punching and kicking the middle-aged mixed-blood: "When did you receive the letter? You knew we would die if this experiment failed? You surely won’t be in any trouble; the gentleman values you. He even wrote you such a letter! You think you can survive!"
"If we’re going to die, we’ll drag you to die with us!"
"I’ll kill you right now!" One white coat with bloodshot eyes grabbed a scalpel from the table and thrust it at the middle-aged mixed-blood’s neck.
These are all genius doctors, well-versed in every nerve of the human body.
This thrust would directly sever the carotid artery.
Fortunately, the young man caught the wrist of the out-of-control white coat and spoke coldly: "He can’t die yet."
"You’re still helping him?" The out-of-control white coat roared: "Did you take his bribe?"
The young man shrugged: "You should know, I was the first to stand against him. If he had given me benefits, would I stand out?"
The out-of-control white coat roared: "Then why are you stopping me! I want to kill him! Even if I’m going to die, I want to take someone with me!"
"If he dies, then we really have no hope." The young man lowered his voice: "As long as he’s alive, he can maintain contact with the gentleman and tell him that the vegetative person is still alive, still under observation."
The out-of-control white coat was stunned, the scalpel in his hand dropped to the floor, his emotions gradually stabilized, and his eyes grew brighter as he saw hope.
"Yes! He can’t die!" The elderly white coat also realized: "The gentleman trusts him. As long as he says the vegetative person isn’t dead, the gentleman will believe it! If he dies, none of us can escape!"
A female in a white coat picked up scissors and pressed them against the middle-aged mixed-blood’s chest, threatening coldly: "Call the gentleman now and tell him the vegetative person’s vital signs are somewhat weak."
"Is... is that okay?" Someone frowned, not quite agreeing.
"If we say everything’s fine, that’ll arouse suspicion." The female in a white coat squinted, speaking gloomily: "The vegetative person’s vital signs are unstable. We’re researching to summarize experiences, and need to perform new surgery. So until the next surgery fails, we’re all safe."
