While the convoy of six black armored cars traveled under the cover of darkness, time passed slowly in silence.

The next morning, Liu Yun was awakened by the commotion outside. Rubbing her eyes, she yawned and opened her eyes sleepily.

Sitting beside her, Ye Xuan noticed that she had woken up and said, "Good morning. Did you sleep well last night?"

Receiving his answer, the soldier nodded, then climbed down from the military truck.
