When animals heard the roar of a beast stronger than themselves, their instinct was to flee—especially if it was the roar of a dinosaur. Dinosaurs were once the apex predators of the earth. Their roars were unmatched.

She immediately put the thought into action!

Hua Buwan hurriedly pulled out her phone and quickly found a video from a dinosaur documentary. Her hands trembled slightly, leaving streaks of sweat on the screen as her fingers swiped across it.

Seeing her shivering while searching for a video, Ling Qianjun asked in confusion, "Did you think of a way out?"

Hua Buwan gave a slight nod just as she found the exact video she wanted. She handed the phone to Ling Qianjun. "Listen to this. The wolves should be terrified of this sound."

Ling Qianjun quickly took it and held it to his ear. In an instant, his pupils constricted in fear, and goosebumps erupted all over his body. His breathing quickened. "This will work. This sound will definitely work. Buwan, you are truly brilliant!"

If Ling Qianjun had his personal guard with him, he was confident he could wipe out this wolf pack. But he was alone, and the government officers were all show and no substance. He had no certainty of victory on his own. However, with Hua Buwan’s proposed method, he now had the confidence to drive the pack away without a single person in the trees getting hurt.

"Here, I transferred this video to your phone earlier as well. Take it out now. We’ll play the sound at the same time," Hua Buwan said. After a moment’s thought, she added, "We need to turn the volume up to the maximum."

"Alright." Not daring to delay, Ling Qianjun hastily fished out his phone and, with Hua Buwan’s help, opened the video.

Down below, the wolf pack had finished feeding. Reinvigorated, they gathered together and listened to the howls of the Wolf King, who was now issuing orders.

When Hua Buwan looked down, she noticed the Wolf King glaring at the nearby tree where the government officers were taking refuge. Moments later, the pack charged toward it. One wolf braced itself as the base, then another took a running leap to land on its back, followed by another, and another...

Seeing this organized maneuver, the government officers screamed in terror. "AHHH!"

The people hiding in the surrounding trees fared no better. Clinging tightly to the trunks, they wept bitterly, convinced that their doom was sealed.

Hua Buwan was also stunned by the wolves’ intelligence. Her heart pounded so violently it felt as though she might drop dead the next second.

"These wolves are terrifying. I can’t believe they actually thought of stacking themselves like this! With their numbers, they will definitely be able to reach the branches," she said frantically. "We need to hurry, or the government officers are as good as dead."

Hua Buwan maxed out her volume, and Ling Qianjun quickly followed suit. The two exchanged a glance and pressed the play button simultaneously.

"ROAR!"

"ROAR!"

The deafening roar of a Tyrannosaurus Rex echoed through the forest. Birds and beasts instantly scattered for their lives, while snakes and insects frantically burrowed into the dirt, digging as deep as they could.

The entire forest was thrown into chaos. Even the native apex predators deep in the mountains were terrified enough to pack up their entire families and flee through the night.

The Wolf King, who had been standing proud and majestic on a rock just moments before, instantly tucked its tail between its legs and cowered like a frightened dog the moment it heard the T-Rex.

"AOOO!" The other wolves shivered in abject terror. Completely abandoning their attempt to climb the tree, they scrambled frantically after the Wolf King, fleeing into the distance as if their lives depended on it.

Hua Buwan and Ling Qianjun played the T-Rex roar one more time before hastily putting their phones away.
