Someone Always Wants To Corrupt My Disciple

Chapter 100: Receiving the Spiritual Meridian

Yun Jiao shoved the thick stack of teaching materials into the old man’s hands.

“All right, class starts at seven tomorrow morning. Don’t be late, Teacher.”

After all—she’d already collected the tuition. Triple rate, no refunds.

Without waiting for his protests, she turned on her heel and strode out.

“Wait, girl—!” Bai Yu nearly cried. He understood the logic, yes, but… wasn’t this a little much? Sure, he’d studied all those mind techniques before, and with the girl’s annotated explanations, he’d understood every single one of them. But comprehension was one thing; cultivation was another!

Each mind technique took years—decades even—to master. He himself had only cultivated Heart of the Profound to the third level. In short: quick learner, hopeless practitioner.

Wasn’t sending him to teach disciples basically misleading the youth?!

He didn’t find out until the next morning that—surprisingly—it actually worked.

The materials Yun Jiao had given him were ridiculously complete: not only the full set of explanations and examples he’d studied before, but also detailed notes on potential difficulties, frequently asked questions, and a perfectly structured syllabus—lesson by lesson, topic by topic, building up in clear progression.

In simpler terms, unless a student was spectacularly stupid or spent the whole class daydreaming, they could understand everything.

And since the class was conducted entirely through communication talisman broadcast, he didn’t even have to demonstrate anything. He only needed to explain the theories and principles—actual cultivation was up to the students themselves.

After all, talent varied widely. Even with the same technique, every person’s progress would differ.

Come to think of it, when he learned from Yun Jiao, she’d never personally demonstrated any of the techniques either—yet somehow, he’d still learned them. Granted, the Grandmaster did “test” (read: beat up) him once a month to check his progress, but since the old man’s movement speed was godlike, he could never really see what hit him anyway.

When he once complained, Yun Jiao had just tilted her head and said:

“That’s perfectly normal. Not every physics teacher knows how to build an atom bomb.”

He didn’t understand what an ‘atom bomb’ was, but somehow it made perfect sense.

Confidence surging, Bai Yu not only taught the syllabus with gusto—he even added two extra exam papers! After all, those were the same ones the girl had made him do. If he was going to teach, he’d teach the full package! The Qingyang Sect did not hold back knowledge!

Heh heh heh. Glorious!

They were spreading the Dao with integrity!

The disciples: “…”

Is it too late to get a refund?

And just like that, the entire cultivation world suddenly found itself swept up in an academic enlightenment movement.

Meanwhile, Yun Jiao—who had gracefully dumped all responsibility onto the old man—finally had time to focus on studying alchemy.

As her medical studies deepened, more and more content overlapped with pill refinement. Many rare herbs and formulas appeared—materials she had never encountered before, all of them extraordinarily valuable.

She hadn’t dared to try before (too expensive), but now that her “training classes” were making profit, she could finally afford to start learning.

Only problem: alchemy required spiritual energy.

And she… still didn’t have a spiritual meridian.

She had thought of substituting with formation energy to channel spiritual flow, but before she could even try—

—her Grandmaster returned.

He appeared out of nowhere, robed in immaculate white, his expression as cold and distant as ever. But Yun Jiao sensed something different—his aura was stronger, denser, as if the air itself bowed beneath his presence. His brows were faintly furrowed, as though something had irked him.

Without a word, he extended his hand toward her. “Here. Take it.”

“Ah?”

Yun Jiao blinked. In his palm lay a long, branching object shaped like a lightning bolt—gleaming white, faintly luminous, and radiating an aura identical to his own celestial energy.

“…What is that?”

“Your spiritual meridian,” Night Abyss replied seriously. “Just place it into your consciousness.”

As he spoke, the white thing crackled faintly—and wiggled.

“It’s… alive?!” Yun Jiao yelped, recoiling. “Are you sure that’s really a meridian? No one told me spiritual meridians were literal creatures!”

“Don’t like it?” His expression cooled. After a second, he frowned at the white meridian in his hand as if dissatisfied, muttering, “Hmm. It is a bit inferior…”

Before she could respond, he waved his hand.

Zzzrkk—!

In an instant, several more appeared in his palm—glowing red, blue, purple, and gold, each one branching and shimmering. He held a handful of them now, like a fistful of glowing rainbow eels.

“Then pick one yourself.” He spoke perfectly earnestly, holding them out as though offering her jewelry.

Yun Jiao: “……”

“Ah, right.” He seemed to recall something. “The white one suits your condition best. But if you like another color, that’s fine too.”

“…Master.” Yun Jiao took a long, steadying breath. “May I ask where you got these… meridians?”

“Pulled them out from a few idiots,” he replied, calm as ever.

“Pulled…?” Yun Jiao’s serious façade cracked completely. “You mean these meridians were taken from living people?!”

He nodded. “Yes. Don’t worry—perfectly safe.” His expression said clearly: trust me, no side effects at all.

“……”

That wasn’t the point!!

Her temples throbbed. “Can I ask whose meridians these are?”

His brows furrowed impatiently. “Not important.”

“……”

Very important!!

Spiritual meridians were the foundation of cultivation. Without one, you couldn’t even channel energy—and he’d just… ripped a bunch out of people?!

Her head ached. Maybe it was her cooking—maybe she’d nurtured a bear child instead of a foodie.

But still—her Grandmaster was her Grandmaster. She’d just have to survive it.

She took a deep breath, preparing to reason with him.

“Grandmaster—”

She hadn’t even finished when—

CRACK—BOOM!!!

Thunder exploded overhead.

The sky darkened instantly; day became night in the blink of an eye. Gales howled, clouds roiled, lightning flashed—one blinding bolt after another hammered down around Qingyang Temple, each strike carving massive craters into the ground.

An immense divine pressure blanketed the heavens. A resonant, ethereal voice echoed through the storm—calm yet reverberating through the very soul:

“Insolent mortal! You dare trespass upon the Heavenly Realm and defy celestial law?!”
