Chapter 1141: Three For One Offer.

Then there were the Dao Lords watching all of the changes happen. They were sitting above everything, yet they were the ones most aware of what had just happened and knew why it had happened.

"Why did you do that?" Tepid Scholar asked in surprise. "What is going on?"

He was genuinely baffled and was a little bit concerned, but the Will of the World replied in a stern voice, "I don’t remember having to explain my actions to you."

Then it ignored everyone to inspect the good it had spent so much to purchase. It held the black ball of wind with both hands and rotated it to examine it from all sides.

When two hands were not enough, it created four extra arms to hold the Supreme Metac, just to ensure that it was real.

It didn’t need to do any of these, though. Right from the start, when the Supreme Metac entered the Blessed Heaven World, it knew that what it got was the real deal. It was just being overly enthusiastic about its first Cosmic Supreme Metac.

After examining the Supreme Metac, it began refining it. On the first attempt, it realized that there was no remnant Will in the Supreme Metac, which meant that there would be nothing to resist its refinement.

This made it nod in satisfaction and think, ’It is a good deal. Without resistance, I won’t have to waste time on refining. I can just comprehend the rules directly in peace.’

’If I use the mental power of the hundreds of billions of mortals in my world, I should be able to comprehend the rules and fuse with it in less than one year."

So it announced to the Dao Lords, saying, "I won’t be able to advance soon. I need to comprehend this Supreme Metac. I should be done in a couple of months."

Just earlier, Martial Will had said, "I don’t mind the absence of the nine pathways, though. Without them, I can now mobilize more power from the world."

But when he heard the announcement of the Will of the World, he changed his tune and said, "Damn it."

Then he turned to Loki and said, "This is your fault."

Loki ignored his accusations, partly because it was the truth and he couldn’t defend himself if he tried, but it was also partly because he had more important things to deal with.

He said to the Will of the World, "I want to know how to force a world to accept my pathway by invading it. I will give you 100 years of divine crystals and 10 units of celestial gold."

In response, the Will said, "I don’t need those things. The other nine already gave me the divine crystals I need. As for the celestial gold, I have some left over from the ancient era."

"Do you know how celestials and Dao Lords advance their ranks?" he asked. "If you know it, I might be willing to exchange for these two pieces of information and others for a Major Dao."

He needed the information about how to force a world to accept his pathway to increase his Domain in the loser realm. As for the information about how to increase his rank, he needed it because it was the only aspect of his power that he didn’t know how to improve.

These two pieces of information were very important to him, so he was disappointed when he heard the Will of the World say, "I don’t know."

But then he remembered that Black Chain had been able to raise his rank to 20, which gave him some ideas about how to get the information.

After doing some thinking, he said to the other Dao Lords, "If you have Supreme Metacs that you’re not using, I am willing to exchange for them."

"The rate is 3 lower quality for one higher quality. So three Grand Dao for one Cosmic Dao, nine Major Dao for one Cosmic Dao, and you can exchange 27 Minor Daos for one Cosmic Dao."

"You’re mad!" Heavenly Eye stated with certainty.

Sword Maestro also asked in confusion, "Who would give up on a Cosmic Dao?"

While everyone was confused or thought he was joking, Black Chain, who now had limited potential and couldn’t afford to waste his godheads on low-quality Daos, asked, "Are there any limitations on the pathways that can be used to exchange?"

Loki thought about this question for a while before saying, "There are some restrictions. I only want Supreme Metacs that don’t belong to this list. As for what you can exchange for, check this list."

As he spoke, he sent two lists of pathways to them to peruse. In the first list, he wrote down 25 pathways. These were 12 Grand Daos, 12 Major Daos, and 1 Minor Dao that he possessed. The nine Major Daos that he had just acquired were part of the list.

For the second list, there were only three on it. They were the Luck Pathway, the Death Pathway, and the Knowledge Pathway. As for the remaining four Cosmic Daos he possessed, they were nowhere to be found on the list.

After checking the list, Tepid Scholar asked him, "Can a Cosmic Dao I have that I don’t much like be exchanged for the ones on your list?"

Loki nodded as he said, "Of course. You only need to give me one Grand Dao with the Cosmic Dao you want to exchange."

"You also have to make sure that at least one of either the Cosmic Dao or the Grand Dao is not on the list. For your convenience, the Grand Dao can be split into three different Major Daos or nine different Minor Daos."

"That’s too expensive," Tepid Scholar said with a frown.

"I don’t think so," Loki said with a shake of his head. "Not only is no one willing to exchange with you, but I also make sure to remove remnant Wills from the Supreme Metac."
