The Bigshot Married Himself to the Heiress
Chapter 1373 - 1313: If Only Life Were Like Our First Meeting
The sky was azure, the sunlight warm and gentle, the air fresh and slightly humid.
Following a little path, Kiya arrived at the back mountain of Abyanabad University. Here, ancient towering trees stood solemnly, and bizarre rocks were scattered around, presenting an interesting sight.
In past years, when he came to Abyanabad University to give a lecture, he found the mountain exceptionally enchanting, so he ditched his bodyguard and came here alone.
The sun was pleasantly warm, so he simply sat on a rock, enjoying the tranquility.
Suddenly, he heard the rustling of leaves nearby. Kiya thought it was a squirrel, but upon looking over, he saw it was a woman.
Kiya was about to avoid her, but after one look, he couldn’t tear his eyes away.
The woman was wearing a tender pale yellow knee-length dress. The thin fabric wrapped around her soft and exquisite figure, her slender waist twisting slightly, soft and graceful, alluring and delicate... making Kiya blush deeply.
She stretched her body, her slender waist stretched like a tulip in spring, so fragile it seemed that a gentle touch could break it.
At that moment, Kiya felt an urge.
For a moment, he almost couldn’t control his hand, wanting to reach out to wrap around her slender waist...
After staring for a while, ears burning and breathing growing heavier, Kiya finally realized his impropriety. He tried to stand up, but startled the woman.
Being discovered, Kiya intended to greet her, but to his surprise, the woman dashed away like a frightened young deer.
Kiya felt regretful, worrying about where he could find her again. At his lecture, he saw her again.
He forgot what he talked about that day, but he remembered her appearance, even noting the jade bracelet she was wearing.
She had changed clothes, wearing black now that accentuated her snow-like skin. She sat in the last row, whispering with her female friend, thinking no one noticed her.
She was secretly snacking, like a cute little squirrel, her red lips holding a chip, occasionally stretching her pink tongue to lick it in... Kiya really wished he could be the chip, to be held in her mouth.
Kiya felt ashamed of his secret thoughts.
She was still a university student, and he was so much older than her. For all these years, he had lived with such restraint, yet he was moved by a girl.
She didn’t know that throughout the lecture, he had been watching her, losing focus several times, causing his speech to break off...
From childhood to now, he had given countless lectures, and it was the first time such a thing happened publicly. He coughed frequently to cover up his mistakes, and people assumed he was sick, delivering a lecture while ill.
Finally enduring until the lecture ended, the girl packed her backpack, hunched over to leave. Kiya whispered a few words to Gavin, asking Gavin to follow the girl.
After the event, he used the excuse of not feeling well to avoid social engagements, then silly as a young lad, he went to find the girl.
He hadn’t expected the girl to run back to the mountain; she seemed to really like this place.
He deliberately appeared in front of her.
"Hello, can you tell me where I am? I think I’m lost." He approached to start a conversation.
Only then did he get a closer look at her face. One look left Kiya feeling as if his mind went "buzz," his soul seemed to have been taken, and a rush of blood surged, thoughts racing, his chest heaving and heating up.
How could there be such a beautiful girl in this world, her elegance somewhat naive, yet inherently enchanting, from the tips of her hair to her toes she was like a supreme aphrodisiac.
Kiya knew he was smitten.
"Are you the Crown Prince?"
Kiya’s ears went red, turning his head awkwardly away, seemingly fixated on the leaves still swaying in the wind, though his eyes and mind were full of her image,
"My name is Kiya." He spoke hoarsely, a sound that only comes after a man is emotionally stirred.
This woman, without doing anything, had moved him.
The woman looked him over, her small mouth moved softly, "I thought **** was quite young, turns out you’re so old..."
Kiya: ...
"This is the back mountain of the school, if you follow this path straight ahead, you’ll find your way out."
She thought he was really lost, so she gave him directions.
"**** Your Highness, it was nice meeting you, I have things to do, goodbye."
"Wait a moment!" Kiya called out to her.
"What is it?"
"What... what is your name?"
She frowned, taking a step back, looking at him warily, "Why do you want to know my name?"
"Meeting is fate, I feel a connection with you, I’ve told you my name, shouldn’t you tell me yours as well?" He looked at her expectantly.
The girl was cunning, like a little fox, she replied earnestly, "When a man asks a woman’s name, it’s usually because he’s interested in her.
If I’m not being presumptuous, I’ll tell you, my least favorite fairy tale from childhood was ’Cinderella.’
Cinderella marrying the prince won’t result in happiness.
So, I’ll definitely never marry a prince!"
Kiya countered, "How do you know they won’t be happy? I recall the fairy tale’s conclusion was, Cinderella and the prince lived happily ever after..."
She giggled, "If they were happy, why not continue writing their story?"
"..."
"Because they simply wouldn’t be happy," she remarked sharply, "With so many royal rules, where is there any freedom compared to the vast world outside.
On top of that, there might be mother-in-law issues, I’ve seen your mother on TV, her face seems difficult to get along with, your future Princess Consort will surely suffer..."
"My mother is a wonderful person. My mother loves me, and she will love my Princess Consort too."
She looked at him like he was a fool, she gently gave a curtsey, "Then I wish you and your Princess Consort a happy and fulfilling marriage, Your Highness."
With that, she turned to leave, but Kiya grabbed her wrist. She frowned, looked at him, displeased, "**** Your Highness, you’re offending me!"
"I fell in love with you at first sight, I want to marry you as my Princess Consort, could you tell me your name? Let’s try dating?"
Her brow furrowed deeper, she yanked her hand back forcefully, "I told you, I hate Cinderella’s story. Can’t you understand?"
"What is your name?"
"I don’t want to tell you!" she said, "Oh, I forgot to mention, I have a boyfriend. We’re deeply in love, and after we graduate, we’ll get married, have two little kids, and live a very happy life together..."
