Saga clenched his fists tightly, a gleam of ambition shining in his eyes. His snow-white teeth flashed like a starving wolf in the dead of night.

"Hmph, you think I’d be afraid? Alex, since you have the nerve, then I’ll risk it all with you this once..."

Alex spoke in a ringing voice:

"Based on my investigation, the resurrection of the Hydra is highly likely connected to the Titan Gods!"

Saga took a step forward and dropped to one knee. His sea-blue hair cascaded over his shoulders as he lowered his proud head.

"I, Saga, am willing to spend the rest of my life protecting the Sanctuary to atone for my past sins."

Alex spoke up from the side.

"The strength of the Hydra is extraordinary. Although Saga has committed grave errors in the past, he fought with his life on the line to slay the Hydra this time. I implore Your Holiness to grant him a chance at redemption."

A gentle breeze swept past, sending Shion’s robes fluttering ceaselessly—much like his tumultuous emotions. He remained silent for a long time.

No one knew what expression lay hidden beneath the Pope’s golden mask at this moment.

By now, the Gold Saints from the other temples finally realized what was happening.

By doing this, Alex was openly forcing the Pope’s hand!

He brought Saga back with the explicit intention of reinstating him in the Sanctuary to take command of the Gemini Temple!
