Someone Always Wants To Corrupt My Disciple
Chapter 101: A Disciple from the Heavens
Yun Jiao was startled and hurried outside. The sky was filled with rolling thunderclouds; streaks of white lightning danced through the clouds, and in their very center, a figure stood wrapped in a sphere of white light. The man wore a long snow-white robe, immortal aura surrounding him. Though his hair and beard were white, he showed no trace of age—standing upright in the heavens, his mere presence radiated an overwhelming pressure that poured down over the earth.
This was… a real immortal descending from the heavens!
Yun Jiao’s heart gave a violent thump, instantly going cold. She suddenly felt like a mischievous child who’d caused trouble outside and now had the victim’s parent coming to demand justice.
“G-girl!” The old man also sensed the change in the sky and rushed out from the study on the other side. “What on earth—”
Before he could finish, his knees buckled as if crushed by an invisible weight, and he dropped straight to the ground. His blood surged violently, and a sweet metallic taste rushed up from his chest.
“Old man!” Yun Jiao cried out, rushing over to help him up. “Are you all right?”
“S-such… immense pressure.” The old man finally caught his breath, still pale with fright. He looked up uneasily. “What’s happening? Who is this person above?”
Yun Jiao didn’t have time to explain. Another clap of thunder rumbled through the heavens, and this time, the bolts did not fall outside the temple—they struck directly within it. The deafening crashes were endless. What few side halls remained standing were blasted apart one after another.
“Girl, watch out!” The old man grabbed Yun Jiao and pulled her aside just as a lightning bolt as thick as an arm came crashing down.
A split second later, the study behind them exploded into splinters. Bricks and shards of wood flew in all directions, and where they’d just been standing, a huge crater smoked.“Get out of here!” Yun Jiao shouted, trying to drag the old man away in the opposite direction.
But before they could move far, an even thicker bolt of lightning fell—right toward her room.
“Patriarch!” she gasped. The Patriarch was still inside! But it was too late; the lightning was already about to strike the roof.
Suddenly, a beam of golden light flared up, enveloping the entire house. It was as if a shimmering shield had been placed over it—and Yun Jiao and the old man, who were running toward it, were caught inside the barrier as well.
The terrifying bolt struck the golden light—but like a spark hitting water, it sizzled out with a hiss and vanished.
“Hmph! So you were hiding here!” The celestial voice boomed again, and the pressure around them grew even heavier.
The radiant figure in the sky suddenly descended, hovering two or three meters above the ground before the house. He looked furious—his long beard nearly bristling with rage—as his cold gaze swept over the two below and then fixed on the house. He spoke slowly, each word sharp as thunder.
“Sinner who dares defy Heaven’s will, come forth and meet your punishment!”
His voice echoed through the entire mountain range, ethereal and commanding, though he seemed to have exerted no effort at all. The oppressive power of it made resistance impossible. His face was dark with fury, his killing intent rolling off him in waves.
“Hand over the divine treasure you have stolen, or else—”
“Or else what?”
Before he could finish, a cool, detached voice drifted out from within the house. In an instant, the oppressive weight that the immortal had brought vanished, as though shattered.
The Patriarch stepped out of the doorway.
“Or else—” The voice in the air abruptly broke off. The furious immortal’s eyes went wide, his whole body freezing midair like he’d been struck by lightning. His expression turned to utter disbelief.
“Or else what?” the Patriarch asked again.
“Or… else…” The immortal dumbly repeated the words—and then, with a sudden thud, his knees gave way. From three meters up, he dropped straight to the ground and knelt, bowing low toward Ye Yuan’s direction until his forehead nearly touched the earth.
“Or else—he knelt down!”
Yun Jiao: “…”
Bai Yu: “…”
Eh?
What just happened?

Before they could react, the once-domineering immortal suddenly switched to a trembling, deferential tone, his celestial voice quivering as he called out softly:
“M-master… Master?!”
!!!!
Yun Jiao and the old man both froze, eyes wide in shock.
Holy crap!
This immortal who’d descended to smite them… was the Patriarch’s disciple?!
“Don’t call me that.” Ye Yuan’s expression darkened, his brows furrowing as he looked down at the man in disgust. His voice was cold. “Go on—if I don’t return it, what were you planning to do?”
“D-d-disciple wouldn’t dare!” The immortal, who moments ago had radiated boundless majesty, now looked on the verge of tears. His immortal bearing and divine composure were gone, and even his body trembled.
“Hmph.” Ye Yuan gave a cold snort, his face full of irritation, as if merely seeing this fool angered him. “Ten thousand years apart, and you’ve actually grown worse?”
“M-master…” The immortal trembled harder, feeling more wronged by the second. He lifted his head slightly, his voice quivering. “D-disciple truly didn’t know it was you who took my spiritual vein. I only… I only beg your forgiveness!”
The more he thought about it, the more aggrieved he felt. Could anyone blame him? His master had come and, without so much as a greeting, had taken his spiritual vein. He’d been meditating peacefully—then woke up to find one missing! Of course he’d try to investigate, and that trail had led him all the way here. How could he have known…
He was just a truly pitiful man!
“M-master,” he said weakly, straightening a little though his back stayed hunched like a shrimp. “Everyone has a spiritual vein—it’s only used to draw spiritual energy into the body. This disciple truly doesn’t understand… forgive my boldness, but why would you take mine?”
Ye Yuan gave him a flat glance and replied coldly with a single word:
“For use.”
Serious and deadpan—as if taking his disciple’s spiritual vein on a whim were the most natural thing in the world.
“…” Uh… what kind of answer was that?!
“You’ve already become an immortal. The spiritual vein is useless to you.” Perhaps noticing the other’s pitiful expression, Ye Yuan added calmly.
“Uh…” The immortal’s face stiffened even more.
“What? You’re unwilling?” Ye Yuan’s gaze sharpened dangerously.
“N-no, not at all!” The immortal shook his head frantically like a rattle-drum, sneaking a fearful glance at him. How could he dare say no? “It’s just… it’s just…” He stammered for ages but never managed to finish the sentence, his eyes darting nervously. Whether it was because he didn’t know how to explain or simply didn’t dare, no one could tell.
Finally, Yun Jiao came back to her senses, feeling a twinge of guilt. She stepped forward and said softly but firmly, “Forget it, Patriarch. Maybe you should return his spiritual vein. He looks rather pitiful.”
At those words, the already-terrified immortal’s eyes went wide in astonishment, as if he’d just heard something utterly unimaginable.
Eh? Someone in this world actually dares to advise the Master?!

Quick, look! A truly fearless woman!
