Over an hour later, Yu Zhiming got another call from Fu Xiaobo, who told him the person had been saved.

"At first, the paramedic in the ambulance didn’t believe it was hypothermia. He said it was a heart attack and gave Liu San CPR."

"When we got to the hospital, the ER doctor said it was hypothermia and that my response was very timely."

"So I told him it was all thanks to what you taught me, Uncle."

Yu Zhiming smiled and asked, "What else did the doctor say about this Liu San?"

Fu Xiaobo replied over the phone, "The doctor said it was only first-degree hypothermia. Now that his body temperature is back to normal, it’s not a big deal."

"But he still needs to be hospitalized for two or three days for observation."

Another was Tian Feng, also around fifty.

Besides being a bit tall, around 1.75 meters, in all other respects he was the spitting image of Guo Degang, with the same head shape and teapot-lid buzz cut.

The last one was named Gao Lei. He was the youngest, looking to be in his mid-forties, with thick, black hair and a very fit physique—the kind you get from regular gym workouts.

After brief introductions by Dr. Qi, Yu Zhiming began by examining Xu Zongcheng.

The moment he placed his hands on him to begin the examination, he discovered a problem.

"Uncle Xu, both of your lungs have some rather prominent hardened nodules. Have you ever had a serious lung disease?"

Xu Zongcheng grunted in affirmation and smiled. "That’s an expert for you. You know your stuff the moment you touch it."

"Xiaoyu, your reputation is well-deserved!"

"Xiaoyu, how are my lungs now?"

A CTU, also known as CT urography, is a type of enhanced CT scan that requires the injection of a contrast agent.

The contrast agent is injected into the patient’s urinary system. The CT scan then clearly displays the entire urinary tract during excretion—including the renal pelvis, ureters, bladder, and parenchymal organs like the kidneys—all in a single image.

When the CTU images of Gao Lei’s kidneys came out, Yu Zhiming saw at a glance that his left kidney was filled with rice-sized stones, at least twenty or thirty of them.

The right kidney also had small stones, but far fewer—less than ten.

The guy’s hydronephrosis in his left kidney was caused by the stones blocking the kidney’s tiny tubules.

’Having so many tiny kidney stones packed into the kidneys is actually quite rare.’
