Supreme Warrior in the City

Chapter 2947 - 2947: Searching for the Strongest

  • Next Chapter

This man has merged with the Wind Walker's power. If the Wind Walker's memories are still there and overwrite his own…

Then this man would basically be the Wind Walker reborn.

And the Wind Walker was killed by Su Yang. If he comes back to life, he'll definitely become an enemy of the Human Clan, so this risk absolutely has to be guarded against.

Although this man claimed his mind and memories were normal, for safety's sake Su Yang still went to his family and friends nearby to ask about past events, to judge whether his memories were intact.

After evaluation by the family and friends around him, the final verdict was that his memories were normal, without any confusion.

Only then did Su Yang finally breathe a real sigh of relief. Though he still had some doubts in his heart, he had to admit that this method from the O Heavenly Sect was indeed workable.

Everyone else was also watching this situation closely.

Once they learned that this method really was feasible, they were all overjoyed.

With this method, they could rapidly grow their own forces just like the Guardian God.

Next, the most crucial matter was still to search for other Strongest, kill them, and cultivate Strongest for the Human Clan.

Everyone discussed this with Su Yang. They planned to send out large numbers of people to search for those Strongest scattered throughout the Great World.

Su Yang actually supported this proposal. Since the method was viable, it really could be used to boost the Human Clan's strength.

It was just that how to find those Strongest who had already walked out was a rather troublesome question.

After all, the scope of the Great World was simply too vast now. Once these Strongest came out, it wasn't so easy to track them down.

In the end, it was the Human Emperor who put forward a method.

According to his suggestion, their search range didn't need to be too broad; it should be around the Guardian Land. Because those Strongest who walked out have no Spiritual Energy, they definitely wouldn't go too far, lest they consume too much.

And they wouldn't stay too close to the Immortal Palace either, because that would make them easy to find. Back then they promised Su Yang they would help the Human Clan, yet in the end they never returned, so they'd definitely be afraid of being found.

So the place they're hiding should be just outside the Guardian Land, but not too far off.

Moreover, if they really wanted to hide, they would definitely choose some star that has a Spiritual Source and hole up in it. Only that way could they have enough Spiritual Source to sustain themselves.

With that, everyone could narrow down the search area, which made the hunt much easier.

Su Yang was also very much in agreement with the Human Emperor's reasoning. He divided everyone into ten small teams, each with more than twenty Strongest.

Then, through Chaos, he sent these people separately to regions not far from the Guardian Land, letting them spread out and search.

As for Su Yang himself, he personally led one team to search in this area.

Of course, for safety, he handed out Jade Pendants containing the Power of Earth to every team and to those staying behind.

This way, once they ran into any special situation, they could crush the Jade Pendant, and Su Yang would instantly sense it, know their position, and rush over to rescue them in time.

Once all preparations were complete, everyone began to move out in different directions.

Su Yang's own side had a dozen people with him, and the Supreme Dragon Emperor was among them.

It wasn't that Su Yang wanted to bring it along; mainly this guy had completely latched onto Su Yang and insisted on following him.

The guy was smart too—Su Yang bore the Earth Principle and was currently the strongest among the Strongest. Tagging along with Su Yang was obviously the safest choice.

Su Yang didn't expose this little scheme of his, and led the group to search an area near the Guardian Land.

Su Yang had been to this region before. Back then he'd come out looking for the Heaven Slayer and the Buddha Venerable and hadn't yet cultivated so many Strongest.

Now that he'd returned here, Su Yang was very familiar with the surroundings. He knew which places had stars and which didn't.

He flew straight along the direction where the stars were, passed by two empty stars, and finally, at the third star, Su Yang sensed a powerful aura belonging to a Strongest.

Su Yang's brows furrowed. He felt that there were five Strongest together.

So these five Strongest had even banded together?

This was something Su Yang hadn't expected. These Strongest had all left the Immortal Palace separately, yet after coming out they'd still managed to form a group?

Still, he didn't dwell on it, and led everyone over directly.

On the way, Su Yang concealed everyone's aura. Only when they reached the vicinity of this star and it became impossible to hide their presence any longer did Su Yang let it show.

In an instant, the five Strongest hiding inside the star were shocked and shot out of it one after another.

Seeing the situation outside, all five Strongest froze.

Because they recognized all these people!

And Su Yang recognized all five of them as well—they were precisely the ones he'd cultivated before. They had all agreed to help the Human Clan resist the Guardian God, yet after running into the Great World, they'd never made a move.

So it turned out the five of them had all been hiding here!

Su Yang smiled faintly. "Gentlemen, long time no see!"

"You entered the Great World and didn't return for so long—I thought you'd gotten lost, so I specially brought some friends to come look for you!"

"Didn't expect you to be hiding out here, living it up, making it quite a chore for us to find you!"

The faces of the five Strongest were all extremely awkward; Su Yang's words made their cheeks burn.

"Su Alliance Leader, you… you're here!" one of the Strongest said with a fawning smile.

"Just as you said, we really did get lost in this Great World."

"We truly hadn't realized the Great World had changed this much, that its scope was actually this vast."

"It was our carelessness. We couldn't find the way back. We wanted to return to help you, but no matter how we tried, we couldn't find the direction, sigh…"

As he spoke, he kept sighing, looking all helpless.

Su Yang let out a cold snort. "Really?"

"You've got it hard, then—got yourselves lost, and were still thinking of helping our Human Clan. Are we supposed to be moved to tears with gratitude?"

That Strongest waved his hands quickly. "No need for that!"

"We didn't manage to help the Human Clan and even made it so Su Alliance Leader had to come out to search for us. That's our mistake."

"It's we who should feel guilty toward Su Alliance Leader and toward the Human Clan!"

"Su Alliance Leader mustn't say such things, that would be more than we deserve!"

The other four Strongest all nodded repeatedly, looking as if they were truly remorseful.

Su Yang couldn't help cursing them in his heart. These five Strongest were really good actors.

At a time like this they were still putting on a pitiful, innocent face. Do they really think they can fool anyone?
