Chapter 192: The Nature of The Undefined
Chapter 192: The Nature of The Undefined
As Kagami charged at Ash who was still embedded in the ground below.
The air cracked with the fury of his descent….
Ash spoke again as he used a concept.
Concept of Time
HUMMM!
In less than a heartbeat the massive size of Kagami came to a halt. It was as if momentum, friction, and inertia vanished.
Ash then morphed until he changed into his normal humanoid form.
His transformation unfolded smoothly, wings unfurling in shadow and light, horns curving sharply, his beauty cutting through the dust like a blade.
“Ah, much better.”
The words carried lazy satisfaction, the black mist of Endings curling from him thicker now, turning nearby debris to dust and silencing lingering echoes.
He didn’t even bother fixing it.
He simply began to ascend into the air as his eyes appraised Kagami.
It was very brief as there was nothing too special… aside from the aspect.
“Peak Overlord… Divine Bloodline… blah blah blah,” Ash said in a playful tone as he then noticed the aspect.
“How nice…” He said as a throne of pure desire appeared as he sat down.
He then eyed Kagami with his trademark smile.
Kagami’s aspect was the Akashic Runeheart — a crystalline heart fused into his chest, granting him access to conceptual runes without comprehension or study, letting him weave reality’s threads instinctively only limited by his rank.
Ash settled in with casual grace, his smile widening just enough to show amusement.
[You’re so unpredictable…. even for me.] Elysia said with a sigh as she was relieved, he was back.
She didn’t need to ask what happened, as everything he experienced would always come back to her.
She didn’t even know what to say… such a thing was something her scans never noticed. The primal concept of Nature. Like mentioned before, it was something all beings had…. and easily overlooked or subconsciously masked.
So, as she looked at the Harmony within his soul Core, she was amazed.
He didn’t adjust himself to be rid of Endings nor did he embrace it the way the Third did.
Instead, he made everything the way he desired it to be.
He was a being so beyond understanding, something never meant to be defined, someone who simply couldn’t be pinned down.
So why should the trivial idea of Endings work for him the way it did for others?
No, he wouldn’t just chase Endings, nor would he pursue the Continuation of things.
He would seek nothing but what he truly desired.
A bit confusing…but that’s what he was at his core. A confusing, incomprehensible being, that would live a life being undefined.
As he sat on his throne he willed his Verdict into action.
The moment it did, Kagami who had been eyeing Ash the entire time with hostility and confusion, he felt his precept falter until it disappeared completely.
Null Crown Affirmation
“Nothing shall be reflected in my presence. No rune shall be touched by any other than I.”
The moment this happened Kagami became restricted in ways he didn’t even know existed.
His concept of Reflections was rendered useless; his aspect couldn’t be used one bit…
He was stuck, and even if he used another concept, he was sure it would result in the same thing.
The verdict settled over him like an unseen crown, Kagami’s transformation unraveling as mirrored forms faded one by one, his Runeheart growing dim as its threads snapped. The restriction held him fast, his thoughts spiraling in horror at the abrupt loss of power.
He only wondered what this monster was keeping him alive for.
As if knowing what he was thinking Ash spoke.
“You know, I’ve been slacking lately.” He said before continuing. “I am the Patriarch of a Clan after all.”
As he spoke, he conjured another throne for Kagami and removed the restriction of time. As he unfroze he fell right onto the seat. Ash then created some fruit he enjoyed back on Earth, such as Grapes and Pineapples.
“Don’t mind me… help yourself.” Ash said as his voice rolled out in pure desires.
He wasn’t manipulating Kagami one bit, but he was just allowing himself to be free. He desired some leisure time right now as he began to make plans for the future.
Kagami frowned seeing the sudden change in character.
“How can someone…. whose caused the death of so many cultures, civilizations, and races… Act so laid back? As if you’re not a living breathing Abyssal Spawn!” He exclaimed, with his voice cracking with rage as the words spilled out.
Yet his hand grabbed pineapple, juice bursting on his tongue in unwelcome sweetness.
Hearing this Ash nodded, it was only right the guy be pissed.
’I did just kill his entire…. everything.’ He thought as he spoke.
“You’re not wrong, but let’s not fret over the past.” He said with a wave of his hand, seemingly saying the situation meant nothing to him.
’My lovely nexus… is there a way for me to save these foxes?’ He asked internally.
[Hmm, most of them yes. However, those who have been dead for too long, it’s impossible. Their souls have already left this domain.] Elysia said.
’And went where exactly?’
[Not sure, exactly… There are no clear facts about this in neither the Venia Galaxy nor Erebus. However, it’s known that the Concept of Beginnings or Life can help with reviving them…
Or you can use the Concept of Time and revert time backwards till the moment you came. Doing that will revive all those who are able to come back.]
Ash nodded as Kagami roared out again.
“Fret over the past?” As he swallowed some pineapples, he activated a concept.
Concept of Destruction
“You bastard!”
Ash simply waved his hand as he spoke again.
“Oh come on…”
“Just get rid of any opposing powers in my presence.”
The moment he said those words Kagami’s power sealed completely.
As long as Null Affirmation remained active and Kagami remained in his Mana Sense, he would be sealed.
Ash then manipulated mana a bit and pushed him back onto the throne.
“Alright I will cut to the chase…. Whether you like it or not, your… what is it again?”
[Eternal Shin Clan, Master.] Elysia reminded him.
“Right, Eternal Shin Clan… you guys will be under my rule, my banner, my clan… The Unrated Originat Clan.” He said with his smile and before Kagami could even utter a word, he continued.
“Aht.. don’t speak. Like, I was saying you guys will fall under my dominion. And as a gift..”
He used the Concept of Time not to revert the realm back to what it was before, but only to revert the time of those who could revive. Their conditions changed until they were in peak condition.
The reversal rippled out, bodies reassembling with soft gasps, fur regrowing, eyes opening in shock as time bent to restore them.
Then,
Infinite Desire Sovereign (Paragon)
This was a talent that had a number of uses. One being, made his allure off the charts, making those around him view him in a positive light. The moment this happened; affection began to soar upwards…
It didn’t take long at all.
Warmth washed over revived and survivors, hostility melting into admiration and longing. As those newly revived were still in shock to be breathing and Kagami who was right in front of him…
The gained affection was insane.
The longer those remained in his presence, looking at him, or even hearing his voice, they grew affectionate.
“Now, this is a small gift. When I’m done conquering this place, I will give you guys something better.” He said as he began to desire the realm into a better state than it was before.
All of this he did before their eyes, only to make the affection come in even quicker. The realm reshaped under his will — ruins becoming grand halls, ground blooming with flowers, air filling with sweet scents.
Kagami and the others watched on with wide eyes.
By the time he was done, it looked nothing like what Kagami foresaw using Conceptual Fate, Karma, and Destiny threads. And when Ash left, he had a realm full of Cosmic Overlords under his clan and banner.
[Utterly ridiculous.] Elysia commented shaking her ’head’.
“Well, it’s only gonna get more ridiculous, isn’t it?” Ash said with a smile as he flew through the skies until he passed the grey mist.
The smile lingered as he ascended, wind rushing past, mist parting to reveal the path ahead.
