Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station
Chapter 1313 - 366: Scavenger
In the Star System Chen Ming chose, there is the existence of a Wormhole.
Whether it is a normal Wormhole or a Wormhole surrounding the star as it moves, it means this Primordial Star System Chen Ming named is connected to some Star System in the universe.
And the special Wormhole linked to another Star System might also be a very special Star System.
Chen Ming decided not to approach that Wormhole for now. Instead, he first wanted to see if the other Planets were hiding similar issues.
Supreme Point shut down all its non-essential devices, initiating a Star System Level sensor to conduct a high-power scan of the Primordial Star System.
After the scan, Chen Ming found no issues with the majority of Planets within the Star System.
Only on the orbit of the habitable Planet and habitable satellite were many spaceship wreckages.
The wreckage of the Mechanical Race’s spaceship.
After confirming that the area of concentrated wreckage showed no signs of any active presence, Supreme Point slowly moved closer.
It got close enough for Chen Ming to see the location of the spaceship graveyard with the naked eye through the porthole.
This graveyard looks quite strange because all the spaceship wreckages inside are incomplete.
Of course, wreckages are supposed to be incomplete, but the parts missing from these spaceship wreckages are surprisingly consistent.
All the spaceships have lost their Weapon System and main control system, these two crucial components.
All spaceships seem as if something has dug out a part of them.
On this basis, other aspects of the ship’s damage appear.
That’s why this is very strange.
Under normal circumstances, if a spaceship is sunk, it might indeed lose the Weapon System and main control system, but all the spaceships sunk here losing these two parts is obviously unusual.
Chen Ming immediately sent out several small ships to capture wreckages from a few spaceships and dragged them close to Supreme Point, inspecting these spaceship wreckages, aiming to ascertain what exactly happened.
However, neither the wreckages Chen Ming dragged next to Supreme Point nor any wreckages in this graveyard retained a main control system.
Nor was there any leftover clue on any wreckage to help him figure out how these spaceships ended up sunk here.
Since, without the main control system, any storage units or devices that could have left behind clues naturally were missing too.
Even if Chen Ming wanted to use Maintenance Spiritual Energy to recover content from certain recording devices, he would at least have to find the original devices first.
He couldn’t use other materials to repair the already lost storage units, and then recover former data from these new-manufactured objects which essentially hadn’t stored any content at all.
That has no relation whatsoever.
He couldn’t find any clue at all.
He had no idea how this ship graveyard came to be formed, nor did he know who the ships here had clashed with, leading to this outcome.
From the angle of damage to the ships here, Chen Ming even thought it might have been caused by an internal conflict within the Mechanical Race.
He suddenly remembered that half a year ago there were some reserving Nanorobots equipped for defense work with logic programs for destroying Mechanical Race in that relic.
Previously, Chen Ming thought it was due to damage from keeping the Nanorobots for too long.
But seeing this situation here.
In the entire graveyard, he only saw wreckage of the Mechanical Race’s spaceship, only those ships were lost here, it indeed seemed possible it was an internal war.
Just unsure what type of high-temperature Weapon the Mechanical Race used, causing many spaceship wreckages to show signs of melting.
Even some Main Ship wreckages sunk here were like this.
Chen Ming piloted the spaceship into the graveyard area, observing everything around.
He suddenly discovered that the position of some wreckages in this graveyard seemed odd.
Not seemingly pulled by the gravity of the Planet below and the satellite nearby to look like this.
But rather as if some massive unknown force had passed through this wreckage causing some spaceship wreckages’ positions to change in an undesired way.
Chen Ming carefully analyzed the data of the spaceship wreckage trajectory just obtained, finding this wreckage area indeed seemed to have been interfered with by some external force of a massive unknown object.
That is truly a massive unknown force, larger than all the various levels of warships, even Main Ship wreckages floating in the Planet’s orbit.
The power possessed by such existence must be highly terrifying.
However, Chen Ming didn’t feel fear or any other negative emotions.
Instead, he was even more eager to search these wreckages, trying to find some clues.
But no matter how Chen Ming searched, how he made the spaceship scan, he couldn’t find any traces of external influence on these wreckages.
He could only find the remnants themselves and traces left by other ships.
This at most could only prove there had been close combat between these ships, unable to prove what sort of colossal thing left behind such marks.
This rather further indicates the possibility of an internal conflict within the Mechanical Race.
There’s absolutely no way to determine what left such traces.
One could only say the universe always harbors many unknown things, leaving people unable to figure out why they exist.
Chen Ming didn’t have a shred of fear towards those unknowns, only curiosity.
