Space Odyssey from Abandoned Mining Space Station
Chapter 1312 - 365: Half a Year (Part 4)
This should be the mineral extraction machines left behind by the Shimmering Civilization, still operating to this day.
And judging from the planetary scans just conducted, almost every planet harbors vast open-pit mineral resources, along with numerous traces that indicate prior extraction by something.
Evidently, these were the deeds of these mining drones.
This star system is one that has been mined by robots from the Shimmering Civilization era, yet still remains exceedingly rich in mineral resources.
Chen Ming promptly captured one of the mining drones, and after using Spiritual Energy to control it, confirmed the location to which these mining drones return after collecting resources.
It was indeed the very location Chen Ming designated three years earlier.
Chen Ming hesitated no more.
He once again activated the Supreme Point’s Teleportation Engine and headed toward the galaxy that was named ZI-X.
Generally speaking, only colonized star systems have unique names rather than code names, and the earliest colonizers hold the privilege of naming galaxies and planets.
Of course, Chen Ming naming such a star system exceedingly far from the Empire does not require the Empire’s certification.
Thus, when Chen Ming laid eyes on this star system, he directly named it.
Primordial Star System.
The reason Chen Ming named it instantly was because, at the moment teleportation ended, a vast star system comprising eight planets and three satellites appeared before him.
Although Chen Ming knew from earlier observations that this destination had multiple planets and satellites,
it was not until he truly arrived there that he understood the specifics of these planets and their value.
This is a perfect star system.
Starting from the position close to the star and moving outward.
There are two volcanic planets rich in precious mineral resources visible from the outside, which can serve as military planets or leverage their inherent high heat to become specialized smelting planets.
Further out, there is a habitable planet with a habitable satellite; the value of such a habitable binary star system is self-evident.
Then there are two ordinary terrestrial planets, though ordinary only in comparison to other planets.
These two planets also possess a certain degree of resources.
Moreover, these planets are relatively large, and the planet itself is a form of resource.
Even further out lie a gas giant planet and an icy giant planet, both possessing exceptionally rich gaseous resources.
The gas giant even has two satellites.
These two satellites are enveloped by dense atmospheres, yet scan results reveal that the planets harbor many special pore-like structures.
Allowing these two satellites to produce abundant high-quality gaseous resources.
On the outermost area, there is a similarly ordinary-looking frozen planet, appearing to have no distinctive features.
However, according to Chen Ming’s latest scan results, there is an ecosystem present on this planet.
These creatures living in extreme cold hold considerable research value.
This is a perfect star system.
A self-sufficient, perfect Capital Star System.
According to the star system classification Chen Ming once learned about.
This star system is undoubtedly a level 6 star system.
However.
A very serious issue confronted Chen Ming.
Which is, in this star system, positioned on the orbit of the habitable binary star system relative to the star, there exists a Wormhole.
And it is still moving cyclically as if it were an ordinary planet.
"This... should count as a cosmic wonder star system, right..."
Brilliant responded, "According to the Human Empire’s standards, yes."
Cosmic wonder star system.
Chen Ming had previously learned about it.
Its definition encompasses the peculiar phenomena in the cosmos that current technology cannot explain, all collectively referred to as cosmic wonders.
Since its existence cannot be denied, yet its reason cannot be elucidated, it can only be labeled as a wonder.
And a cosmic wonder star system is one that contains such cosmic wonders.
There was once a Harmony Company related to his boss in some capacity, where the Plant Research Institute was located in a star system with a star lacking ultraviolet light, considered a cosmic wonder star system.
Previously, Chen Ming found this kind of thing’s existence quite strange, but after thinking carefully, having encountered every sort of Spiritual Energy, a star without ultraviolet rays wasn’t entirely unacceptable.
And the current Wormhole engaging in periodic movement around the star is evidently a cosmic wonder.
