Annan Briggs and Abram Briggs met Adrian Desmond. Initially, they had many reproachful words to say, but seeing Adrian’s desolate and haggard appearance, they couldn’t bring themselves to speak.

Adrian greeted the two uncles and then briefly explained the situation to them.

"Night Owl, is he your enemy?" Annan Briggs asked.

"Yes."

Annan looked at Adrian, his expression becoming solemn. The old man knew that Sienna Johnson had taken a son-in-law from Abyanabad, and had even sent someone to Abyanabad to investigate this Adrian.

Adrian looked at the two men, sincerely imploring them, "Please help me find Sienna and Claire."

"We’ve already mobilized everyone we can, we should be able to find them soon," Annan Briggs said.

Adrian wasn’t so optimistic.

Adrian worried for Sienna, and also for his little daughter. He asked, "Uncle, do you know a little boy named Kevin Taylor?"

"Kevin Taylor?" Annan had no recollection.

Abram Briggs also looked perplexed. He asked, "What’s with this little boy?"

"Why?"

"I’ll check out this Kevin Taylor and have your aunt’s family look for him as well..." Annan Briggs looked at Adrian, who was exhausted and whose eyes were bloodshot, without saying much more.

Sienna was missing; likely, no one was more anxious than Adrian.

They each went off to take action.

At ten o’clock in the evening, Adrian still hadn’t found Sienna at the hotel, and the people he sent out hadn’t brought back any news; Adrian’s hope was diminishing.

The longer this dragged on, the worse it would get.

He stood at the hotel entrance, watching the comings and goings of the police, his gaze lingering on the yellow police tape.

Where on earth did she go?

Marion approached Adrian with a phone, saying, "Sixth Master, call from Sally."

Adrian knew Sally went to find Claire. Calling now should be about Claire’s situation.

"Did you find Claire?" Adrian asked hoarsely.

"Sixth Master, I’m currently in front of a military base. I found out Claire went in here, but I can’t get in."

The military base was heavily guarded; Sally couldn’t get in.

"Are you sure?"

"I’m sure!"

How did Claire end up at a military base?

"What’s the name of that military base?"

"Southeast Military Base."

Adrian didn’t ask Sally to break in; instead, he said, "Stay there; I’ll call you later."

"Yes, Sixth Master."

Adrian ended the call and called Annan Briggs. Annan was in the car and thought the call was about finding someone.

"Uncle, do you know the Southeast Military Base?"

"Yes."

"Claire is at the Southeast Military Base."

Abram Briggs asked, "How did Claire end up there?"

Annan Briggs slapped his thigh, suddenly remembering who Kevin Taylor was, "I know who Kevin Taylor is!"

"Who?"

"General Taylor’s grandson!"

Abram Briggs realized it too, "It’s that kid?"

Only Adrian was confused, but now that they knew who that brat was, the rest would be easier. Adrian was busy, but when he got the chance, he’d certainly give Kevin Taylor a good lesson.

That kid really had some nerve, daring to mess with his daughter.

Annan Briggs said, "I know General Taylor. I’ll go see him. You focus on finding Sienna."

"Thank you, Uncle."

"I told you, there’s no need for thanks between family."

After hanging up, Adrian stood there for a long time without moving. If Sienna wasn’t found in the hotel by dawn, she’d be taken away.

Marion was worried about Claire and asked, "Sixth Master, should we really not go and see? Claire is still so young..."

"The Briggs Family members are handling it. I believe in their capabilities."

Knowing that Kevin Taylor took Claire, Adrian wasn’t as worried, but his main concern was still Sienna.

Where exactly did Night Owl hide Sienna?

They’d searched for so long and still hadn’t found her, making Marion begin to doubt Adrian’s judgment.

"Sixth Master, we’ve searched the entire hotel and still haven’t found her. Is it possible she left the hotel already?" Marion asked cautiously.
