Chapter 2111: Disorder Dies, Time Returns (I)
Chaos Sky cursed to himself when he saw Skyward flee the battlefield and made his escape as well! It would be the greatest loss if he died because he stayed.
This prompted a general, frantic retreat from the rest. However, Disorder killed many of them in a split second. The presence of death began to permeate through the four directions.
Disorder ground his teeth. Trying to get away?
Don’t even think about it, particularly Chaos Sky! He’s a primary body. If I kill him, I’ll be able to extract some life force and extend my own lifespan for a bit.
......
The outside world was falling to pieces, whereas time flowed freely in the blood-red world. It was like a resource free for the taking.
Not all five thousand daos had their own spirit congregate in a demon or god, but many still appeared in the new chaos.
One hundred years passed in the blink of an eye. Forefather Blood created his world on this day!
This was an immense occasion in the inner chaos. Almost everyone was aware of it. The towering pillar of blood qi in the distance had become increasingly formidable over the past one hundred years.
His dao centered on blood!
Blood was the first supernatural character to form in the chaos and was the foundation of all beings and spirits.
Forefather Blood stemmed from Li Hao, Long Zhan, and Chaos Sky...
All of their fresh blood melded together had created this entity. He was born knowing dao and with the idea of creating his own world. Li Hao’s greatest desire then had been to create a world. Clearly, Forefather Blood’s goal of doing so was influence from Li Hao.
He carried some persistence and determination within his blood.
I want to create worlds and explore new frontiers!
There was no time in the chaos, and only now did he understand what was meant by time!
One hundred years had rushed by.
Li Hao hadn’t done anything but observe this new chaos. He first took in the appearance of demons and gods, then whether or not the great dao was complete, whether the false chaos was stable enough for not, and if there was anything lacking in the great dao...
One hundred years passed in the blink of an eye!
Li Hao blinked with astonishment. That was fast!
The chaos had developed rapidly in the one hundred years. First there were large numbers of demons and gods, some of whom that the young man could identify.
Of course, all of them were unaware of who they were and genuinely thought that they were a primordial being of this chaos. However, some of their personality could still more or less be gleaned.
For example...
Nah, forget it. Li Hao shook his head as he looked into the distance. He couldn’t be bothered to say anything about the big dog in the distance. Who knew if that dog spirit was Panther or New Martial’s Heavenly Dog?
They pretty much acted the same, eating everything they encountered.
It probably wasn’t Panther since Panth was a bit more restrained than that. It was also cultivating calamity dao these days, so the fellow running around, frantically eating everything in sight was probably the Heavenly Dog.
It’d eaten at least a dozen other entities over the years.
Would those powerhouses remember the reason for their demise in the new chaos after they returned to their primary bodies? Would they take out their irritation on the dog?
Probably, assuming that they could actually beat the Heavenly Dog.
The new chaos developed at a very fast pace!
Since there was no competition at first and with the first batch of denizens originally being powerhouses, as well as there naturally being spirit within the environment...
Spirit was usually reserved for ninth ranks. Given its current abundance and the favorable environment, this was the greatest opportunity possible for the connate demons and gods. They enjoyed advantages not possible for anyone else.
This was the benefit of getting in on the ground floor.
For Li Hao, all of the changes, development, and improvement of the chaos were within his perception. The changes of the demons and gods also registered in his senses. He’d cultivated over the past one hundred years as well, focusing on perfecting his internal world.
With blood as river, cells as worlds, and bones as dao...
He was turning himself into a dao body, a real dao body!
Of course, he refrained from absorbing too much dao strength. At his level, he might empty this unstable chaos if he devoured everything he could get his hands on.
Thankfully, more energy was surging in from the outside. It would seem that there were more people dying. All of their energy, life force, and dao strength went into Li Hao’s blood-red world.
It also strengthened Forefather Blood.
Li Hao could sense it, that this being was likely already a peak seventh rank. He was making steady headway toward eighth rank. It was astonishing.
Although many of those who’d entered the new chaos were eighth rank, to reach eighth rank in just one hundred years...
Alright, fine, it might’ve been several hundred years by the time Li Hao entered his chaos. To develop from muddled ignorance to eighth ranks in a few centuries...
Okay, that was still incredible.
“It looks like my blood is highly intelligent!” Li Hao chuckled softly.
He couldn’t bear to waste anything when Long Zhan was beaten into vomiting blood, so he’d collected all of the blood and infused it into his new chaos. He’d then tracked the ‘blood’ character as the first of the supernatural characters, so one could say that... this forefather of blood was essentially made of his blood.
At least, mostly his blood!
Long Zhan was a big part of the rest. The others were also part of the remainder.
All of them were premier powerhouses!
In this age of the chaos, energy was so dense here and being born with a connate knowledge of dao meant that swiftly proceeding to eighth rank was normal. Here, inhabitants came into existence connected to the worlds.
At the same time, Li Hao could sense that the development of this chaos had become slightly different.
There was no concrete system yet, but Forefather Blood’s dao was different from his. Many daos were splintered branches of each other in the young man’s eyes, but Forefather Blood had integrated them.
This was what Li Hao had done before—combining dao with spirit!
Forefather Blood was a spirit, the first spirit of the chaos. He only had one dao of blood. While the strength of this dao... was somewhat intermingled, it was still immense. It boggled Li Hao’s mind that a single dao could grow to this level!
Order was yet to be established in the new chaos. Once it was and became the rules of heaven and earth, then this dao would become even greater!
“It looks like Disorder is still alive, if order hasn’t been fully created yet...” Li Hao murmured. Granted, it was normal that Disorder was still alive since time was yet to return to his grasp.
The young man looked on with resignation. I thought you’d be dead by now! It looks like there’s a huge gap in the rate of time between the inside and outside.
This blood-red chaos really does look like the genesis of existence now.
“That’s fine, I’m not in a hurry...” Li Hao looked into the distance, at where presences sped through the void.
These connate demons and gods didn’t know the meaning of restraint, nor would they choose to do so. There was nothing worth restraining themselves for!
They were by nature invincible and the first inhabitants of the chaos. A large number of them had gathered by Forefather Blood’s location since it was about time for this attempt.
There was no actual concept of time in the chaos. What Forefather Blood meant by one hundred years had been a subconscious concept.
Li Hao was probably the only person to actually know how much time had passed.
With so many gathered in a particular spot... it looked like the day of creation was at hand.
The young man decided to rush over as well after some thought. He wanted to see if there were more differences to observe.
While the development of spirit had been the continuation of some people’s consciousness, the combination of so many different minds might... lead to new creation.
Maybe there would be something he could study.
......
Demons and gods abounded in the chaos. They’d assembled in a motley array. All sorts of beings could be seen, but humans were the majority. Or rather, humanoid forms.
There were cats, dragons, phoenixes, tigers among the others. Everything was present!
Some retained some of the characteristics they’d originally had, others decided to fashion likenesses that’d never been seen in the chaos before.
All of them circled one person—a blood-red humanoid figure.
He was the first god of the chaos, Forefather Blood!
His presence was much more commanding than the audience around him.
Some of the attendees conversed with their consciousness. “What is this world creation that Forefather Blood is going to do? Why does it sound kinda familiar? What is a world?”
“I don’t know... I just know that he’s really strong!”
“Yep, he’s very strong!”
“The first in the chaos!”
“Maybe not! A demonic flame in the south has attained dao, I think it might be as strong as this one!”
“That’s true... I sensed it too, how strong it is. There’s also a powerhouse appearing in the north...”
“Oh right, have you seen someone wearing clothes? At least, I think it’s clothes. There’s also a small spike with him, he calls it a sword!”
“That guy? I saw him once and thought he wasn’t that strong, but my heart missed a beat when I drew close to him. I thought the chaos would collapse when he took a glance at me. It was terrifying! Are you talking about him?”
“Yep!”
“You’ve seen him too?”
“I did!”
“......” A group of demons and gods chatted. The one they spoke of wore clothes as white as snow and a sword at his waist. He was debonair and dashing, but also incredibly terrifying.
They felt like they might fall apart as soon as they drew near. It was like that one was the center of the chaos!
As mighty as Forefather Blood’s presence was today, he also felt that... he wouldn’t be as terrifying as that one.
No one knew what that one’s name was. The chaos demons and gods liked to identify themselves, but that one never spoke. He simply wore a smile on his face, like he was gazing upon a bunch of children.
No one dared approach him. They just knew that there was an invincible heavyweight in the chaos. Some people called him Sword User. It was also their first time learning what a sword was. Was it powerful?
Is it as strong as my claws?
Or as powerful as my wings?
We don’t know!
That one had never taken action. No one dared provoke him either.
