Chapter 301: Chapter 120: Mama, It’s Time to Drop Gold Coins

Catherine took a deep breath and pointed her War Hammer forward.

"Ninth Battalion, First Company, charge!"

With that, she charged out, taking the lead.

The third squad and the Undead Zombie Corps followed close behind, charging down the slope like tigers unleashed, fearlessly plunging toward the chaotic battlefield below.

Aided by the advantageous terrain, their charge grew faster and faster, soon becoming a rushing torrent that formed a spearhead.

Hearing the commotion, both the Giants, who were struggling to hold on, and the smug goblins, who believed victory was already in their grasp, looked up in stunned silence. They stared at the uninvited guests who had suddenly appeared, charging down the hillside.

Before either side could react, however, Catherine’s force had already carved into the goblin ranks like a dagger.

The goblins’ previously orderly siege formation was instantly thrown into disarray.

Seeing his chance, Gu Youji immediately took it. A bone arrow flew from his bowstring, followed by another and another, in a beautiful display of his Continuous Arrows skill.

One by one, Pale Arrows wreathed in an aura of death rained down like meteors, plunging straight toward the clusters of Shamans and javelin throwers at the rear of the goblin lines.

The other Skeleton Archers followed suit, unleashing a volley of suppressive fire.

"Aaaaargh!"

A series of screams rang out.

A goblin Shaman, in the middle of raising his Magic Staff to cast the Bloodthirst Skill, was struck through the throat by a bone arrow. A red flash of magical backlash exploded from its body.

Several goblin javelin throwers, clustered together, were riddled with arrows before they could even throw their weapons. They shrieked and collapsed, looking like porcupines.

The enemy’s ranged suppression weakened abruptly.

At the same time, the two human squads that had circled around from the right flank stabbed into the goblin formation’s side like sharp daggers.

They avoided direct confrontation with the tough, thick-skinned Bear Goblins. Instead, they harassed them from medium range with Crossbow Arrows and javelins, coordinating with practiced skill to snipe the wolf riders’ mounts and any goblin leaders attempting to organize a counterattack.

Instantly, the howls of dying wolves and the furious shouts of goblin leaders rang out one after another, throwing the goblin flank—already in disarray from the attack on its rear—into absolute chaos.

Meanwhile, Catherine, leading the frontal charge, was wreathed in a dazzling Holy Light. The Longsword in her hand became a silver whirlwind, every strike infused with Holy Light, effortlessly slicing through the goblins’ frail bodies.

She wasn’t using wide-area Holy Light skills. Instead, she focused her power into the edge of her sword and her Body Technique. Like a master sword dancer, she weaved through the goblin horde, slashing, parrying, and thrusting. In her wake, the little green-skins fell like harvested wheat.

But what terrified the goblins even more was the Undead Corps following close behind her.

Three Purple Zombies acted as Siege Hammers. They ignored the weapons hacking at their bodies, using only their terrifyingly strong fists and claws to send any goblins in their path—along with their weapons—flying, or tear them to shreds.

The Black Corpses formed a moving wall of flesh, relentlessly pushing forward.

Their steps were heavy and powerful. They constantly emitted horrifying, guttural growls as they savagely crushed everything in their path with their bodies and claws.

The addition of these reinforcements completely disrupted the goblins’ offensive rhythm. The fearless nature of the Zombie Corps, in particular, struck panic into the goblins’ hearts.

The Giants, who had been on the verge of collapse, suddenly felt the pressure on them lighten dramatically.

Though they lived a primitive existence, the blood of ancient rulers flowed in their veins. Their intelligence was far superior to that of the goblins, who relied solely on instinct and numbers.

In an instant, the Giant chieftain understood what was happening.

"ROOOAR! For Stone Hammer!"

The Giant chieftain let out a deafening roar. His presence swelled with power as he viciously swung his heavy stone axe, cleaving a goblin Warrior who was attempting a sneak attack from the side.

The other Giant Warriors, their morale soaring, roared in fury and launched a ferocious counterattack.

They no longer held their ground waiting for aid. Taking advantage of the chaos in the goblin ranks, they unleashed their full might, charging toward the area where Catherine’s forces were pressing hardest. Together with the humans and the Undead, they formed a pincer attack.

Goblins are natural cowards who prey on the weak and fear the strong. They had only dared to besiege the Giants because of their superior numbers and the support of their Shamans.

Now, attacked from the rear, harassed on the flanks, and facing a renewed, hardened enemy at the front, their once-high morale collapsed in an instant.

"Run!"

"The Shaman’s dead!"

"Monsters! They’re unkillable monsters!"

It’s unclear which goblin was the first to cry out, but the ensuing panic and fear spread like a plague.

The surviving goblin Shamans, seeing that the tide had turned, were already retreating stealthily under the protection of their bodyguards.

Without command or magical support, the common goblins became a disorganized rabble, scattering in all directions and screaming for their lives.

Even the ferocious Bear Goblins and wolf riders began to rapidly disengage from combat, seeing that the battle was lost.

"Pursue them! Don’t let a single Shaman or leader escape!" Catherine commanded with a wave of her Longsword, ordering her troops to give chase and eliminate as many of the goblins’ fighting forces as possible.

The human Soldiers immediately gave chase, beginning an orderly pursuit.

The squad of Skeleton Archers maintained their formation, providing ranged support.

As for the Giant Warriors, who had been holding in their rage, they roared like beasts freed from their chains. They charged into the routed goblin horde, venting all the fury from the earlier siege with their War Axes and massive clubs.
