Chapter 52: Chapter 26: Bronze vs. Silver (Part 2)

A sharpness uncharacteristic of a young girl flashed within her azure eyes.

"The whereabouts of the Sagittarius Cloth remain unknown. If we are captured and taken back to the Sanctuary, we won’t have another chance to turn the tables. We must escape; it’s our only hope of finding the lost Cloth!"

Seiya rushed toward the room where the Pegasus Cloth box was stored.

"That voice... it’s my teacher, Marin. I’ll hold her off! You guys take Miss Saori and leave first!"

Wordlessly, Shun dashed toward the basement where his older brother, Ikki, was being held.

Hyoga and Shiryu also immediately donned their Cloths. The scene instantly descended into chaos.

Seiya was the first to leap out the window. His sky-blue Pegasus Bronze Cloth gleamed under the moonlight.

In the courtyard, Marin, wearing her silver mask, stood silently beneath a cherry blossom tree.

"Seiya..." Marin’s voice drifted through the mask, carrying an imperceptible trace of complex emotion. "Surrender. You are no match for me!"

"I’m sorry, Teacher Marin." Seiya assumed his fighting stance, his Cosmo burning fiercely. "I have my reasons why I cannot go back with you. Please, just give me a little time. I’m begging you!"

Beneath her silver mask, the corners of Marin’s mouth curled up slightly. "So your wings have fully grown, and you no longer listen to your teacher? It seems you intend to put up a stubborn resistance. Make your move! Let me see just how much you’ve grown during this time!"

Suddenly, Marin soared into the air like a hunting falcon. The silver Eagle Cloth spread its wings under the moonlight as her entire being transformed into a streak of silver-white light.

"Eagle Ultimate Technique: Eagle Toe Flash!"

Boom!

Unable to dodge in time, Seiya was blasted into the brick wall behind him. The sound of shattering masonry mixed with his muffled, suppressed groan.

"Pegasus Meteor Fist!"

Meanwhile, the others came to a sudden halt at the gates of the estate.

A figure bathed in pink blocked their path. Lizard Misty was casually using a comb to brush his long golden hair. His Silver Cloth gleamed with an eerie, beautiful luster under the streetlights.

"Hehe... Trying to escape? You think mere Bronze Saints can run away while in the presence of the great Lord Misty?"

Before his words even faded, the phantasmal projection of a massive lizard lunged at the group.

"I’ll hold him off! Take Miss Saori and go!"

Shiryu raised his Dragon Shield defensively. The immense impact force sent him sliding far backward across the ground!

"Rozan Sho Ryu Ha!"

An azure dragon with five claws roared as it charged at Misty.

Misty’s expression shifted slightly.

’Are Bronze Saints truly this strong? But just this is still not enough!’

Boom!

Their fiercely burning Cosmos collided violently.

The others hadn’t managed to escape more than a few kilometers when a towering, burly Saint blocked their path under the moonlight. Standing at nearly two meters tall, his mere presence exuded a powerful, oppressive aura.

He slammed his fists together, producing a heavy, metallic clang, and introduced himself.

"Give up your resistance, you Bronze brats! I am the Whale Silver Saint, Moses!"

The Whale Saint? Hyoga stepped forward. As long as it wasn’t his teacher, Alex, showing up, he was confident he could take them on—even if they were Silver Saints!

"Whale Spouting Bomber!"

"Diamond Dust!"

The phantom of a colossal whale and a blast of silvery-white, frigid air crashed into each other.

In the end, only Shun and Ikki remained by Saori’s side.

Just then, a giant white snake appeared in their path. The massive serpent coiled up and flicked its blood-red, forked tongue at the trio!

Shun released the bronze chains binding Ikki.

"Brother, it’s my teacher, Albiore. I am the only one who can face this battle. I’ll leave Miss Saori to you!"

Ikki rolled his wrists and let out a cold snort.

"The Sagittarius Gold Cloth went missing while in my hands. Don’t worry, I will definitely retrieve it. Until then, I’ll reluctantly help you protect this woman for a while."

With four Silver Saints desperately held off by the Bronze Saints, only Sagitta Ptolemy and Canis Major Sirius remained unaccounted for.

The Canis Major Saint, Sirius, possessed an exceptional sense of smell. No matter how far Saori and Ikki ran, they could easily track them down.

However, these two Saints currently wore completely blank stares, their pupils pitch-black and devoid of light.

"Lord Pope, can we not make our move yet?"

Far away in the Sanctuary, Alex gently stroked the golden ring on his finger. The skull on the Ring of the Underworld faintly glowed. As if he were there in person, he could see everything transpiring at the scene clearly through the magic ring from the Lord of the Rings universe.

The corners of Alex’s mouth curled up slightly.

"It’s not time yet. Wait a little longer!"
