Qiao Qiqi had been on a plane for twelve hours before finally reaching her destination. The first thing she did after getting off was to look for a place to eat. She was really hungry now. As soon as she got off the plane, she ran directly to a noodle shop next to the airport to eat. She found an empty seat and said, "Boss, one big bowl of noodles, extra cilantro and chili, please."

"Right away!" the server responded and went to prepare it.

A large steaming bowl of noodles was brought out, with a few slices of beef floating on top. Qiao Qiqi picked up her chopsticks and started eating, when someone suddenly sat down in front of her.

Without looking up, Qiao Qiqi noticed that despite the small size of the shop, it was quite packed. Apparently, hers was the last empty table, so she didn’t mind sharing it with someone.

She continued with her meal, but after a few bites, she noticed the person opposite her was quiet and hadn’t ordered anything.

A familiar voice spoke up. Qiao Qiqi looked up, and was instantly speechless when she saw the man sitting across from her.

"I’ll have the same, please," Feng Xiling gestured with his hand.

The server promptly went to place the order with the kitchen.

"Feng Xiling, what are you doing here? Don’t tell me you’re just passing by," Qiao Qiqi asked him, noticing he seemed to have lost some weight since they last met.

"I specifically came to find you. I know you’re here to rescue Spiritual Snake, so I came to help. What do you say? Want a free helper?" Feng Xiling said with a smug look.

"I don’t need your help. I can handle it myself." Qiao Qiqi didn’t want anyone else involved in this matter. Her plan was for Sixth Brother to fake his death, so he could finally be free to return home.

"You still don’t know where he’s being held. How are you going to rescue him? I know where he is."

The handsome man and beautiful woman drew all eyes in the shop, and even the server blushed a little looking at such a good-looking guy.

"I’ll eat my noodles first. Watching you enjoy yours, I couldn’t resist trying it myself." Feng Xiling picked up his chopsticks and started eating.

Qiao Qiqi ignored him and continued eating her own meal.

"You’re really something, not even calling me for such a big deal. I thought you’d come looking for me."

Feng Xiling continued rambling as he ate, and Qiao Qiqi tried her best to block him out, thinking to herself how much the man could talk, not even eating could shut him up!

After finishing her bowl of noodles, Qiao Qiqi quickly paid her bill, grabbed her belongings, and walked out. She needed to get a place to stay first.

Even if she was going to rescue someone, she needed to be well-fed and rested before doing so.
