"Is Curly and Sheehan okay?" Noah Phillips asked.

Noah Phillips was also fond of Sienna Johnson’s two children. His gaze lingered on her abdomen for a moment, a shadow crossing his expression... the life he wanted could never be his.

Speaking of the children, Sienna Johnson’s expression softened, "They’re both great. Curly has become more sensible than before, and Sheehan is healthy as ever."

"That’s good."

Seeing Noah Phillips kept asking her questions, Sienna asked him in turn, "How’s the scandal that Night Owl exposed about your family being handled?"

Speaking of this, Noah Phillips felt a heaviness in his heart. He never expected someone so deranged to be part of his family.

"We’ve already suppressed the news," Noah said nonchalantly.

In truth, the impact of the matter was significant, causing extremely adverse effects. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that the good image the Phillips Family had built over the years was utterly destroyed.

Sienna Johnson hadn’t followed the situation’s development, but such a scandal has a significant impact on a family.

"People are good at forgetting. Let the crisis management team handle it, and everyone will forget after a while," Sienna Johnson said.

"Hmm." Noah Phillips was unwilling to say more.

Sabrina Conner was eavesdropping outside. Since it was winter, the windows and doors were tightly closed, so they couldn’t hear clearly from outside.

"Mila, what are they talking about for half an hour? What’s there to talk about?" Sabrina Conner said irritably.

"I don’t know."

Barnes Smythe squatted there, looking at the sky at a 45-degree angle, bored, counting stars.

"Achoo..." Sabrina Conner sneezed and then hurriedly covered her mouth, listening carefully, unsure if Sienna Johnson heard it.

Sabrina Conner and Barnes Smythe had just gotten into a fight when they came over, sweating all over, and after standing in the cold wind for so long, he felt a bit of a cold coming on.

...

Sienna Johnson naturally heard the sneeze. She glanced outside the window, frowning.

Noah Phillips saw it was getting late and it was inconvenient to stay, so he got up to say goodbye.

Before leaving, Noah Phillips looked at Sienna Johnson and promised, "I’ll help you find the doctor for Adrian Desmond as soon as possible."

"Thank you."

Noah Phillips gave her a small smile and walked out, with Sienna Johnson personally seeing him out.

Once they reached the door, Noah Phillips stopped and said, "It’s cold outside, you shouldn’t go out."

Sienna Johnson took a black long down jacket, put it on, and said, "Let’s go."

Sienna Johnson pushed open the door and went out first. Seeing her slender figure even in the down jacket, Noah Phillips followed suit.

Sabrina Conner and Barnes Smythe, who were eavesdropping, quickly hid behind some plants upon hearing Sienna Johnson come out.

Seeing Sienna Johnson and Noah Phillips walk away side by side, Sabrina Conner peeked out, noting Sienna was dressed for going out in a down jacket.

"Mila, look, is Madam going out with that wild man to mess around?"

In the dead of night, with just the two of them, Sabrina Conner’s mind raced with all kinds of inappropriate images.

"Mila, what should we do?"

Barnes Smythe turned to look at an anxious Sabrina Conner and said, "I trust Madam wouldn’t do anything to betray Sixth Master."

"Mila, you still don’t understand women. Women are the most fickle and unfaithful creatures."

Barnes Smythe looked at Sabrina Conner speechlessly, "Don’t act like you know women inside out."

Just like himself, Sabrina Conner had no romantic experiences and not even a history of secret crushes. How well could the two of them understand women?

"I can’t just stand by, I have to see for myself."

In this situation, Sabrina Conner felt it was time to show loyalty and went after them. Just as she reached the door, she saw Sienna Johnson returning.

Seeing Sabrina Conner, Sienna Johnson asked, "It’s late, are you heading out?"

Sabrina Conner stared at Sienna Johnson, questioning, "Madam, why is that man looking for you so late?"

Sienna Johnson paused, looking at Sabrina Conner, noticing his expression was quite off, as if... as if she and Noah Phillips were having an affair.

"Sabrina Conner, what are you trying to say?" Sienna Johnson retorted.

"Madam, Sixth Master is in a coma, and instead of being by his side, why are you meeting another man so late?" Sabrina Conner accused Sienna Johnson.

"My brother came to visit, am I supposed to avoid him?" Sienna Johnson replied with a cold smile.

"Sixth Master hates you meeting that man. When Sixth Master wasn’t in a coma, Madam didn’t meet him, but now that it’s only been a few days, that man shows up at our door in the dead of night... What will people think?"

"Are you suspecting I have something with Noah Phillips?" Sienna Johnson’s voice turned cold.

"Isn’t it true? Didn’t you like that man before? Don’t think we don’t know about these things," Sabrina Conner interrogated aggressively. "Don’t forget why Sixth Master is in a coma. If it weren’t for you insisting on taking Sixth Master to enjoy those snacks during the lantern festival, he wouldn’t have been drugged."

Sienna Johnson chuckled, "So it’s my fault now?"

"Of course, it’s your fault!"

Sienna Johnson’s eyes turned cold, and she asked rhetorically, "So do you know who instructed Ivy Evans to drug him?"

"Night Owl!"

"Yes, Night Owl! May I ask, I wouldn’t have had any dealings with Night Owl, so who provoked Night Owl against me?" Sienna Johnson stared at Sabrina Conner and continued, "Instead of blaming Night Owl, you blame me for Adrian Desmond’s coma. Don’t you find that unreasonable?"

Sabrina Conner knew Sienna Johnson was quick-witted and couldn’t win the argument, only managing to retort weakly, "Anyway, if you hadn’t insisted on taking Sixth Master to that festival, he wouldn’t have ended up in a coma."

"So, I should live like I’m in prison, avoid all social events, and reject any form of entertainment?"

"It’s a critical time now. As Sixth Master’s wife, shouldn’t you make some sacrifices for him?"

Sienna Johnson pressed her lips tightly, remaining silent for a while before asking, "Then, what do you expect me to sacrifice?"

Sabrina Conner said nothing, his face cold.

Sienna Johnson answered for him, "Do you think I should offer myself for the antidote?"

The chilly wind blew, and Sienna Johnson’s cheeks felt cold, but nothing compared to the chill in her heart at that moment.

She truly hadn’t expected Sabrina Conner to think this way, or perhaps Adrian Desmond’s subordinates all thought this way.

"Is that what you all think?" Sienna Johnson asked quietly.

"But we can’t let Sixth Master remain in a coma, right? You’re so clever, you must be able to get the antidote from Night Owl," Sabrina Conner said.

Sienna Johnson gave a bitter smile, "Night Owl agreed to give me the antidote if I leave Adrian Desmond and become his woman."

If she were in a coma, she would never want Adrian Desmond to sacrifice himself for an antidote.

Adrian Desmond’s possessiveness was so strong that if he woke up knowing she exchanged herself for the antidote, wouldn’t he be furious to death?
