The dog’s keen nose really lives up to its reputation; Little Grey, who has been professionally trained with the Dagger for a while, indeed has learned some skills.

For a big chicken leg, it’s evident that Little Grey is putting in extra effort today.

Others might not know, but she certainly does; Zhou Yaling is indeed inside the movie theater.

Meanwhile, Zero’s eyes bore a mischievous expression as he looked at the boss. What’s the reaction when a bystander finds themselves in the spotlight? Zero was very curious and excited.

Haha, this must be what humans mean by "you perform, then I take the stage."

Little Grey led Candy straight to the cinema, filled with confusion. Mo Jingchun could only jog behind.

Soon, Candy’s smile faded.

At the cinema entrance, Candy was stopped by a security guard as she was about to enter.

Though called a security guard, he was actually an elderly man whose security uniform shoulder badges were missing.

An elderly and a young person, they stared at each other, neither willing to budge.

"Old man, I need to go inside."

The old dandy chuckled disdainfully, tapping the glass with the polite notice.

"Little girl, it clearly states that pets are not allowed inside."

Candy glanced at it, feeling unsettled; her sister was definitely inside, but the old man wouldn’t let her in.

Just then, Mo Jingchun arrived belatedly.

The old man calmly glanced at Mo Jingchun and the group of bodyguards behind him, still not inclined to let Little Grey in.

People may enter, but pets are absolutely forbidden.

That’s the rule.

Mo Jingchun quickly recognized the old man’s distinguished aura.

Tugging at Candy’s clothes, Mo Jingchun quietly asked, "Did we buy movie tickets? What are you doing here?"

"You want to watch a movie? Can we come back tomorrow? We can’t just abandon Little Grey."

Upon hearing this, Candy rolled her eyes dramatically, "Who said I’m watching a movie? I’m here to find my sister."

"My sister is inside!"

"How do you know?"

Candy pointed her finger at Little Grey.

Their conversation reached the old man’s ears, and his expression changed; goodness, they’re here to catch someone; even more reason not to let them in.

Looking at Little Grey, Mo Jingchun turned back to Zero. Zero’s smiling, squinty eyes undoubtedly confirmed to Mo Jingchun that Zhou Yaling was indeed inside.

"Candy, listen."

"Hmm?"

"Let brother tell you a story, ’Waiting for a hare by a stump.’

"..."

After hearing the story, Candy’s eyes sparkled. She wasn’t hesitant; she sat right down on the steps nearby.

"Brother, let’s wait slowly. Besides, at home we’d be watching TV anyway."

Under the admiring gaze of the old man, Mo Jingchun patted his back and sat beside Candy.

He glanced at Zero, who was still watching the excitement, and Mo Jingchun snorted softly, "When do they get out?"

"In about half an hour."

At this point, the old man leaned in curiously, looking at the human-like Zero in awe.

"Are you the legendary AI Zero everyone’s talking about?"

Before Zero could speak, Mo Jingchun, already intrigued, laughed and asked, "Old man, you’re keeping up with the times!"

"Back in the day, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree!"

Bachelor’s degree! Mo Jingchun was stunned; in the old man’s era, a bachelor’s degree was highly esteemed, not comparable to now. Back then, even a technical college graduate outvalued today’s degree.

As they chatted, Mo Jingchun realized the old man was extraordinary. Simply put, the two communicated without a hint of a generation gap.

Yet, concerning the past, the old man remained silent, only smiling and letting it slide each time.

Around them, Wild Wolf’s group was on high alert, intensely nervous.

Two groups of hidden scouts looked at each other, worried about a potential clash.

Sitting on the ground, Candy even started to doze off. Finally, persistence paid off, and with Zero’s hint, Candy turned and spotted with surprise:

"Hahaha, sister!"

Holding Little Grey, Candy ran over. "Surprised! Unexpected!"

Seeing Candy unexpectedly appear, Zhou Yaling was dumbfounded.

Where Candy is, so is the elder brother. Zhou Yaling looked around quickly and saw her elder brother sitting on the steps, chatting with security.

Before Zhou Yaling could gather her thoughts, Candy already had her phone out, recording.

"Sister, just a quick interview, how do you feel getting caught sneaking out to play?"

"And this... um... handsome guy who might become my brother-in-law in the future, how did you get together with my sister?"

Suddenly, an unopened milk tea was shoved into Candy’s arms.

Candy looked down, and her mouth curled into a crescent moon’s smile.

"Well... I announce, your likelihood of becoming my brother-in-law just increased a bit."

At that moment, Mo Jingchun incredulously ran over.

"What the heck, Bin, you’ve started dating my sister?"

"I treated you like a son, and now you want to upgrade to brother-in-law!"

The bespectacled, bookish-looking fellow before him was indeed the top bunk mate from three years in high school. Even if he turned to ashes, Mo Jingchun would recognize him immediately.

Seeing her elder brother’s aggressive look, Zhou Yaling got scared and quickly positioned herself between them.

"Oh ~ This is better than a cartoon." Candy giggled, tugging Little Grey back a few steps to avoid the fray.

As the crowd grew, Mo Jingchun, with a sullen face, pulled Zhou Yaling and his "son" away.

Inside the quiet teahouse booth, Mo Jingchun rubbed his hands, while except for Candy, nobody could calm down and drink tea.

"Fess up, honesty leads to leniency."

"When did you two start?"

Zhou Yaling prepared to speak, but was silenced by Mo Jingchun’s glare.

"Ahem, Xiaochunzi, ours is a free romance."

"Ah, pfft!" Mo Jingchun looked disdainful.

"You two weren’t in the same class, how did you meet? And where did the contact info come from?"

"Xiaochunzi, remember that spring day in twelfth grade? You added my WeChat."

Suddenly, the booth was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Even Candy was curiously looking at her silent brother.

He seemed to recall; yes, there was indeed such a thing.

After carefully scrutinizing Qian Zhubin for a few seconds, Mo Jingchun slowly asked, "Where do you work?"

"Candy Technology."

"What?"

"Candy Technology, your company."

This left Mo Jingchun stunned.

"No way, I’ve never run into you at the company."

"It’s normal; I only started this month."

"Great, now I can openly make things difficult for you."

Saying this, Mo Jingchun waved to Zero, whispering a few words in Zero’s ear.

Under puzzled eyes, Zero left the booth excitedly.

A few minutes later, Zero returned with a pair of small shoes.
