Chapter 1450: Chapter 1440: Furious

Jiang Cheng patted Zhou Wei’s head and advised, "As long as you’re not stealing or robbing, there’s no profession that’s improper!

Zhou Wei looked at Jiang Cheng, smiling helplessly, and said, "Jiang, don’t comfort me. Many successful people think being a racer has no future!

"Do I look like a successful person to you?" Jiang Cheng retorted. He founded XunTeng at a young age, held at least one independent research patent, and mentored five consecutive top scorers.

All of this made Zhou Wei nod repeatedly, answering, "You did! But you’re so successful, weren’t you also just a racer at times?

Looking at the somewhat insecure Zhou Wei, Jiang Cheng seemed to see his younger self.

Was he once just like Zhou Wei, often discouraged by others? As he thought about it, Jiang Cheng couldn’t help but shake his head and said to Zhou Wei, "Zhou Wei, come with me to a place. I’ll tell you a story."

Zhou Wei glanced at his watch, slightly stunned, and asked, "My big boss Jiang, isn’t it class time now? Are you sure... sure...

Jiang Cheng shrugged and replied, "I don’t have a class this morning, we’ll be back after lunch, no criticism landed.

"Jiang, isn’t this... like skipping class?" Zhou Wei hesitated.

Jiang Cheng shook his head gently and said, "I’m your class teacher now, you have to listen to me. Haven’t you skipped class before? Let’s go.

Upon hearing Jiang Cheng mention his own "glorious" past, Zhou Wei couldn’t help but blush.

Without waiting for Zhou Wei’s response, Jiang Cheng pulled him out of the office and walked out the school gate.

"Jiang, where are you taking me?" Zhou Wei asked.

Jiang Cheng had one hand on the steering wheel and patted Zhou Wei’s shoulder with the other, saying, "Don’t worry, I’m not selling you off; we’ll be there soon! Surprise for you!

Thinking about the two exams Jiang Cheng gave as gifts to the whole class, Zhou Wei felt a bit uneasy.

Will this teacher dig another hole for me to jump into?

Soon enough, they drove to their destination. Jiang Cheng told Zhou Wei to close his eyes, guiding him into an open place.

Zhou Wei slowly opened his eyes and was deeply moved by the surroundings.

"Jiang, this is a racetrack!" Zhou Wei said excitedly, looking at Jiang Cheng. Jiang Cheng smiled at Zhou Wei and said slowly, "Yeah, do you like it? Of course, thanks, Jiang. But, how did you know about this place?" Zhou Wei said while smiling.

Jiang Cheng reached out his right hand to pat Zhou Wei’s head, saying slowly, "Let me tell you a story!

Without waiting for Zhou Wei to reply, Jiang Cheng began, "Once upon a time, a boy also loved racing, but his family thought it was dangerous, and his teachers thought racing was unlearned and had no future. He didn’t give up on his dream, but buried it deep and kept quietly persisting.

"And then?" Zhou Wei couldn’t help but ask. "Then, the boy became successful; he found a new direction, but he persisted in that racing dream with his achievements. Now, let’s say things are going alright!" Jiang Cheng replied.

"Who is that person? Can I meet him?" Zhou Wei asked curiously.

Jiang Cheng smiling helplessly said, "Far and near, just your current Jiang, me!

Zhou Wei was immediately stunned by Jiang Cheng’s words, his mouth wide open and unable to close.

Jiang Cheng looked at Zhou Wei’s astonished face and couldn’t help but find it amusing, "What? Don’t believe it? I used to race into the national finals! If you don’t believe it, want to compete with me? This new Jiang ain’t truly as good as expected, he got a district first prize in racing?

Zhou Wei snapped out of his thoughts, shyly sweeping his hair off his forehead, saying, "I wouldn’t dare to compete with you, Jiang.

"What dare not, manly guys should compete!" Jiang Cheng said indifferently.

Zhou Wei puckered his lips, saying, "I wouldn’t dare compete with my teacher, wouldn’t it be embarrassing if I lost!

Jiang Cheng couldn’t help but chuckle, saying, "When we’re out of class, we’re not teacher-student; we’re good friends, understand?

Zhou Wei nodded slightly but didn’t reply.

"So you can confidently compete with me, no fear!" Jiang Cheng persuaded Zhou Wei.

But Zhou Wei seemed to have a difficulty, keeping his head down silently.

Jiang Cheng asked for some time, but Zhou Wei kept quiet. Elder Jiang...no, brother, I don’t have a car; I’ve seen many come by themselves!" Zhou Wei finally spoke about his difficulty. ℴ

Jiang Cheng pinched Zhou Wei’s cheek, saying, "Look over there! Zhou Wei looked in the direction Jiang Cheng pointed, a row of top-tier sports cars parked grandly.

"All those cars are mine, pick any from them that catches your eye!" Jiang Cheng signaled.

Only then did Zhou Wei become happy, picking the cheapest-looking one from inside to compete with Jiang Cheng.

Of course, in results, Jiang Cheng crushed Zhou Wei! "Brother Jiang, you’re amazing!" Zhou Wei couldn’t help but praise Jiang Cheng.

Jiang Cheng smiled and replied, "To become what I am now, I practiced a lot! So in the future, if I’m not around, you need to practice more so your skills improve!

Upon hearing this, Zhou Wei was very grateful to Jiang Cheng, deciding to study hard to repay his teacher-friend Jiang.

After returning to school, Jiang Cheng particularly developed students’ own interests, supporting them in pursuing their dreams.

Once, Jiang Cheng even used his formal class time to train a group of basketball-loving kids, sometimes even joining them in playing. The kids loved the new Jiang, not skipping class, unusually fond of the newcomers.

However, elsewhere, in the principal’s office.

"Principal, look at this new teacher Jiang starting out here, not teaching and playing with students! What logic?"

The head teacher exclaimed at the principal in the office chair. He had since the class leader incident been unhappy with Jiang Cheng, thinking of him as a threat.

Today, grabbing the chance, how could he let Jiang Cheng off easy? "Hey, don’t interfere, every teacher’s style is different, maybe Jiang’s like that stirs their learning passion!" The principal smiled back.

"They’re suggesting Jiang is a big shot not to mess with, though I’m oblivious to his identity, best to avoid conflict!"

The principal quietly scripted mentally, choosing not to disturb further.

The head teacher angrily slapped the table, saying, "You won’t manage, consider if all teachers act like this, how would you run this place?"

Finished, he stormed out the principal’s office.

As the principal was troubled with this, a student walked in.

"My dad told me to report in!" The student casually chimed, sounding smug, as the principal noticed the smug student, asked, "Are you a transfer student? Didn’t transfers close last month?"

The student seemed more composed than the principal, saying, "I’m not managing the school, how should I know your arrangement?"

"Get out!" the principal, hearing the student’s provoking tone, couldn’t help but scold.
