"Didn’t you see that our Madam doesn’t like you?" Sabrina Conner said with a grin.

Ivy Evans retorted angrily, "Nonsense, how could my aunt not like me?"

Sabrina moved closer, and Ivy immediately backed away, thinking the man was trying to take advantage of her, "You pervert, stay away from me."

Sabrina looked at Ivy with speechless incredulity, wondering just how narcissistic this woman could be to think he was interested in her.

He clearly showed he disliked this woman, so where did she get the idea he was about to harass her?

For goodness’ sake, he was a man with principles and integrity.

He had no interest in such a fool, thank you very much.

"Ahem..." Sabrina cleared his throat and said seriously, "Miss..."

"Who are you calling Miss? Who are you calling Miss? Your mother’s a Miss, your whole family’s full of Misses."

In Orienta, the term "Miss" had become a derogatory term.

"Alright." Sabrina decided not to waste more words with her and said directly, "I know you’re infatuated with our Sixth Master; I advise you to stop daydreaming. Sixth Master belongs to Madam, and you’ll never have him!"

Ivy was shocked; she hadn’t expected this man to know her secret.

"You, what nonsense are you talking?" Ivy tried to cover up.

"Whether I’m talking nonsense, you know well in your heart! Get lost, don’t treat everyone else like an idiot. Even I’ve figured it out, let alone our intelligent Madam.

Right now, you’re just a joke; stop making a fool of yourself here." Sabrina waved his hand, looking utterly disdainful.

Ivy’s face turned white with anger, intending to barge in, but Sabrina was not the kind to show pity or tenderness. He pulled out a sharp dagger, blew over its sharp edge, and said,

"Not leaving yet? Do you believe I won’t make a few cuts on your face?"

Ivy was frightened by the dagger, took a step back to keep a distance from Sabrina, and shouted towards the inside, "Aunt, let me in quickly..."

"..."

"Aunt, this man outside is terrible; he wants to kill me."

Sabrina: ...

...

Sienna Johnson looked at Adrian Desmond lying on the bed. Adrian lay peacefully as if asleep.

She walked over and took Adrian’s hand; it was warm, which reassured Sienna a little.

"Adrian..." she called near his ear, but the usually alert Adrian showed no reaction.

Barnes Smythe had been guarding Adrian in the ward; Sienna asked him, "Why is he in a coma? What did the doctor say?"

Barnes replied, "The doctor couldn’t find out. There’s no injury, no poison, just deep sleep."

Sienna checked Adrian herself, not finding anything unusual.

"Adrian, wake up..." Sienna gently patted his face, trying to wake him, but it had no effect.

"What’s going on here?"

No one could provide an explanation.

Later, Sienna invited Dr. Holley for a check-up on Adrian. Despite Dr. Holley’s exceptional skills, he could find no cause.

Until one day, Sienna received a call from Night Owl.

"Adrian’s in a coma?" Night Owl asked.

Previously, Sienna would have hung up on this man, not wanting to say a word, but now, to buy Aaron Faber time to find Night Owl’s hideout, she had to prolong the call.

"What do you want now?"

"I’m here to tell you why Adrian is in a coma."

Sienna felt a tightness in her chest, holding Adrian’s hand tightly, "Why?" she asked.

"Doctor X invented a drug that can put people into a coma. That’s why Adrian’s unconscious," Night Owl laughed.

"How is that possible?"

Sienna trusted the Johnson Family members; she couldn’t imagine who would betray them and drug Adrian.

"Sienna Johnson, I want you to leave Adrian and come to me; otherwise, Adrian will stay in a coma for the rest of his life."

"..."

"Ha, let him sleep like a vegetable for life, and when he’s old and about to die, I’ll wake him up. It’s more amusing than killing him directly."

After his failed pursuit, Night Owl lost patience playing games with Sienna. Since being gentle failed, he’d resort to force.

He, Night Owl, never failed to get what he wanted.

Sienna looked at the still-slumbering man beside her; his breathing was even and soft, seeming no different from his usual sleep.

So Night Owl drugged him...

"Oh, and another thing I need to tell you. The drug does more than induce a coma; over time, it can damage the brain...even if he wakes up, he might turn into an idiot."

Sienna remained silent.

Night Owl continued, "I’ll contact you again in three days."

"Night Owl!"

"Call me by my name."

Sienna interlocked fingers with Adrian and softly called, "Javier."

"Yes, what is it?"

"You have the antidote, don’t you?"

Sienna didn’t expect to get an antidote from Night Owl; she was merely stalling the conversation, hoping Aaron Faber would quickly locate Night Owl’s hideout.

"Of course. But whether I give it to you depends on your performance."

"Leave Adrian, be your woman, and then you’ll give me the antidote?" Sienna asked.

"Yes!"

That’s utterly impossible!

If Sienna really did that, with Adrian’s strong pride, saving him this way would be worse than letting him die.

Sienna’s mind churned, contemplating how to solve this troublesome issue.

Doctor X manufactured the drug...but Doctor X was dead, meaning she’d have to get the antidote from Night Owl.

"What makes me, Sienna Johnson, worthy of your so much attention?" Sienna said self-deprecatingly.

Night Owl replied, "Maybe because you’re the first woman to reject me."

"..."

Night Owl continued, "Maybe once I get you, I won’t like you anymore." Night Owl was unfamiliar and bewildered by his feelings for Sienna, never having been in love.

Sienna was just another woman; there was nothing different about her. His persistence with Sienna was possibly just because he couldn’t obtain her.

Sabrina entered, signaling okay to Sienna. She knew Aaron Faber had located him.

But Sienna didn’t hang up; she needed to keep stalling Night Owl.

"Yes, men are always fickle."

"Then why don’t you come to me, let me tire of you and let you go?" Night Owl tempted.

"Heh..."

Night Owl suddenly cursed, and Sienna heard the sound of a silenced pistol. Though faint, she still heard it.

"Sienna Johnson, you damned woman!"

Night Owl was ambushed.

"Night Owl, see you soon!"

Sienna hung up the phone, looking at Adrian, her gaze steady.
